About: I’ve taken care of my family’s pets all my life and have 2 dogs of my own. I worked as a Vet Technician for 4 years and now work relief shifts every once in a while. I am capable of going on long walks/hikes, cutting nails and giving medications. Evenings and weekends work best for me. I work Monday through Friday and get off at 4pm, so any time afterwards is best. I can be flexible on weekends. I will always have my eyes on your pets, keeping close to them whether hanging out inside, going on walks or being loose in the backyard.

I will tend to your pet throughout the day since this is my time off and I would not be working. This means, early morning wake up, 30 minutes to an hour walk, 30 minute rest, feeding, followed by relaxation and play until noon. At around noon, another walk (30 minute) and/or play or relaxing depending on energy level of the dog and finally evening, another walk and/or play. If you have a yard, there would be intermittent outdoor time throughout the day, especially as some dogs love to sunbathe, smell flowers, or chase lizards. Basically, I will tend to their needs and make them feel as comfortable as they could be without their owners around. I can take your pet on walks 2-3 times a day (less or more if you would like) and tend to their needs. Since I will be doing this during my time off, I will mostly be home with the dogs (at most 2-3 hours away total doing groceries or going to gym). I can crate your dog if needed, but they will mostly be with me. If there are parks around, I will gladly take them there.

I felt instantly at ease with her keeping watch over the dogs and staying in our home. I had no concerns whatsoever. Upon our return home, the dogs behavior was normal and not over the top as it can be when we pick them up from boarding. I take that as a sign that they were able to maintain their normal routines and be in a familiar environment. Our home was spotless and Meghan even ran the dishwasher and a load of the sheets/towels that she used. Absolutely unnecessary of her but deeply appreciated!”

“This is our first time using Rover to find someone to come into our home and take care of our pets. I like the reviews of Ryan and scheduled a meet and greet with him to make sure he would comfortable with staying at the house. My main concern was keeping the dog and cat separated since they don't get along. Ryan sent me updates of how things were going, which was reassuring. Joplin (dog) really liked Ryan and she doesn't like everyone. We came home from our trip and Joplin was very happy to see us. If your dog enjoys being active and exploring, I’d be happy to include them in those adventures (with your permission, of course!). I also enjoy relaxing at home, so whether your pup prefers playtime or cuddles on the couch, I’m happy to match their routine. I generally prefer pet sitting in the client’s home because it allows the dog to stay in a familiar environment, which can help them feel more comfortable and secure while getting to know me. If I do care for a dog in my own home, we have a spacious living room and kitchen where they can relax and play. They’re welcome in all common areas, including the living room, where they can join me on the couch, keep me company while I cook or eat, or simply hang out with me while I work from my home office. The only area that is off-limits is the main bedroom. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and included throughout the day.
