About: I have loved and cared for animals since I was young and cherished every moment of it. My fur baby is a McKamey’s rescue dog who I adopted and cared for 4 years ago. She’s super sweet and loves to meet new friends. I’m currently a stay at home dog mom who loves watching and caring for other pets. There are four bedrooms and 2 of them are dedicated for the puppers to play and relax. I have 8 kennels at your request if your fur baby is kennel trained. Have lots of food and treats depending on your babies needs or schedule. I will ensure your puppers feels like they went on vacation :)

My dog has all of the above. For emergencies and fun, my quiet neighborhood is located between 2 great full service animal hospitals and 2 lakes. I have my own dog, and I am a full-time pet sitter. All dogs will get round-the-clock attention and play time in my home. I have the same expectation when someone keeps my dog. I keep a fun, clean, safe environment for your dog. I use playpens with pillows for comfort, and I have food bowls. You only need to bring a supply of dog food and up-to-date shot records.

About: I’m a neonatal and critical care kitten and puppy foster mama and the founder of a rescue (Your Local Fur Mama). I board out of my home to help with some of the costs I incur from rescue life. I only take a very limited amount of dogs at one time (usually 2 or 3 tops) because it’s important to me that they feel at home. My husband and I both WFH and all our boarders get to hang out with us around the house, sit on the couch and snuggle, etc. rather than the typical boarding scenario where they are kenneled a majority of the time. Our kitty boarders get their own private room equipped with window perches, cozy beds, a litter box, food and water bowls, and lots of toys. Each room has feliway diffusers and a white noise machine to help with any stress and anxiety from being in a new place. I also have extensive vet med experience and am well versed in medication administration both oral and injectables. If that seems like it might be a good fit, I’d be more than happy to chat! Both my husband and I work from home with very flexible jobs which allows us to spend quality time and give individualized care to all of our boarders. Your pets will enjoy a loving, comfortable home with plenty of freedom to relax—including cozy spots on the furniture. They’ll have safe playtime 4 times a day at a local dog park and are let out for potty breaks 6 times a day. When we aren't going on walks, the dogs will be free to roam the townhouse and enjoy plenty of love and pets! At night, they’ll sleep peacefully in their crate, but don’t worry—I provide plenty of fun and enrichment during the day to make sure they’re happily tuckered out and ready for a restful sleep. Every pet gets personal attention and care tailored to their needs, so they feel right at home.

About: I grew up in the country taking care of every type of animal you could think of! But my baby was our dog! She would do everything with me to taking care of the chickens to just snuggling on my lap. I’d feed, watered and groom our pets, and taking them on walks. About: H! I am an RN who works from home with a very flexible schedule. I’m a single mom to two teenage girls. They will be helping me out at times with the animals in our home, but they have been fully responsible for their own pets (from hamsters to their own cat and dogs). We all absolutely love animals and have cared for dogs from tiny (2 pounds as adults) Chihuahuas to Malinois to almost 300 pound Mastiffs. I’ve taken in and found homes for nearly 100 dogs and cats over the years and I am taking classes to become a professional dog trainer. I love my job as an RN but animas are my other passion. Our animals are not owned by us, they are our family. We are their guardians. When you come to our home, you will know animals live here. That is not because of the smell (we keep our home very clean), but because everything is set up for their unique needs. I specialize in tiny dogs as we have 6 chihuahuas from 2 pounds to about 5 pounds… then our big guy who is 10 pounds. 😜 I am very in tune to our dogs and have made it my mission to create the most enriching life possible for them. Our home is set up for tiny dog safety. We are careful and aware at all times of where they are. And we know how to meet their unique needs. Although my own dogs are tiny, I have had plenty of bigger dog experience in the past. I care for several of my friends’ dogs (Doberman, Malinois, Corgi, Boxer, Great Pyrenees, Mastiff, etc.) when they are out of town. I prefer to take in smaller dogs simply because our home is not large enough to accommodate a large dog well, although I may make an win a case by case basis. We do also have a cat and I feed the neighborhood strays, but my cat experience is less extensive. When you bring your pet to us, they will be treated like family. They will be a part of our day to day lives. They will sit with us on the couch (if you are okay with this) during movie nights, go on walks with us every morning and evening (and more as needed), they will go in car rides if they like them and you approve, and more. I’m available 24/7/365 as I work from home. I am a nurse with many years of experience working with several types of animals. Regular potty breaks and lots of snuggles will be available around the clock. I have a good sized back yard and your pet is welcome inside or out according to preference. I live in a neighborhood with safe walking areas for daily and more stimulating exercise. I enjoy trail running and there are many nearby trails for dogs with higher energy. I work from home and have several dogs of my own so your fury family member won’t be lonely.
