I also have hands-on experience assisting with whelping multiple litters, including breeds like French Bulldogs and Bernese Mountain Dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications and am happy to follow any specific care routines your dog requires. Beyond dogs, I bring a wide range of animal care experience from growing up on a small farm. I’ve cared for chickens, pigs, sheep, llamas, peacocks, and rabbits, as well as reptiles like lizards and snakes. About: From a very young age, caring for animals has been a natural part of my life. When I was eight years old, I started small home-placement program for pets abandoned along rural roads, making sure they found safe, loving homes. With the help of a local veterinarian, I also cared for injured wildlife-nursing animals hit by cars to health and raising many of their orphaned babies. I’m happy to walk, play with, and feed your pets, and I’m comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather as long as your pet is, too. I don’t mind helping with cleanup—whether that’s backyard potty messes, litter boxes, or small‑animal cages—so your pet’s space stays fresh and comfortable while you’re away. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping everything as familiar and consistent as possible. I follow your pet’s normal routine closely—mealtimes, walks, playtime, medications, and comfort habits—so their day feels predictable and stress‑free. I take time to learn their cues, respect their boundaries, and match their energy, whether they need quiet companionship or active engagement. About: I have had pets my entire life and have been pet sitting for around 10 years! I’ve cared for high energy breeds such as GSPs, senior dogs, behaviorally-difficult dogs, and everything in between. I am a graduate student with a rather flexible schedule. Other than a 2-hour obligation on Friday afternoons, I am able to make time for pets when they need it. I do not offer care in my own home but I do provide it in the pet’s home. I find that pets are more comfortable in their own space and often adjust better when going about their routine with someone else if they remain in a familiar environment. I follow instructions for entering and exiting (garage vs. front door, key vs. code, checking-in on camera system, etc.), ensure all pets are safely secured in the home before leaving, and follow any explicit instructions left for me. I do my very best to ensure the pet’s routine is followed thoroughly.

I am open to caring for exotic pets such as guinea pigs, as I have had two in the past. I am open to drop in visits and dog walking. About: I have had dogs as a family pet since 2008. Currently have 2 dogs who are very loved and spoiled to death 😊 I started off dog sitting for a family member in 2019 with a senior dog, and then a puppy a couple years later. I have also house/pet sit for a family friend for the past few years as well. They have 4 dogs (ranging from 15 lbs to 100+ lbs) and 3 cats. I have a good rapport with both groups and can provide references if needed! I also have experience with sitting a 1 cat household as well for one of my friends. In my household, my sisters and I have potty-trained and skill-trained every one of our family pets (we have had 4 now). I have experience with giving pets medications as they need following the owner’s specific instructions. Lastly, I have walked dogs of all kinds of sizes (miniature pinscher all the way to a Great Pyrenees). I look forward to helping you with your pet needs!! I’m currently working full time Monday-Friday from 10am-7pm. I work at a pretty lenient place that gives me lunch breaks up to an hour and a half long, so in the past if a pet I have watched needs a potty break midday, I can go back on my lunch break to do so. I have availability after getting off from this job as well, so I can accommodate to late nights as well. I don’t work weekends there so I have pretty much open availability every weekend. 😊 I currently live at home with my parents and sisters, so I do not offer pet sitting at my home at this time. I have pet sat for people in different home styles (apartment, single-level home with small yard, two-story home with big yard). I have always followed every owner’s instructions and rules to a T. Updates always! I like to send pictures and text messages updating owners how the pet is doing and what activities we do. I always greet the pets first and I like to greet with a preferred snack of pet and owners choice . Checking if need food or water / refreshing water bowls and scheduled feedings . Letting them outside to use restroom and a small play session with their pick of toy / activity . Giving praise and a treat . Lots more love before leaving and I always like to give them a favorite toy or sometimes owner have preferred going away treats when they leave the house. Gives a pet comfort and distraction when leaving.
