I had a very last minute change of plans and she was able to host my pup the next morning. 3 acres of fenced yard is just heaven for dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup there! I understand the needs of both energetic youngsters and gentle seniors, and treat every pet as if they were my own. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. I live in an apartment so | don't have a yard for your pup to play in but I'll take your dog on walks very often and I personally take my dog to the dog park very regularly and would love to take yours too if you'd like.

About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.

About: I have spent most of my life around dogs. As an only child my siblings were two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. As an adult I have always had at least one dog in the house and more often than not two. They are my babies, my best friends and my companions. I am currently a high school teacher which allows me to have the summer free to spend with my critters as well as yours. I am almost always available at least until August. When spending a day with me and my own fur babies your companion will have access to a backyard. Get at least one good outing/run in and have two medium sized playmates to keep them entertained. I also have the ability to crate your friend if need be.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, and I am a responsible cat owner. I work at home and will be available to give your pet the care they deserve :) I work from home, so I am very flexible. I can come to your place, your pet can be housed at mine, or I can come walk your dog at odd hours of the day. I have a 2-bedroom apartment to myself, and I currently have a sweet cat named Trufflepig who is 3 and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can easily be separated if your pup or kitty doesn’t like other animals. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly with a park close by and a fenced in yard a block away where your dog can run.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have a flexible schedule and am available to look after your fur babies day and/or night, including day care, drop ins, boarding and house sitting. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.
