“Honestly I was a little nervous about having someone in my home to take care of my fur babies. We set up a meet and greet with Josh, and before he left that evening my husband and I felt much better about leaving on our trip. Josh did all the things that needed to be done, and then some. He was so good with our rescue dog who is afraid of everybody and everything except for us. Then once my cat came out of hiding, it was just as good to him as he was to Annie. If I could give him a 10 out of 10, I would. Thank you, Josh for helping my husband and I feel safe leaving our pets with you.”

About: As a previous pet hotel employee, I can say that animal caretaking is one of my favorite things to do. I grew up with numerous pets in my household and providing for them was part of my daily chores. I also had pets in my college home and I was always happy to help feed, play with and take care of those pets. I briefly took care of my families adopted dog, Atlas, before he went to live full time on the family farm. During that time, I was responsible for all care. Including lots of walks and tummy rubs! I work from home full time so my schedule is very flexible! I am able to take breaks in between meetings to let them go potty, give them so play time and more. I have a fenced in yard so your dog would be free to run around outside! I also have a backyard camera for extra security.

“I can’t recommend Alexa enough! We were already out of state when a severe snowstorm was forecasted. She ended up staying snowed in at our house for several days to take care of our pets. My pets love her, even my very shy cat! I really appreciate how great she is at communicating. She kept me updated with pictures and videos, and made sure to let me know her plans and timing. On top of everything, she left the house in fantastic condition. I’m so thankful for her and would absolutely trust her with my pets again.”
