About: I’ve loved and lived with dogs and cats my entire life and can’t imagine a home without animals. As a longtime healthcare professional and nurse, caregiving comes naturally to me, and I’m attentive to the subtle changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and comfort that can tell us how an animal is doing. About: I have been pet sitting for the a couple years, caring for both dogs and cats in a variety of settings. I have experience with multi-dog households, including overnight stays for over a week as well as shorter visits, holiday stays, play dates and walks. My experience includes walks, drop in care, feeding and meal routines, administering medications, avoiding pet allergies and of course playtime! I have dog sat for puppies less than two months old to senior dogs with mobility issues who need extra care, diets and sensitivity. About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.
