“I wish this app would let me give 10 stars because Katie was absolutely amazing with our boys and kitties! She sent me regular updates, pictures and videos! I knew they were in great hands with her and I think our golden boys might like her more than us now lol! I will be using her again whenever I can!”

“Thank you Rachel for taking care of our Doberman Max. We were in an Airbnb located in Orlando and she was able to take care of my boy. Also, we arrange an extra time and was late night and she was fine with it. Do not hesitate to contact her to take care of your four legged friends. :)”

About: I’ve grown up with pets! I’m flexible! And you can count on me to - notice small behavior changes - follow routines carefully - not overwhelm anxious or sensitive dogs - stay steady if something unexpected happens We have no dogs of our own at the moment so your pet will be the only one in the house which is great for any dogs who don’t play well with others (: and, our guests enjoy having a fenced in yard and space to run! I work a standard 8–5 during the week, so I intentionally schedule pet care around that. I’m available for morning and evening visits, weekends, and I plan ahead to make sure every pet’s routine is followed carefully and never rushed. I don’t have pets of my own, so I’m able to give my full attention to the pets I’m caring for. I also have a fenced-in yard at my home for safe outdoor play and exercise. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and focus on exercising pets appropriately, then helping them relax and settle in — often with some quiet time or just hanging out together. I aim to keep routines consistent and stress-free.
“We just booked Nicole to stay with our two labradors while we were out of state, and she did a wonderful job with them! She spent so much time with them, letting them to their usual puppy things like swimming in the pool, going for walks, and lounging. She sent photos and videos regularly, responded right away when messaged, and offered to drop in on the last day for potty break before we got home. We would absolutely recommend Nicole to anyone looking to have their furry family cared for!”

About: Hello all, I have a vast amount of experience within the animal industry. I have my bachelors degree in Animal Science and worked as a veterinary technician for many years. I absolutely love animals, big or small, and enjoy taking care of our “fur babies”. I have knowledge within senior care, puppy care, medication administration, cat and kitten care, litter box cleanliness, and more. I currently work from home, my schedule is whatever I make it to be. I am absolutely free to care for your pets in whatever way that you desire. No job is too big or too small. When taking care of your pets, I will take care of them just as my own. I am meticulous for owner care instructions and directions that “fur parents” leave. When in my home, your animal will be treated like my own, they will be allowed to play freely and have plenty of breaks for bathroom sessions. If a pet is not in my home, I will spend ample time with ones pet in their home and dedicate time throughout the day that allows the pet to feel enriched and comfortable while their parents are away.
“Ryeleigh stayed out our house for three nights to take care of our dog and cat. When we got home, they both seemed happy and were not stressed out at all that we had been gone. The house was clean and tidy and Ryeleigh even took the sheets off the bed and put them in the washer for us. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great house and pet sitter and we will definitely book her again!”

“We were very grateful to have Jennifer's help with our three pets while out of town (an adult dog, a puppy, and a cat). We appreciated her enthusiasm to be there for our pets, be a presence for our home while we were gone, and it gave us a lot of peace of mind. She was very communicative and respectful of our home, and she took good care of our animals. Thank you, Jennifer!”

“Calvin was wonderful! We have two dogs and he took care of them both! Followed all instructions that we had left him! Will definitely be booking him again for future dog drop ins / and house sitting! 10 stars of if I could!”

“Brianne was amazing with our chaotic, nutty furry bunch! We left her with our trio of cats and the dynamic duo of dogs, for a total of five. The first thing we noticed was how all of our furry ones were drawn to her. Animals just know if a person is good. Being away is hard, but it feels better when you have someone you can trust to love you while you're gone. My wife and I had complete peace of mind with her caring for our babies. Brianne is the BEST!”

“Serena has taken care of our babies with nothing but care and love! Fulfills all their neediness and energy levels. She loves the pups as if they were their own and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! 110% recommend.”

“Maria was great! She took great care of my golden (Wally), sent lots of pics, and provided excellent communication throughout her stay with him. I would fully recommend her and would not hesitate to have her stay with Wally again.”

“Carli took great care of our menagerie while we were away. Our two big dogs were happy and healthy when we got home. By the end of her stay the cats even started to come out for pets, which is no easy feat.”

“Ashland was AMAZING with my 16 month old Great Dane named George. I was so nervous as this was the first time we left him. Ashland was on time, reassuring and just so great with my pup! He is a bed dog and that was A ok with Ashland. He actually went and looked for her the next morning. Highly recommend Ashland!!”

About: I have had taken care of/lived with various dog breeds, and have walked and raised dogs since I can remember. I have volunteered at Alaqua walking and playing with dogs, and I have experience dog sitting and walking dogs via Rover and family connections. I have worked with puppies, middle aged dogs, older dogs, both big and small! I love dogs unconditionally and I will do everything in my power to ensure they stay spoiled and happy :). As of now, I am attending University of Central Florida, so I am willing to work around my classes and my work schedule once I find a stable job! I cannot care for pets at my own home, but I will ensure that when I come to your home, I will keep it looking good as new. I am a chronic dish washer if any dishes or slight cleaning needs to be made. I am also no stranger to accidents that dogs are prone to, as one of my past dogs had a sensitive stomach, especially when it came to my carpeted floors. I will do whatever your dog wants to do, but my favorite aspect of it all is to ensure that the dog is happy and to make a connection with them. I love being active and playing, but I can also just simply snuggle up with them.
“This was our first time using Kaylee and she was beyond fantastic! She regularly texted us and had pictures too. You can tell she really loves what she does. We will definitely be using her in the future!”

“I am thrilled to share my positive experience with Linda for the second time! Once again, she exceeded my expectations while taking care of my fur-babies. Linda is incredibly attentive and truly understands my dog's needs. She provided regular updates, shared cute photos and videos that made my time away so much easier. It was clear that my dog felt comfortable and happy, which is all I could ask for. Her dedication to ensuring my fur-baby was well cared for means the world to me. I can't recommend Linda enough! I have already booked her two more times.”

“Alyssah was great! She came by to meet Ranger and he seemed to be comfortable right away. She showed up on time, asked additional questions about Ranger's care and we were off for our weekend getaway! She sent us regular updates and lots of pictures. We could tell Ranger was taken with her as she sent a pic of him with his head on her lap! Ranger has a lot of anxiety and Alyssah seemed to be the perfect fit for him. She was able to easily give him his daily medication and she took him for his walks. When we got home Ranger was happy, and our home was in the same order as we left it. However, I do believe he was a bit sad that she left. Alyssah will definitely be our first choice on our next trip. She is clearly an animal lover and Ranger loved her back! Thank you so much, Alyssah!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Boden walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Boden maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Boden choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boden. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
