I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“Dolly is so kind and always takes such good care of our special needs dog. We have used Dolly twice now and already have her booked for a 3rd stay. Super pleased with the care our dogs get with Dolly.”

“Adrienne took such great care of our dog Lyra! We were really happy to know she was with someone who was responsible, caring, and friendly. We appreciated the regular updates and knowing that our dog was well looked after while we were on vacation. Adrienne and her family were really sweet to Lyra and we’d happily rebook again.”

“Clara took great care of our dog! It was so nice to hear updates from her about their day and activities. In addition to the great care and attention she gave our dog, she was great communicator for planning and throughout the my dog’s stay. I will definitely ask her to dog sit again in the future!”

“Cade was a fantastic Rover. He was on top of his communication, has a great property that our dog was able to enjoy, and was really flexible. I would highly recommend Cade to watch your dog and will be rebooking next time we need a rover.”

“The best dog minder ever. Our Toby loves playing with Archie and gets excited when I mention going over to stay with him. Holly has become almost family to us. Very reliable, friendly.”

About: I adore dogs and would love to help out with yours! I have had my dog, Tank, for about 8 years now. I love to take him on walks and throw a ball with him. If you have any specific requests or if your dog has a specific schedule, I’m more than happy to accommodate! I’m a college student but I do have some flexibility and I can try my best to work with you and meet your needs. I am extra free on my school breaks too! I can make any type of adjustments so your dog is happy and comfortable. Do they have a strict schedule for food or walks? I can make sure that that routine remains. I have a medium sized dog at home (about 20 pounds) I make sure to exercise him everyday, even if it’s just for a quick walk near my apartment so exercising your dog is something I’m always happy to do.
“Barley had a nice stay with Leslie and has returned to me happy and well cared for. Leslie’s place is a good find: lots of fenced outdoor area and opportunity for dogs to socialize. I definitely plan to use her services again!”

“Kelsey and family are a lovely home for our little Yorkie. I appreciate having a local, quality dog sitting arrangement. I have no hesitation recommending Kelsey as a pet companion and home sitting service.”

“Kristyn was such a great dog sitter and very flexible and helpful when we had to change plans due to a flight cancellation. Our dog was in good hands. Really appreciate her!”

“Lizz was fantastic with my cat, Artemis! She took such great care of her on our trip and was very communicative the whole time. I will 100% go back to Lizz for future cat sitting! Thanks, Lizz!”

“She was absolutely wonderful! Attentive, communicative, and so thoughtful about sending pictures of my kitties, just as I’d asked. One of my cats decided to take it upon himself to demolish a potted plant while I was away, and Willow cleaned up the whole mess without hesitation—and rescued my plant. When I got home, both of my kitties were happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I can’t recommend her enough and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Emily did a drop-in visit for my two cats, and impressed me with her responsiveness and attention to detail. The care instructions were followed to the letter and she was great at keeping me informed about and documenting her visit. I look forward to having Emily care for my cats in the future when I'm out of town!”

“Camille was very kind, thoughtful, responsive, and reliable. This was my first Rover experience, but Camille made me feel very comfortable leaving my fur baby Mocha in her hands. Mocha warmed up to her instantly, and from the pictures and messages Camille sent, I could tell they had a great time together. I’m so happy Mocha had someone like Camille checking in while I was away.”

“We are so thankful we found Jenna!! She is an absolute doll, so sweet & so easy to work with! Her communication is excellent, it’s clear she loves animals & she cares about doing the best possible job! I would highly recommend booking with her - you will not be disappointed! We’ll be using her again, without a doubt!”

“Thank you so much for being flexible and able to watch my cat somewhat last minute! Alena was very quick to respond and kept me in the know with her check in visits. I could rely on her to take care of everything!”

“As always, Braelyn was amazing! This is the second time she’s watched my cats, and she did a great job with them, including giving my senior kitty his medication. My cats are always so happy to see her and it’s clear she takes good care of them!”

“Another fabulous stay from Cady. Regular updates showing happy cats, thoughtful communication, and care taken for both our home and our fur babies. Cady is our go-to sitter!”

“Darien was great with my senior cat! I felt very comfortable leaving her to care for him and give him his thyroid pill every day. I will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have been cat-sitting for neighbors and friends for many years. After getting my first cat 1.5 years ago, I developed a much deeper understanding for their needs, methods of play, and strong personalities. I have fostered cats for a local organization, which made me familiar working with cats of all ages, health needs, and temperaments. I have a sassy cat myself so I understand that all cats don't want to be picked up by random strangers, but I will do my best do give yours as much attention and playtime as they want.

“Morgan was punctual and communicative. Took great care of my 12 week old puppy during a drop-in visit. We met beforehand to make a plan and she made my wife and I feel so comfortable leaving our pup in her care as this was our first time using Rover. Went the extra mile to make sure our other pet was secure and that the house was locked and lights were on.”

“I’m really happy with Jessica! My dog Luna loves her coming and walking her! I appreciate her coming at short notice! I’ve had to stop and start service and she is always happy to come back! I appreciate her pictures and extra service like making sure Luna has water! Thank you so much for making me comfortable with someone else taking care of my spoiled hyper pup”

“Lia is the best! She’s been our go to for drop in visits while we’re out of town for a couple years now. We have some non-traditional care instructions and even if we go months between trips she’s always dialed in and knows exactly how to care for our kitty. She’s super dependable and we are so lucky to have her!”

“Sophia was fantastic! One of my cats got so stressed missing us that he ended up having blood in his urine - she spotted it and communicated to me right away so we could get him to a vet and get meds. She was a great communicator and clearly very sweet and caring with my boys. I will definitely book her again! Thank you!”

“Jennifer was great! Very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. Coast had such a great time hanging out with other dogs and had plenty of room to run and play”

“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Addison! He was friendly and communicative during pickup, drop off, and during care. When I picked up I could tell Puck had a wonderful time and Addison shared fun stories about his day. I'm planning to use him as a regular sitter for my pup!”

“Alexis is the best! My girl came home from daycare so tired and happy from playing with the other pups. Pick up and drop off is so convenient also, and allows for a worry-free day.”

About: Hi, I'm Irene :)! I'm an all around animal lover, but especially dogs. I have a husky named Nova, so I have experience caring for and understanding dogs and cats of different personalities (huskies are part cat too, right?). I love spending time with them, playing, going for a walks, hikes, runs and making sure they're happy and safe. Although I enjoy activity daily, I also can handle the needs and care for lower energy/senior dogs. I'm responsible, punctual, and just enjoy being around animals. I'd be delighted to take care of your dogs or cats! I’m home most of the day since I study remotely. I might go out for a couple of hours to run errands, but aside from those times, I’m usually either at home or out in the mountains with my dog, Nova. So pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to give her plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship :) I would preferably care for pets in their own home, as my apartment is fairly small. I love keeping dogs active and happy through walks, runs, and hikes when appropriate and with the owners’ approval. And of course, lots of love, attention, and playtime! I’m also happy to follow each pet’s routine and the owners’ instructions to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for

“Leslie is awesome to work with. We started with a meet and greet and then Toast stayed with her for daycare. She was very communicative, and was wonderful with Toast. Sometimes he can get really excited and stressed with too much time with other dogs, but when I picked him up he was relaxed and happy. We'll totally book with her again.”

“Moose and I loved his stay with Mika!! They were such amazing hosts for our boy, and we could tell when we picked him up he'd had a great time :) we will DEFINITELY be asking for you again in the future! Thank you again so much!!”

“Karrin is great, super great communication on the app and in person. She sent pictures, although I didn’t get them because I didn’t have WiFi on the whale watching excursion most of the time, until later but she sent me a lot of them for the short amount of time they were with her. She took great care of them. They are looking forward to going back to see her and her puppy tomorrow and spending the night with them!!!”

About: I have been pet sitting for the a couple years, caring for both dogs and cats in a variety of settings. I have experience with multi-dog households, including overnight stays for over a week as well as shorter visits, holiday stays, play dates and walks. My experience includes walks, drop in care, feeding and meal routines, administering medications, avoiding pet allergies and of course playtime! I have dog sat for puppies less than two months old to senior dogs with mobility issues who need extra care, diets and sensitivity. I have grown up caring for my own dogs and cats, so I am very comfortable with animals of all ages and personalities. I genuinely love animals and prioritize making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I am currently out of school for the summer, working part time and focusing on side work, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I have open availability for pet care throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I provide reliable care in my client’s home by following the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, giving any medications as directed, and keeping their space clean and comfortable. I also make sure pets get plenty of companionship, playtime, and mental stimulation through walks, play, and positive interaction. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owner is away. I give clients updates and photos during my stay, and always leave a summary of my time with their pets at the end!
“Im incredibly happy to have found Sara and her lil dog Lilly thru this site. She made me feel very comfortable leaving my 9 month old puppy Maia. I completely recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter. Sara was very attentive to her needs an giving cuddles as she missed her family. As well as sent me pictures from yard shanigans to a fun walk with both our doggies. I cant thank her enough and will definitely be chosing for the future!”

“Kendra was amazing! She is very kind and loving with pets. I received pictures of Princess throughout the day and Princess looked so happy! If you live in the Palm Springs area, or are visiting (like I was), and need someone to look after your fur babies, I would 100% recommend her. ❤️ Thank you, Kendra!”

About: Ive worked in a variety of pet care settings over the last 12+ years. Ive worked at vet clinics, police training kennels, pet sitting companies, have been a pet grooming assistant, have done dog training, and run my own pet sitting business for a few years as well. I have worked with a wide variety of dogs (big, small, old, young), and cats with a variety of special needs, I have cared for horses, small animals (rats, bunnies, chickens), goats, and several species of reptiles, and a cockatiel once. I am thorough, communicative, and am able to give a quality pet care or pet adventure experience. My availability changes per day and week based on appointments. My schedule is semi-flexible depending on the needs of your fur-kiddos and the service(s) provided. I offer in-home pet sitting, pet care, as well as can take dogs into my own home. In my own home there is a dog and several cats, so your dog(s) would need to be cat and dog friendly. Your dog will have friends to play with and cuddle with and a fenced yard to roam around with chickens, goats, and ducks in the back (typically fenced off separately).
About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.
“Great communication, flexible with my pickup and dropoff, and a very caring and thoughtful Rover member. Thank you Annie for watching our Oscar for the day! I’d be back in a heartbeat if we lived anywhere near Bellingham!”

About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.
“Im so thankful I found Luz, shes fantastic and I knew my lil pup was in good hands. Im so leary of people watching my animals but I went with my instinct. I highly recommend Luz if your needing a sitter. It was nice meeting her hubby and dog as well!!”

“Audrey looks out for the details when caring for our dogs. Amid freezing weather, we forgot to leave out the dog’s winter jackets, but she knew where they were in the garage and added them for the walk.”

About: I grew up working on a farm! Not only am I familiar with training puppies and caring for cats, I also know my way around a barn. I have time in the early mornings and evenings to visit your pets! I am also able to house sit and provide daily exercise to any extent you need! I love to go on walks and adventuring in parks. But I also love just sitting on the couch with a dog or cat :) I am flexible and ready to meet whatever your pet needs!
“Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

“Oh my goodness. What a great human. Emilia was so patient, sitting with my shy dog before going on the walks and she warmed up so well after the patience. I got videos and pictures. Emilia went above and beyond, so grateful!!”

About: I currently have 2 dogs of my own that I’ve had since puppies, so I understand both the fun and responsibility that come with caring for pets. I’m especially comfortable with medium and large dogs, young and energetic dogs, and dogs who need a little patience while they get comfortable with a new person. I have experience with everything from puppy energy and leash manners to post-surgery care. I know that every dog has their own quirks, preferences, and rules, and I’m happy to follow your instructions closely rather than assuming what works for my dogs will work for yours. I’m also a physician assistant; being dependable, detail-oriented, observant, and calm in unexpected situations comes naturally to me. While my medical background is human rather than veterinary, I’m comfortable following detailed medication or care instructions and paying attention to changes in behavior or condition that may need to be brought to an owner’s attention. Most importantly, I treat pets as members of the household rather than a chore to check off a list. I want your dog to get the exercise, attention, affection, and consistency they’re used to while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule which gives me plenty of availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I’m able to accommodate daytime, evening, and weekend care, and I can often be flexible with timing depending on your pet’s usual routine. I’m currently taking a couple online courses finishing my doctorate, so most of my schedule can be arranged around pet-care commitments. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where I can follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feedings, walks, medications, crating, and any household-specific instructions. I know many pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I’m careful to respect both their routine and your home. For pets staying with me, I have a fenced yard on an acre of land at a dead end quiet street. I have 2 friendly, higher-energy dogs of my own; I would always want to make sure personalities and play styles are a good fit before having dogs spend extended time together, and I’m comfortable using crates or separate spaces when needed. I pay close attention to secure doors and gates, leash safety, feeding instructions, interactions between pets, and any behavioral or medical concerns you let me know about. My goal is to keep things calm, safe, and as consistent with your pet’s normal routine as possible.
“Meredith has been so great with our VERY energetic boy, Sammy! She is always punctual, communicative, professional, and friendly. She was able to accommodate our last minute requests and adjustments when we had just had a baby and were struggling to handle a newborn and a rambunctious lab-pittie mix at home. Book Meredith, she’s great!”

“Morgan was amazing with Gia! Gia has a new friend now. It was really last minute and Morgan was very accommodating and helpful! Would (and am) book again.”

“Kayli helped us out as a last minute request when I was able to walk our pup. She did amazing with her, was on time and very professional. We will definitely use her again.”

We ran into a problem where our travel plans were delayed and Cade was happy to let our dog stay another night. I would highly recommend Cade to watch your dog and will be rebooking next time we need a rover.”

“The best dog minder ever. Our Toby loves playing with Archie and gets excited when I mention going over to stay with him. Holly has become almost family to us. Very reliable, friendly.”

“Kristyn was such a great dog sitter and very flexible and helpful when we had to change plans due to a flight cancellation. Our dog was in good hands. Really appreciate her!”

About: *Please note that for doggy day care, an extra fee of $15 may be requested if this stay is over 9 hours. I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a fully (high) fenced backyard. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. Please know that I live with my partner (who loves animals more than anyone I’ve ever met) and if I have an appointment or errand during drop off, he helps to stay back and do the hand off. If that’s not okay, let me know and I will make it work! -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)
“Daniel was absolutely phenomenal with my special needs pup and our crazy travel plans. Not only did he go above and beyond by accommodating our flight times, but he also dropped off our pup when we didn’t feel comfortable driving in the snow and ice. Arlo came home happy and exhausted - we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Thanks Daniel!”

“Rachael was absolutely wonderful! She loved and cared for Charlie like he was her own and sent us lots of fun videos and pictures of him enjoying his time with her. I would highly recommend her. :)”

“We had an excellent experience with Alexis and her dog boarding! We picked up our husky and he started sleeping standing up, he was so tired! My boyfriend and I greatly appreciated the daily updates, which included pictures/videos and information about what has been going on with our dog and others as well! We will for sure being using this app and Alexis, hopefully again!”
