About: Pre vet student, who cares for animal well-being. Years of experience with dogs, cats, and horses. I have had a pet all my life. I am open all days of the week, plenty of time to take care of your pets. I am home everyday and taking care of my dog and can do the same for you. “Emily is fantastic! I was a little anxious about leaving my 17 year old cat, who takes awhile to warm up to people, but Emily worked her cat whisperer charm! Both cats were happy, calm, and well loved while we were away. Emily sent loving pictures and updates, and it was so nice to come home to calm kitties. She is thoughtful, responsive, and reliable. We will definitely book with Emily again!”

“I’ve been relying on Megan for at least a year now and she’s been absolutely great. One of our dogs struggles with overnight boarding, and Megan has been a game changer for us. We’ve never had any issues with her and she’s been available pretty much anytime I ask her. Would highly recommend her to anyone interested in rover!”

About: Hello! My name is Sarah. I live in Perrysburg, OH with my ten year old son. While I love my career, I also have a love for animals and am thrilled to be able to share my time caring for and spoiling your pups while you are away! Thank you so much for considering us to be a part of your pup's life! I work outside of the home during the week with open availability during the weekend! Frequent walks and play time would be in the AM and PM daily 🙂 I primarily offer boarding in my home. I have bowls, leashes and some toys, but I do ask that you please bring their crate if they are crate trained and any toys/items that will make them feel more at home.
“We wanted to give our recently adopted puppy consistency, and after the first visit, we decided that Letty was perfect as our regular sitter from now on. She’s very nice and super loving and patient with our puppy. She even cleaned our house after our little escape artist made a mess of it. Both our puppy and our older dog love her. I am so relieved to have found someone I fully trust with my puppies and my home.”

About: Hello Hello Hello! My name is Rue. I am an office dweller with an affinity for dogs. My crew consists of an 8-year-old bully who, like his mother, is a lover of dogs of all sizes and ages. My muffin, a 5-year-old patterdale terrier, who has never met a mouse she couldn’t catch. Lastly, My Pup, a 9-month old shepherd mix who hates to see me relaxing lol. Professionally, I have worked with Animals on and off since my undergrad days. I started out years ago working as a kennel hand at a shelter while home from college on summer break. After that I just couldn’t let it go. More recently, I was employed as a dog walker for a pet care company in Chicago where I also cared for cats and rabbits. After that, I became a certified explosive detection K9 handler. Since then, I have worked in City run animal Shelters caring for all types of animals. I am the person who shows up at the party and ends up hanging out with the dog. In case you were wondering, I also have experience administering meds and vaccinations. I am experienced in all avenues of pet care, especially fun! Whether you have a laid-back baby who enjoys a slow scenic walk or a super charged machine who has some pep in its step, your pet will be well taken care of and will return home ready for a nap. Im currently working full time and making a career transition to dog training. I will be walking dogs mostly in the evenings during the week and all day on the weekends! I treat all pets as if they were my own. They are living creatures who deserve respect. I always lead with that sentiment when handling any animal. With that being said, I don't let my personal beliefs get in the way of the services I am rendering. The client's wishes come first when handling their pet. Tool usage, feeding schedules, etc will all be at the guidance of the client.
About: I'm available to walk your dog, care for your cat, and simply provide love. I have cared for my personal animals for over 20 years and know how important our animals are to our daily lives. They provide people with the daily love and support needed and they are the face that greets you when you walk through the door each day. I'm currently working full time, but have the ability to walk after 4 each day, weekends multiple times per day, off on holidays, and flexible summers. I walk every day, so why not walk your dog or stop in to visit your cat! I raised a dog for 18 years who recently passed. In her late years, I was caring for all her needs. I also had two cats and managed the feeding and changing of the box
“I would highly recommend Gemma to care for your pets. She arrived on time for the meet and greet visit and also was timely with the drop-in visit. She loves animals and is dedicated in her role at Rover.”

About: I would say what sets me apart is I’ve had special training incase of any type of emergency or mishap. I am a very forgiving person also. My schedule is fairy open so I have time to fit most a lot of things in. One of which is taking care of animals I most walk them at the park or play with animals in my house. My home can fit 1-2 dogs or 3 cats at a time
“Samantha was great with communication and pictures. We had a last minute request which Samantha was very flexible with and will absolutely be adding Samantha into our normal rotation of Rovers when we travel. Highly recommend!”

“Natalie was great! Kept great communication before and during her visits. Really grateful she was able to check on the cats and the house for us!! Would definitely recommend. Thanks again!”

About: Hi! I’m Krystal, and I’ve been providing in-home pet care for over 13 years. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and multi-pet households, including senior pets and those requiring medication or more structured routines. After caring for my own senior dogs, I understand how important it is to know your pets are in safe, capable hands while you’re away. I aim to provide dependable, in-home care that keeps your pets comfortable, calm, and cared for in their own environment. I’m also available for recurring weekday drop-ins for pets who benefit from consistency while their owners are at work. Pet care is my full-time focus, and I structure my days around the needs and routines of the pets in my care. I maintain a consistent daytime schedule for client visits, errands, and recurring drop-ins, similar to a standard workday. For house sitting, this means your pet may be alone for short periods during the day while I attend to other scheduled visits, but I plan my time to ensure they receive regular care, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I also offer complimentary meet and greets in advance so we can connect, review your pet’s routine, and make sure it’s a good fit before your booking begins! I do not board pets in my own home at this time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and environment to help reduce stress while you're away. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter care, playtime, and any preferences that help your pet feel comfortable. I also make sure they have access to their favorite toys, treats, and familiar comfort items throughout my visits or stay. For dogs, I’m happy to reinforce any training commands or routines owners are currently working on to help maintain consistency. My goal is to provide attentive, in-home care that helps your pet feel safe and secure in their own space until you return, whether through house sitting or drop-in visits!
About: Hi, I’m Kara! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and while I have experience with all kinds of pets, dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have two dogs of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets, they’re family. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and life stages, from newborn puppies to seniors needing extra care. I also have hands-on experience assisting with whelping multiple litters, including breeds like French Bulldogs and Bernese Mountain Dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications and am happy to follow any specific care routines your dog requires. Beyond dogs, I bring a wide range of animal care experience from growing up on a small farm. I’ve cared for chickens, pigs, sheep, llamas, peacocks, and rabbits, as well as reptiles like lizards and snakes. I’ve also looked after more unique pets, including chinchillas, skunks, sugar gliders, fish, and more. No matter the animal, I’m dedicated to providing attentive, compassionate care. I will always do my very best to meet your pet’s individual needs and keep you reassured every step of the way while you’re away! I currently work from home. While some days I find myself to be busier than others it is quite easy to step away from my computer if needed during the day. & if needed I would typically just take my computer with me for a longer visit. I just ask that you have wifi and that I may be able to access it if necessary! Since I have 2 pets of my own already with my husband, I would prefer to care for your animals in your personal home where they will be most comfortable!
“Isabel was wonderful and saved me on such short notice. Fed my dog, let him out, treated him, gave him love and petting. Sent me updates and pics of all of her visits! Highly recommended!”

About: I helped raise and train my childhood dog for 14 years, and have fostered a great array of dogs throughout the years. From puppy to senior, and from turtles and fish, I have had it all! I currently am working on some university research, so I have a very flexible schedule that can adhere to you and your pet’s needs and wants! While I am unable to house pets in my own home, I am a polite and clean guest in yours, if sitting is necessary! I hope to cultivate safety, trust and love with both pet and owner 💝

Autumn was absolutely wonderful with our Berneses over the 4th! It can be difficult leaving your furry babies, but Autumn put my mind at ease. She knew exactly how to handle all their little quirks and mannerisms. She also timely, communicative, and kind. We look forward to having her back again soon💛🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
