About: I’ve had pets since I was a child. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds - you name it. I’ve always been an animal lover and even wanted to be a veterinarian until I found out was euthanasia is. In my adolescence, I began pet sitting and volunteering with the SPCA (where we adopted all of our pets); small and big dogs, and sometimes multiple at a time. I started to experiment with training and enjoyed teaching tricks and obedience commands. When I turned 19, I inherited my family dog, Rocco, and we became best friends. My favorite memories from those years are taking him to parks and reserves across New York State. In 2025, he got sick and I learned a lot from taking care of him through the end of his life. It was important to me that he felt like a happy, special dog during his last days because he filled my life with so much joy. The day before his euthanasia, I invited everyone who knew him to celebrate his life. He was showered in presents and treats and cuddles and surrounded by humans he loved. Animals share such unique bonds with us. Now, I am looking for opportunities to share my love of animals through Rover. I hope you consider me as your next pet sitter. I am available! My best times are evenings and weekends, with sporadic availability midday during the week. I work 8-4 Monday through Thursday at a local farm collective in Kirkville and a community garden in South Syracuse. In my free time, I enjoy making art in all kinds of media and being outside. I am looking to spend my time with animals and make their lives happy and bright! Trust and safety is my utmost priority. Through many years of being around different animals, I learned the important of an initial bond based in trust and respect. I hold myself with strength and create an energy of a safe and inviting environment. I am able to gauge an animal’s personality and demeanor, and adjust accordingly. For pets that love to play, I am always happy to bring out my goofy and fun-loving side. For more reserved companions, I enjoy taking things slow and doing calmer activities. About: I would not be where I am today without the incredible impact animals have made on my life all throughout my years of living. I am a dedicated animal lover and give immense care and love to my furry friends. I have 3 furry friends of my own! I have a Bernedoodle named Samoa and she is the sweetest girl and loves everyone ☺️ I have 2 cats named Ollie and Maisie, they are bestfriends! Maisie is my fierce calico and Ollie is my handsome tuxedo boy. There has never been a time in my life where I did not own or care for animals. I look at them as my own children and would do absolutely anything necessary to make sure they go through life happy 🫶🏼 I am a full time pharmacy technician, my work schedule is pretty flexible, but I am mostly free on the weekends. I include pet care into my routine before my scheduled shift on days that I do work, and after work. There are days that I do have off. I care for my pets and other people’s pets in the best way possibly. I will provide lots of love with pets, scratches, toy playing, running, and everything else in between. Sarah was amazing with Ramsey and I would absolutely book with her again. She sent notes and pictures every day and spent lots of time playing and walking him. She was even able to stop in for an extra day when I had a travel emergency last minute. I came home to a well loved and happy puppy!
Cori and Jamie took good care of my kitty while I was away and I was able to have peace of mind while I was away from home, knowing that I could count on them. They were very attentive to her needs and spent time with her so she didn’t feel alone. They were great at communicating with me at all times. They even watered my outside potted plants so I didn’t come home to dead flowers. Will definitely book again!
Hannah has been super with our 2 dachshunds and 3 cats. She has been pet sitting for a couple of years with daily visits along with overnight stays when we’ve gone out of town. One of our dachshunds is very timid and guarded but warmed up to her very quickly. She even visited one day when the other dachshund chewed through the water line to a toilet and flooded the bathroom. She turned off the water and then sent us videos of what happened. Could have been so much worse if it weren’t for Hannah. We highly recommend Hannah for your pet sitting needs.
