About: What sets me apart is the level of personal attention and calm, consistent care I give to each pet. I treat every animal like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved and comfortable in their routine. I am reliable and truly passionate about creating a stress free experience for both vets and their owners. Pet care first perfectly into my daily routine because I am a full time mom ( grown kids) and home full time. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I care for pets by following their routine as closely as possible. Mealtime, walks and play. I take time to learn their personalities and what comforts them.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, attentive dog sitter who treats every pup like part of the family. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so my goal is simple: keep your dog safe, happy, exercised, and loved—while keeping you updated and worry-free. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities—from couch potatoes to zoomie champions. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, leash manners, and sticking closely to your dog’s usual schedule. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, calm companionship, or all of the above, I adjust to what they need. You can expect: • Lots of one-on-one attention • Regular photo and video updates • Respect for your home and your rules • Clear, prompt communication • A sitter who actually enjoys hanging out with your dog I understand dogs communicate in their own ways, and I’m patient with shy pups, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra care. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. If you’re looking for someone dependable, calm, and genuinely dog-obsessed, I’d love to help care for your pup while you’re away. I am a dog Mom of 3 (small, medium, & large LOL) with a strong support system at home allowing me to assist you with your dog sitting needs. Having recently resigned from a very stressful corporate America role, I am ready for a meaningful, positive experience that gets me excited to go to work and take the best care of your fur babies having 3 spoiled pups of my own. I also have several years of experience with cat care for my neighbors who travel often. Keeping pets on schedule is very important to me and my pups. Following client instructions regarding feeding times, walks or time in the yard, applicable medications and/or treats, playtime, bedtime or whatever is needed for the best experience for the owner & pet!
About: From an early age I began petsitting a variety of dogs in my neighborhood, family, and of friends. From Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Jack Russells, Dachshunds, Beagles, Hounds, Dobermanns, and more I have experience with a range of breeds. I often used to petsit for my neighbors who had five dogs. I also have owned a Rottweiler, Rhodesian Ridgeback and Bichon Frisé. I have always regarded having a connection with animals as an important quality and have never met an animal that didn’t like me! I recently left my position at Florida International University College of Hospitality and I want to lend my services in pet care to my community. I am available fulltime and I am able to provide transparent communication throughout the week. I want to ensure you that your pet is getting the best care possible and you can focus on work, vacation, or whatever reason my services are required. Able to provide frequent walks and top quality care. I don’t have pets of my own and I prefer to house sit but I am able to accommodate boarding at my apartment if preferred with regular walks.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Melrose Park
Bianca did an amazing job! She is by far the best and most professional sitter I’ve used on the app so far. Seeing her level of care makes it completely clear why she has over 100 repeat clients. She was incredibly punctual, consistent, and trustworthy, taking absolute best care of all my animals. I asked for updates and she was very thorough with hers which gave me complete peace of mind. Every single day, she made sure to give my dog dedicated playtime at home, all while still taking her on a full 1/2-mile walk around my block as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-tier care!

Amazing!!!!!!!! Valeria is the best!!!!!! I had an issue with my door and she sat there and waited until maintenance came and stayed to walk Aurora!!! I am so happy that u chose Valeria and I know Aurora is as well!!!! Will definitely be booking with you again!!!! Thank you so so much 🥰

Sophia did a fantastic job walking my dog! She was super attentive, making sure my pup was happy and comfortable during the 30-minute walk. Her communication was excellent, with quick updates and photos that kept me in the loop. My dog came back tired and content, and I couldn’t be happier with the care provided. Highly recommend Sophia for a reliable and caring dog-walking experience!”

Samantha was punctual, nice and sweet. She did a good job with our big dog for the first time. Unfortunately we did not establish beforehand that she would be bringing a guest with her into our house and I was just not comfortable that it wasn’t communicated upfront and not professional. Since walkers should all be background-verified before entering someone’s private property, not knowing in advance did not work for me as it was a liability and breech of trust for us. She is nice girl though I hope she can communicate that in the future to potentially have more repeat clients.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
