“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

Generally, I’d highly recommend Nick & Rebecca and would use again. The only challenge is that they are located far from most of the day’s activities in the island so just plan properly. Being close to the ferry made it easy to prepare to leave after our time.”

“Tami was fantastic. By coincidence, the first day we took our dog to Tami's place, there had been several inches of snow the night before. There was a small hill on the way to her house thaty sedan wasn't able to handle in those conditions. I let her know we were having trouble getting to her, and she drove out to meet us. Then she did the same when we came to pick our pup up from her. Really went the extra mile for us, and it was very much appreciated. Our dog came home happy and tired, and we'll definitely be going to Tami again in the future.”

She was quick to get in touch with me after my initial request and very flexible with my schedule. Clooney's tail wags nonstop as soon as we pull into her driveway, and he seems to forget about me the minute we walk through the door! Roxanne sends periodic texts and pictures throughout the day, which I also love. My mind is always at ease once I drop Clooney off at Roxanne's house, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Anacortes and Oak Harbor area!”

About: Hi! I’m Clara! 🐾 I’ve been caring for animals for over 5 years, and loving them for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by cats and dogs, and caring for them was always one of my favorite parts of the day. I’ve even had the unique experience of helping rescue an owl! I have a Bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and spent the past 3 years working at a local elementary school, where I was trusted with the care and well-being of children every day. That experience has taught me to be patient, attentive, responsible, and, most importantly, to meet each individual’s needs. I’ve also been trusted by family, friends, and Rover families to care for their pets in all kinds of situations—from overnight stays and walks to drop-in visits, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I am available both weekends and weekdays, I'm a morning person as well, so I don't mind an early morning with a pet. It is imperative that your animals feel safe and comfortable around me, so I will meet them where they're at. I don't force connections, and I will always make sure that they know I am a safe human to be around. Routines and schedules are important, as well as being able to read an animals cues and understand what they need in that moment. I can provide that for your pet.

About: i have loved animals ever since i was a kid and have had cats my whole life. Before i got my current dog i always wanted to watch my friends and families dogs. i have been officially watching dogs and cats for two years now and have met so many amazing cuties! i love the dog park and will take your pups without a doubt! i’m currently a freshman and western washington university with only 2 classes a day so every weekday (especially my evenings) should be open for walks and stop bye. if more is needed i can make room in my schedule! if you have a yard i will always keep watch if i am letting the dog out and keep a good eye on walks as well. i care for these pets as much as myself and want them to feel comfortable in my presence.

About: I adore dogs and would love to help out with yours! I have had my dog, Tank, for about 8 years now. I love to take him on walks and throw a ball with him. If you have any specific requests or if your dog has a specific schedule, I’m more than happy to accommodate! I’m a college student but I do have some flexibility and I can try my best to work with you and meet your needs. I am extra free on my school breaks too! I can make any type of adjustments so your dog is happy and comfortable. Do they have a strict schedule for food or walks? I can make sure that that routine remains. I have a medium sized dog at home (about 20 pounds) I make sure to exercise him everyday, even if it’s just for a quick walk near my apartment so exercising your dog is something I’m always happy to do.

About: I have babysat many of my friends pets. I like to take them on walks because not only do they get their exercise I also get mine.
