I’m also available for recurring weekday drop-ins for pets who benefit from consistency while their owners are at work. I maintain a consistent daytime schedule for client visits, errands, and recurring drop-ins, similar to a standard workday. For house sitting, this means your pet may be alone for short periods during the day while I attend to other scheduled visits, but I plan my time to ensure they receive regular care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I also offer complimentary meet and greets in advance so we can connect, review your pet’s routine, and make sure it’s a good fit before your booking begins! I do not board pets in my own home at this time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and environment to help reduce stress while you're away. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter care, playtime, and any preferences that help your pet feel comfortable. I also make sure they have access to their favorite toys, treats, and familiar comfort items throughout my visits or stay. For dogs, I’m happy to reinforce any training commands or routines owners are currently working on to help maintain consistency. My goal is to provide attentive, in-home care that helps your pet feel safe and secure in their own space until you return, whether through house sitting or drop-in visits!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was young. I have pet sat for my friends, family and some of our neighbors. I have two dogs and a tortoise. I love working with animals and seeing their personalities. I have experience working with cats and dogs. I’m am currently working part time, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available on week days and weekends. At my job my shifts are 5 hours. I am very reliable with any accommodation that your pet might need. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and life stages, from newborn puppies to seniors needing extra care. I also have hands-on experience assisting with whelping multiple litters, including breeds like French Bulldogs and Bernese Mountain Dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications and am happy to follow any specific care routines your dog requires. Beyond dogs, I bring a wide range of animal care experience from growing up on a small farm. I’ve cared for chickens, pigs, sheep, llamas, peacocks, and rabbits, as well as reptiles like lizards and snakes. I’ve also looked after more unique pets, including chinchillas, skunks, sugar gliders, fish, and more. No matter the animal, I’m dedicated to providing attentive, compassionate care. I will always do my very best to meet your pet’s individual needs and keep you reassured every step of the way while you’re away! I currently work from home. While some days I find myself to be busier than others it is quite easy to step away from my computer if needed during the day. & if needed I would typically just take my computer with me for a longer visit. I just ask that you have wifi and that I may be able to access it if necessary! Since I have 2 pets of my own already with my husband, I would prefer to care for your animals in your personal home where they will be most comfortable!

About: Hello Hello Hello! My name is Rue. I am an office dweller with an affinity for dogs. My crew consists of an 8-year-old bully who, like his mother, is a lover of dogs of all sizes and ages. My muffin, a 5-year-old patterdale terrier, who has never met a mouse she couldn’t catch. Lastly, My Pup, a 9-month old shepherd mix who hates to see me relaxing lol. Professionally, I have worked with Animals on and off since my undergrad days. I started out years ago working as a kennel hand at a shelter while home from college on summer break. After that I just couldn’t let it go. More recently, I was employed as a dog walker for a pet care company in Chicago where I also cared for cats and rabbits. After that, I became a certified explosive detection K9 handler. Since then, I have worked in City run animal Shelters caring for all types of animals. I am the person who shows up at the party and ends up hanging out with the dog. In case you were wondering, I also have experience administering meds and vaccinations. I am experienced in all avenues of pet care, especially fun! Whether you have a laid-back baby who enjoys a slow scenic walk or a super charged machine who has some pep in its step, your pet will be well taken care of and will return home ready for a nap. Im currently working full time and making a career transition to dog training. I will be walking dogs mostly in the evenings during the week and all day on the weekends! I treat all pets as if they were my own. They are living creatures who deserve respect. I always lead with that sentiment when handling any animal. With that being said, I don't let my personal beliefs get in the way of the services I am rendering. The client's wishes come first when handling their pet. Tool usage, feeding schedules, etc will all be at the guidance of the client.

About: Hello! I’m Marie! I have been an animal lover since I can remember and I’ve had pets since the age of 5. As a young adult, I do have friends and family that ask me to watch their pets for them when they’re away. Walking, feeding and quality time are all areas I do well in! I personally have a few pets of my own including exotics and have no issue caring for reptiles or arachnids. Axolotls, rats and rabbits are a few of the pets I have owned and cared for. I also have cats, a dog, birds and tarantulas! They all deserve the upmost care and love. So if you need someone experienced in all animals, I’m your girl! I currently work from 4pm-12am Sunday through Thursday. I am always willing and able to make sure clients are taken care of before or after work. I always follow what the owner wants. Lists are my best friend when it comes to precise things when caring for other’s animals. Routine is important as well. I walk my dog throughout the day and my cats are pretty low maintenance. I am exceptional with following your day to day routines and expectations.

I have bowls, leashes and some toys, but I do ask that you please bring their crate if they are crate trained and any toys/items that will make them feel more at home.
