About: I’ve recently grown to love taking care of dogs. The mindset I had when I walked into my first dog sitting job is not the mindset I have today. I felt nervous of the responsibility and risk, but now, I am confident, the playfulness of dogs in general lowers the stress of the job! Overall, besides my class schedules, I can make availability open! My home is normally not an option for care due to young children present. In client’s homes, I remain present at the house all day unless an important matter comes up, I will temporarily leave, not for long. I like to include playtime, keep the dogs busy and make sure they behave using tactics with treats. I prefer to stick to a consistent schedule throughout the days such as specific feeding times, time of day to walk the dogs, and any house maintenance schedules I should be aware of.
