About: I grew up on a farm and have always been surrounded by animals of all kinds. I’ve had lifelong experience caring for pets, especially dogs and cats. I provide loving, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I handle all care personally. I am recently retired and want to stay active. I have two adult daughters who are active on Rover, walking and boarding dogs in Seattle and Tucson. I live on a 300-acre farm in Custer, WA, where I grew up with dogs of all different breeds. Later in life, I raised a black lab from a pup. Her name was Keela; she was very smart and lovable and lived to be 14 years old. Pets in my care receive constant supervision, regular exercise, and a calm, clean environment. I care for each pet myself and prioritize safety, comfort, and trust.

I have made organic, whole dog food for several years, including treats, so I can support specific / strict diets or needs. I’m here to be your partner in pet care while you focus on other life priorities! I have extensive experience with dogs who have special needs, including epilepsy, as well as puppies and senior dogs. Gratefully, I set my own hours and schedule so I am able to be available during morning and working hours. I love walking, brushing, feeding and/or playing with pups while their companions are away for work or travel. Safety is my #1 priority for your pup in order to ensure that you have peace of mind when you're away - whether that's for part of the day or extended time while traveling. I believe that creating a safe environment is somewhat unique for each pet, depending on their needs, so it's something I assess and take into account each time I care for a new pet.
