“Tami was fantastic. By coincidence, the first day we took our dog to Tami's place, there had been several inches of snow the night before. There was a small hill on the way to her house thaty sedan wasn't able to handle in those conditions. I let her know we were having trouble getting to her, and she drove out to meet us. Then she did the same when we came to pick our pup up from her. Really went the extra mile for us, and it was very much appreciated. Our dog came home happy and tired, and we'll definitely be going to Tami again in the future.”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, and I am a responsible cat owner. I work at home and will be available to give your pet the care they deserve :) I work from home, so I am very flexible. I can come to your place, your pet can be housed at mine, or I can come walk your dog at odd hours of the day. I have a 2-bedroom apartment to myself, and I currently have a sweet cat named Trufflepig who is 3 and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can easily be separated if your pup or kitty doesn’t like other animals. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly with a park close by and a fenced in yard a block away where your dog can run.

About: Animals are my passion, and I’ve devoted my life to helping them. I have 25 years of experience rescuing and fostering dogs and cats and volunteering at rescues. I’ve cared for hundreds of pets of all ages and temperaments, and I have plenty of experience helping animals with special health or behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication (pills or injections) or just some extra TLC, they’re in safe, loving hands. I do boarding and doggy day care for small dogs up to 25 lbs and senior pups (8 years+) up to 40 lbs. Caring for your pet is my full time job. I am available 7 days a week and at home 24/7 with the exception of occasional errands. My priority is your pet's safety and happiness, so I spend as much time with them as possible. I decided to start offering daycare and boarding after briefly working at a dog daycare, where I was appalled at the uncaring treatment the dogs received. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my top priorities, and I will go above and beyond to ensure they have a wonderful experience. Dogs stay cage-free during the day in a cozy lounge designed just for them, with a large tv that plays dog friendly shows, couches, beds, toys, dog puzzles and more. I also make homemade treats and food that your dog is welcome to while they stay here. We’ll also enjoy leashed adventures on my 2.5-acre property. Cats have their own spacious room with climbing trees, cozy beds, scratching posts, and large windows for bird-watching. If your pet needs quiet time or special care, I offer private spaces and tailor everything to their needs. About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. I will usually be home during the day with the dogs, but if I need to run any errands, I will not be out for more than 2 hours.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with lots of experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with a Lab, my husband and I had a German Shepherd mix for 12 years (so I’m very familiar with sweet senior energy and all the extra care that comes with it), and now I have Ollie—a high-energy, young husky/german shep mix who keeps life fun and active! Because of Ollie, I’m especially comfortable with large, energetic breeds and understand the structure, exercise, and attention they need to thrive. He LOVES having dog friends around and is incredibly friendly, but he can be a persistent playmate—so if your dog prefers a quieter environment, it might not be the best fit (totally get it… my last dog was the “fun police” too). I work from home, so your dog will get lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also live right by trails, so daily walks and outdoor time are part of our routine. My home is very much a “dogs on the furniture, snuggles in bed” kind of home, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I know how hard it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet, so I’m big on communication and will send plenty of updates and photos so you always feel connected. I’ve even talked about getting a second dog, so Rover has been a perfect way Ollie to have more furry friends around in the meantime. I work from home and so I’m around most of the day unless i’m going to the gym or running errands. I take Ollie for two walks a day so your pup would join us! I have a fully fenced yard for the dogs to romp and stay safe. Part of the fence is a wire field fence so if your dog is a fence hopper, I’d like to be made aware to keep a closer eye out!

She sent pictures, although I didn’t get them because I didn’t have WiFi on the whale watching excursion most of the time, until later but she sent me a lot of them for the short amount of time they were with her. She took great care of them. They are looking forward to going back to see her and her puppy tomorrow and spending the night with them!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, and have been a pet parent throughout adulthood. I have a deep love and affection for animals, and often look after the pets of family and friends as their trusted caretaker. I call myself a "whisperer" because I feel I've always known how to 'communicate' with domesticated animals and earn their trust. I'm an adjunct instructor at WWU with enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. As I considered alternative work for myself, I thought I should consider what I love to do, and pet sitting/dog walking feels like a great fit for me. I currently have a 2 year old female rescue dog who I'm 90% sure is a puggle, and 2 beautiful male cats. Traditionally I've owned boxers, but I love both big and small dogs of all kinds, puppies to seniors, as well as cats and most other pets (perhaps not insects...!). I'm reliable, friendly, patient, and love to walk, so frequent or long dog walks suit me fine. I have enough flexibility in my schedule to be available for pet care most of the time. Evenings are especially flexible for me, as well as overnights and weekends. I have a pet-friendly home with a fenced yard in a safe neighborhood with parks and trails close by. I'm home much of the time so my pets get a lot of attention and care, are fed on schedule, and I'm up to date on all vaccinations. My home is clean, cozy and safe.

About: We've raised Bruce, an Aussie-lab mix since 2016, and recently hosted a family members 2 corgis for 6 months during 2020. Prior to Bruce, I helped train our family Chihuahua beginning in 2010. I follow the positive encouragement training method, and love endless unique personalities of our furry companions. During 2020 we've been working from home, and love taking Bruce out for a 1.5mi 30min walk during lunch. There's many great trails in our neighborhood, and we love exploring all the new trails we can find. We have a fenced yard and the friendliest dog EVER! He literally loves everyone! He's a great walking companion, and loves being in the great outdoors

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I love spending time with them. I now have more time on my hands and would love to spend it caring for dogs who need some TLC. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I also had a lab who developed cancer and needed medication and a special diet. I feel I would be a perfect person to care for special needs dogs. I am retired so I have time to care for your pet from my home with frequent walks and/or bathroom breaks around our 5 acre property. I live on 5 acres. I do not have a fenced yard but take multiple walks throughout the day so your dog would be safely walked on a leash.
