“Lee is the absolute best! Firstly she is so communicative and responsive, she makes all of the logistics so easy. Our dog is very anxious and typically very apprehensive of new environments, people and dogs - he can’t just be left with just any dog sitter - and Lee was so understanding of him and made him feel right at home. She truly understands small dogs!!”

“Ellie had a great day with Danielle and Joel! They were very active with her and gave her plenty of outdoor time which we so appreciate! Our pup came home happy and sleepy from her day of play.”

“Lily had a nice visit with Renae, her boyfriend, and their sweet dog, Kimchi. I appreciated how patient Renae was with Lily's appetite issues due to chronic kidney disease. I feel comfortable leaving Lily in her care.”

“Aman was very nice and Lucy appeared to really like him as well. He was very flexible for my last minute request. He did send pictures and updates of her stay with him. I will definitely request his service in the future.”

“Michelle took great care of Maisie and was communicative and quick to respond during the day. I would leave Maisie with Michelle again if available and recommend her to others.”

“We had a last minute cancellation and had to adjust our plans on the fly. Lilly was happy to accommodate my nervous pup and help her feel comfortable for the day.”

“Courtney is amazing! Llew has boarded a few times with her (we don’t trust him with anyone else) and this was his first time experiencing Doggy Daycare!! He LOVED it and anytime we pulled onto the street he would be in a rush to go inside and wouldn’t look back. Courtney not only cares so much, but she has also definitely helped with training as I feel like Llew has definitely picked up on Oliver’s great habits. He’s more confident and calm! Courtney has excellent communication and also sends multiple updates and pics throughout the day. Llew is fixed now, but before he’d want to constantly play (puppy energy) and Ollie would always play with Llew no matter what (even if he was tired). He is the sweetest dog. We are so thankful for Courtney and her family!”

About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. If you're interested, I invite you to come by for a meet and greet—see the space, meet me, and let me meet your little one. I look forward to being your dog’s new best friend! Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. I structure my routine around their needs, with group outings, downtime, and a consistent rhythm. If my personal life calls me away, I have an amazing assistant Alaina who steps in. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.

About: I grew up with 3 dachshunds and pet sat for many years during college. I've also had 2 cats during college that have since passed away. I've worked a summer on a goat farm, fed chickens, and watched pet doves. I have a good presence with animals and people. I am a freelancer and am at home for the majority of the day. I can bring your dog with me to the park and running errands. Sometimes I'm out on client meetings here and there, but am always close to home. We are at the Vespr apartment building which are a dogs haven. Minutes from the lake for morning walks, with a built in doggy spa and run for evening potty breaks. Big windows with sunshine spots for sun soaking naps and filtered water for tasty sips.

“Athena is great! Rockee is always excited to see her in the morning, and I appreciate her flexibility with my work schedule and open communication. She’s also been helping with Rockee’s reactivity and I’ve noticed a calmer demeanor when he’s around other dogs. Thank you Athena!”

“My puppy had such a fun full day with Heather! I was so relaxed knowing he was in such great hands while I was away for the day. Being able to see Socks have such a great time via picture and video updates throughout the day was awesome and very reassuring! Heather’s communication was excellent and professional! I would 100% recommend Heather to anyone looking for a great sitter. I’m so happy I connected with her on this app and I will definitely be utilizing her services anytime I need excellent care for my baby while I am away”

“Azar was great with the coqui! She’s so nice and easy to coordinate with. We met beforehand and it was clear she loves dogs, so I was comfortable with her caring for coqui. She sent some pics of him couch lounging and took him on a bunch of walks. I would definitely have him hang with her again.”

“Latricia is the best! Pika has been at her place quite a few times and was happy every time he went! He also became good buddies with Latricia’s dog Prince. She would send me awesome pictures of Pika without me asking so I know he’s having a blast there!”

“I recently got my first dog and was a bit nervous putting him in doggy daycare for the first time. He also has separation anxiety and that didn't help my nerves. Noni was super kind and made me feel comfortable right away. Her two dogs are sweet and during the pet sitting she kept me updated with how my dog was doing and sent me pictures. All of this helped ease me and my dog loved her. She was able to ease his nerves and make him feel comfortable. I'll definitely book with Noni again because I know she'll take good care of him!!!”

About: I have walked over 150 dogs and cared for 3 dogs over the past two months. I am familiar with all breeds large and small. I am happy to work on training during walks for puppies who need a bit more discipline. I love to mix in run and walks for your puppy on my walks. I almost always try to bring your pet to the park for them to enjoy grassy areas and meet other puppies. I love to provide video and photos of our walks. It would be a pleasure to take care of your pet when you’re at work or even away for the long weekend. I am excited to accommodate any needs like refreshing the water bowls or adding food before or after the walk if requested. Thanks for consideration.

About: Hi! My name is Frankie (they/them). I am originally from Australia, and moved to the Bay Area ten years ago to work with disability arts organizations. I’m a life long dog lover, I’ve raised two large dogs from puppyhood to adulthood, taken care of small dogs and puppies, as well as elderly dogs, and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes! I currently regularly walk and play with several small and large dogs. I have experience dogsitting up to 15 days for all kinds of dogs including high energy dogs. I have raised and lived with more cats than I can count on both hands. Some other hats I wear are artist, writer, admin wizard, and swim teacher. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I am currently working a part time flexible schedule, so I can be very flexible with dog care. I love to schedule in time to play and exercise with my doggy friends. I have a fenced yard, and a gated area in my home for my dog. My dog loves to play with other dogs! In other homes I take it slow letting the dog get used to me by having plenty of time to smell and lick me so we have time to bond before we play or walk together.

“I didn’t actually meet Alfredo when I dropped my puppy at his house, but his wife was awesome and he’s been super responsive and professional. My puppy spent the day with them and came home happy and clearly well cared for. I had never left him with anyone before, and Alfredo was very compassionate and reassuring!”

Aimee E.
“My 4 year old Aussiedoodle Ruby has been doing daycare and boarding with Aimee for over 2 years. I am so thankful I found her. I'm very protective of my dog and Aimee has become a second parent! Her family has welcomed ruby into their home and ruby is completely in love with each family member. I wanted a daycare that was not corporate or in a warehouse setting where dogs don't go outside. At Aimee's, they go on outings almost every day or hang out in the water park she's built in the backyard just for them! I get photos while I'm sitting at my work desk and know Ruby is living her best life. Aimee is also learning about animal behavior and has helped Ruby break some tough habits that I couldn't train out of her on my own . She has also been supportive through some scary health situations with ruby and I trust her completely with Ruby's well-being. Sometimes I've considered moving to S.F. to be closer to work, but I know I'd never find another Aimee, so it's out of the question. Can't recommend her highly enough!”

Essie L.

Clifford C.
“Cliff has shown nothing but the utmost attention and care when taking care of Benjamin. He showed his experience and willingness to deal with my Golden Retriever pup who had an ample amount of excitement and regrettably less disclipine than I care to admit. He was patient and worked with Benjamin on training and ran with him as requested to help curb his youthful exuberance. I am very happy to recommend and have Cliff care for Benjamin again.”

Frances F.
“Frankie has taken such good care of my young rambunctious dog. They have been a reliable walker, providing active outdoor time for my 2 year old cattle dog mix, while I am at work 3-4 days a week. Bruiser is always excited to see them! And is tired and content when I come home from a long day.”

Alfredo C.

“I didn’t actually meet Alfredo when I dropped my puppy at his house, but his wife was awesome and he’s been super responsive and professional. Emily is a fantastic dog sitter! She watched my pup overnight, kept me updated with photos and messages, and made sure Roxy felt right at home. Her dog, Kibli, is super sweet and was such a fun (and gentle!) playmate, even though he’s much bigger than Roxy. I found Emily to be completely trustworthy and responsible, and it’s clear she genuinely enjoyed spending time with my dog. Roxy came home happy, well cared for, and tuckered out from all the playtime—I couldn’t ask for more!

I am extremely protective of my fur baby and thus picky when it comes to who I trust him with! I was so relieved when I found Jeremy this summer before starting back to teaching. I have peace of mind now because I know Jeremy is giving my dog Teddy great care and attention. Jeremy is a kind, thoughtful and positive person and also professional. Teddy is a smart dog who needs stimulation and he gets access to a bunch of toys which he picks through and chooses from! He also gets good work outs on his walks. He comes home tired and happy! I highly recommend Jeremy.

I highly recommend Paula for your dog care needs. As a registered nurse and neurotic dog mom, I’m very particular about who I will leave my dogs with. Both my babies have allergies with special food for each, need sunscreen and have behavioral quirks as they are brothers from the same litter. Paula has been great with me and my dogs- something I cannot say about every dog sitter on Rover. With my unpredictable schedule she has been very understanding of cancellations and time changes. They are so happy when they get to her place and tired and well stimulated when I pick them up. Thank you Paula! I am so grateful!

Lilly provided great care and comfort to my pet during his stay with her. She asked for all the details about my pet and his preferences, she also made every accomodation to ensure he had a safe and comfortable stay. She sent us photo updates and communicated often with great and detailed updates. Thank you Lilly, I felt very comfortable leaving my fur baby with you

Kenneth cared for our Rottweiler mix, Tahoe, on a last minute request! He was very knowledge and we instantly knew we could trust him with our rescue. He clearly understands dogs and loves them. He sent us updates and Tahoe enjoyed his time out in the patio & getting to know Maze. Reliable and truly caring!

Chanakarn and Jakree had been sitting our dog Socks for a couple of years now. We’re happy with their service. They are always around which is assuring given that our dog has separation anxiety issues. They always share pictures and updates frequently throughout the boarding. Highly recommend them.

We’re so grateful to Ashley for taking such great care of our pug, Baton! She stepped in last minute and was incredibly accommodating. Throughout the stay, she kept us updated and sent us the cutest pictures of Baton, which really helped us feel at ease while we were away. It was clear Baton was in great hands and got lots of love and attention. Highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable pet sitter! Thank you so much!
