House Sitting in Maytown

About: I have worked with dogs and all types of animals my whole life my last job I was a doggie daycare attendant and had up to 10 dogs in one group making sure they were happy and safe and was also a dog bather working with all breeds and sizes from Saint Bernard to chihuahuas. I also have been dog sitting for family and friends for a long time now. I'm currently not working at the moment so I'm available any day or time to dog or cat sit and can stay the night with them How I Keep Pets Safe and Take Care of Them As a dedicated and caring pet sitter, the safety, comfort, and happiness of the animals in my care are always my top priorities. Whether I’m watching over dogs, cats, or both, I treat each pet as if they were my own. For Dogs I follow their regular routine closely including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, and play. I use secure leashes and harnesses on walks and keep a close eye on surroundings to avoid any dangers like aggressive dogs or busy streets. I make sure they stay hydrated, well-fed, and have plenty of attention and exercise based on their energy level and age. I monitor for signs of stress, illness, or discomfort, and I’ll notify the owner right away if anything seems off. I keep doors and gates closed and locked at all times to prevent escapes. For Cats: I respect their individual personalities — giving shy cats space and attention when they’re ready, and playing with the more social ones. I keep litter boxes clean and ensure they have fresh water and food according to the owner’s instructions. I make sure indoor cats stay safely inside, and outdoor access (if allowed) is closely supervised. I give them cozy spots to relax and enrich their day with toys, brushing, or cuddles (if they enjoy it). For all pets, I maintain a calm, loving environment and stick to their normal schedule as much as possible to reduce stress while their owners are away. I also send regular updates and pictures so you know your pets are safe and happy.

About: I’ve grown up with pets! I’m flexible! And you can count on me to - notice small behavior changes - follow routines carefully - not overwhelm anxious or sensitive dogs - stay steady if something unexpected happens We have no dogs of our own at the moment so your pet will be the only one in the house which is great for any dogs who don’t play well with others (: and, our guests enjoy having a fenced in yard and space to run! I work a standard 8–5 during the week, so I intentionally schedule pet care around that. I’m available for morning and evening visits, weekends, and I plan ahead to make sure every pet’s routine is followed carefully and never rushed. I don’t have pets of my own, so I’m able to give my full attention to the pets I’m caring for. I also have a fenced-in yard at my home for safe outdoor play and exercise. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and focus on exercising pets appropriately, then helping them relax and settle in — often with some quiet time or just hanging out together. I aim to keep routines consistent and stress-free.

I work remotely, so thankfully I’m able to fit pet care naturally into my day. I’m around to make sure they’re cared for consistently—whether that’s walks, meals, playtime, potty breaks or anything else they might need. I’m intentional about the bookings I accept and only take on clients when I can provide their pets the level of care and attention they deserve.
