Hi! Thanks for visiting my page! My name is Jess Urban Rickels. I am the founder, owner & CEO of the Pet & Plant Nanny LLC, License & Insured. As a women owned small business, my mission is to ensure Happy Pets, Healthy Plants & Relaxed You! I love working with all animals; dogs, cats, bunnies, rodents, birds, fish, reptiles ect. My home currently consists of two dogs! My husband & I adopted our oldest Male Boston Terrier at 3 months old & is a true representation of the breed, now at 1.5 years old. Our little girl Bonnie is the newest & sweetest Boston Terrier addition to the family. She is only 11lbs at the age of now 5 months! She is cuddly, playful with a lot more growing to do! Our first Boston Terrier Hagen, may he RIP, lived the royal life of a true gentleman from 8/2014-8/2025. Throughout my life I have owned dogs, cats, birds, fish & rodents. I have been in the pet care industry, working with animals of all sizes and ages, for the last 15 years! I am able work on basic training & socialization, as well as, attending appointments (additional fees may apply). I know dog/cat CPR, as well as the Heimlich Maneuver. I appreciate you taking the time getting to know me! I am super excited to meet my new pawed, clawed & feathered friends! See you soon!

Safety, trust & environment
I have had a variety in sizes and breeds of dogs growing up! My current fur babies are Boston Terriers; Older brother is 11 years old & younger brother is 9 months old . They are spoiled with healthy limited ingredient food, variety of fueling snacks, interactive toys, play time, & comand/walk training. This keeps them physically healthy as well as mentally stimulated! I also have a fenced in yard for safe outside free play & socialization.

If I could give more than 5⭐️, i would. She is very attentive to my cats and communicates extensively.
Jess did an amazing job with our animals. They were well taken care of care of while we were out of town and with this being the first time using Jess she surpassed our expectations. We will be using her again for sure.
Jess was wonderful when taking care of my cats. She took lots of pictures and was able to quickly charm my shy cat out of hiding. I will not hesitate to use her again when leaving town.
We always appreciate Jess watching our boy, Anubis. He seems to really enjoy her company!
Jess does a great job with Willie! He looks forward to getting to see his friend for a midday visit 🤗 🐾

Schedule
I have the ability to be flexible due to having control of my own work schedules, as well as a clean valid drivers license & reliable transportation. Additionally, I am available Week & Weekends with same day requests!

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I should tend to or keep an eye on. Any triggers, limitations or allergies should also be mentioned ahead of time. If any grooming or vet visits are needed - I am happy to make the visit with them!
