About: I have worked with dogs and all types of animals my whole life my last job I was a doggie daycare attendant and had up to 10 dogs in one group making sure they were happy and safe and was also a dog bather working with all breeds and sizes from Saint Bernard to chihuahuas. I also have been dog sitting for family and friends for a long time now. I'm currently not working at the moment so I'm available any day or time to dog or cat sit and can stay the night with them How I Keep Pets Safe and Take Care of Them As a dedicated and caring pet sitter, the safety, comfort, and happiness of the animals in my care are always my top priorities. Whether I’m watching over dogs, cats, or both, I treat each pet as if they were my own. For Dogs I follow their regular routine closely including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, and play. I use secure leashes and harnesses on walks and keep a close eye on surroundings to avoid any dangers like aggressive dogs or busy streets. I make sure they stay hydrated, well-fed, and have plenty of attention and exercise based on their energy level and age. I monitor for signs of stress, illness, or discomfort, and I’ll notify the owner right away if anything seems off. I keep doors and gates closed and locked at all times to prevent escapes. For Cats: I respect their individual personalities — giving shy cats space and attention when they’re ready, and playing with the more social ones. I keep litter boxes clean and ensure they have fresh water and food according to the owner’s instructions. I make sure indoor cats stay safely inside, and outdoor access (if allowed) is closely supervised. I give them cozy spots to relax and enrich their day with toys, brushing, or cuddles (if they enjoy it). For all pets, I maintain a calm, loving environment and stick to their normal schedule as much as possible to reduce stress while their owners are away. I also send regular updates and pictures so you know your pets are safe and happy.

“Alyssah was great! She came by to meet Ranger and he seemed to be comfortable right away. She showed up on time, asked additional questions about Ranger's care and we were off for our weekend getaway! She sent us regular updates and lots of pictures. We could tell Ranger was taken with her as she sent a pic of him with his head on her lap! Ranger has a lot of anxiety and Alyssah seemed to be the perfect fit for him. She was able to easily give him his daily medication and she took him for his walks. When we got home Ranger was happy, and our home was in the same order as we left it. However, I do believe he was a bit sad that she left. Alyssah will definitely be our first choice on our next trip. She is clearly an animal lover and Ranger loved her back!
