I adore dogs! I have cared for many pets and homes throughout my life, from small dogs and puppies to Brittanys and Labs. I am very experienced in walking dogs, playing with them, and providing their basic food and water needs. I genuinely love dogs, and can't get enough of them. I have also cared for birds, fish, and other small pets such as hamsters and Guinea pigs. I am an expert caretaker of homes, both apartments and houses. I have served as a long-term housesitter for friends and families, and while I am not a homeowner, I have rented numerous houses and cared for them meticulously. I also absolutely love gardening and am quite experienced, so I am more than happy to provide gardening and landscaping maintenance.

I am careful and conscientious with pets. I make sure they have enough to eat, drink, and enough exercise. I am good at taking dogs on walks, and I follow owners' instructions to the letter.

Laura is an amazing, compassionate human, and a dog lover and caretaker to the max. My dog Denna in Minnesota loves Laura so much. She shows so much warmth and affection for that little sacred goblin when she comes to visit me. I would trust Laura 100% to watch for my dog, walk my dog, and give my dog the best possible care if I was in the market for a dog sitter or dog walker! Bonus is that Laura is a PhD in music and may introduce your dog to a few masterful tunes during their time together. I highly recommend Laura to any Rover user looking for someone to trust and vibe with.
Laura is an absolutely wonderful sitter! She took exceptional care of our doodle, Ruby! We came back to a spotless house and a very happy, relaxed dog who was clearly well loved and cared for. Communication was effortless from start to finish. Laura went above and beyond in every way. We felt completely at ease while away and feel so fortunate to have found Laura. Ruby misses her. We would welcome Laura back anytime and hope for many more sits together in the future!

Laura is a very talented and accomplished woman that uses her skills to teach college kids. She helps change lives for the better. She invited me to her show which had a power failure. She handled the situation like a champ and within minutes the choir and instruments had their cell phones lighting up the music. A brilliant mind and great talent and I look forward to see her very bright future.
We are so pleased that we chose Laura to take care of our two dogs. She handled them with great care and clearly loves them! She was very accommodating, willing to stay at our house, since we thought they would be more comfortable. It also was very reassuring having someone trusting at the house while we were out of town. Laura even sent us photos that were so sweet. We will always choose Laura!
Laura is absolutely wonderful! I can't express how happy my animals have been with her, which of course thrills me. I have never felt so calm when I've had to leave my babies as when Laura is caring for them. She took great care of my home and plants as well. Laura is the BEST!!!

Schedule
I am a professor, so I have a lot of flexibility in the summer months until mid to late August. During the summer months, I teach a bit and do some activities, but I am able to be home as much as needed to care for pets.
