“Rachel is so amazing, I truly was so lucky to find her. She watched my two boys for a few days, from the 1st visit she jumped head first and went above and beyond for their care. I was at ease knowing they were in her hands, she kept me updated at every visit. I can’t sing her praises enough, she’s amazing at what she does and I couldn’t be happier with her as our sitter. We won’t use anyone else but Rachel for future visits!”

“Cynthia is awesome!! She arrived early and was very patient and friendly with my 2 shy cats. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family! There’s no one else I would trust ❤️”

“Second time booking shelley for drop ins with my kitties and everything went perfect per usual! always know my babies are taken care of with her & she leaves me with a stress free travel.”

“Kat was an excellent sitter for Truffle. She communicated well and took great care of his eating/potty needs. She shared notes and photos on the app cards. Would recommend and book again. Thank you!”

“My dog is a challenge to deal with. Emily was able to provide exactly the service I needed, and as a result my pet(s) were alive and well when I returned from a 10 day family trip out of state. Emily communicated well, and was always in touch. I would recommend her and will use her in the future.”

About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was a kid! I have been taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals for all of my adult life. I have experience with puppies as well. I am currently a student and have the summer free from in-person classes. I love to be outside in the hot summer sun in Florida so I would be excited to help your dog get the exercise and stimulation they need. I currently have a 1 and a half year old pit mix of my own and she is the absolute sweetest! I also have a 2 and a half year old rabbit who is the friendliest cuddle bug!

About: I have always loved animals, I have grown up with dogs, and I also have 2 cats! Although I don’t often pet sit, I have a lot of experience caring for dogs/cats throughout my own life and assure you I will treat your pets as one of my own! All of my pets have been rescues and some have had disabilities, so I have experience in navigating their behavior and mistrust towards others. My animals are like family to me and I know how nerve racking it is leaving them, so I promise to give your pets the best care while you are gone 💖 I’m currently a student on summer break working part-time! Because my schedule is flexible, there are times I can be available for last minute requests. I am very reliable and dependable! My pets are treated like family and are very well taken care of. My dog is a senior Bechon who has separation anxiety and cannot be alone for long periods of time. Hence, we frequently take him on walks or car rides. One of my cats requires daily medicine and the other is full of energy and loves to play. They are constantly near us to snuggle or receive our attention
“Tracy was terrific! She is very friendly and loves pets. She was by every day on time and was a huge help to us. I definitely recommend Tracy and I'll be happy for her to take care of our cats next time we go on a trip.”

“Sophia came by to meet us first and assisted me with the process. She responds quickly, checks in when she arrives, sends pictures and is patient with us while we learn the process. Yesterday was my first time leaving my dog with a stranger. I felt so confident, I didn’t worry about her at all!”

About: I have helped care for friends and families fur babies over the years. Bathing, babysitting, walking i have done it all for them. I’ve also 🥰 and care for my own dogs. Currently traveling the country in an RV. I would love to help our neighbors in campgrounds who need their pets let out or walked while out of their camper. Looking to work for neighbors in campgrounds who need assistance with letting dogs out to dog park, or go for walk, or just spending time with them.

“This was our second time using Caren & Patrick J. and they delivered yet again! They took care of our naked kitty Phil great and we love the photo updates! Thanks again you guys!”

About: I have taken care of horses and dogs almost all my life. I currently have 2 black labs of my own who I consider to be my children. I grew up in the saddle and have taken care of 5-6 horses at a time, per day. Along with the horses, there has been plenty of dog experience along the way. I helped our barn dog deliver her puppies with success when I was 15, and raised 5 puppies from her litter, with the help of my family. I feel with my large animal experience that this makes me equipped to take care of small animals. I love and adore dogs so much, and would be willing to do anything to make your fur babies happy! :) I’m currently working full time 8 to 5, Monday to Friday, anytime before 8 and after 5 works for me, and I have weekends available! :) I can come in and water/feed your pets, play with them, give plenty of snuggles, and take them for walks. I would be willing to stay overnight, as well, but prior notice is needed as I am only available on weekends and I have a baby.
“She was amazing!! So helpful. Great communication throughout our vacation. Took excellent care of our baby!! Rebel really liked her. Will continue to use her every time we vacation in the future”

“Anna was amazing! My dog ended up getting sick right after I left and Anna did an amazing job taking care of him and never hesitated to step up to the job. Super grateful for her amazing communication as I was in the Dominican Republic and didn't have great service. Really great to see pictures of him and getting updates as I was super nervous and not there.”
About: I love all animals, but dogs truly have my heart ❤️. My beloved miniature pinscher, my “Hopper Dog,” was my world. I raised him from a tiny puppy, and we shared 16 amazing years together filled with walks, talks, dancing, cuddles, and unconditional love. I miss him every day, and he is the reason I have such a deep appreciation for the special bond we share with our furry companions. I have years of experience caring for dogs with all types of needs, including special dietary requirements, medications, shots, treats, while giving lots of love, hugs, and attention. I enjoy being a trusted part of a dog’s life and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Over the years, I have cared for many friends’ furry babies through drop-in visits, potty breaks, walks, boarding, and in-home sitting. I am grateful to have wonderful clients who trust me with their furry loves! I truly enjoy spending time with each and every one of them and care for them as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and health challenges. I am dependable, honest, trustworthy, and committed to providing compassionate care and plenty of love. I would love the opportunity to welcome more furry clients into my life. I have so much love to give, and I can’t wait to meet your special companion! 💗🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I love providing walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and lots of love and attention. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 978 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Creighton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Creighton. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
