“Morgan was simply the best! We couldn’t have asked for a more caring, communicative and flexible first Rover sitter. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable having Henry stay with her and her adorable dog Baby. She sent frequent pictures of their activities and ensured Henry got exercise, rest, healthy snacks and attention. We were only visiting Bellingham but wish she lived in our town - we would have her hang with Henry all the time! Cannot recommend enough. Thank you Morgan!”

“Leslie is awesome to work with. We started with a meet and greet and then Toast stayed with her for daycare. She was very communicative, and was wonderful with Toast. Sometimes he can get really excited and stressed with too much time with other dogs, but when I picked him up he was relaxed and happy. We'll totally book with her again.”

“Kris is so wonderful! I had a very last minute change of plans and she was able to host my pup the next morning. 3 acres of fenced yard is just heaven for dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup there! Their little Rosie and my pup Freyja played so much and I got to take home a veryyyyyy exhausted puppy after a long day of work. I will DEFINITELY be going back.”

“Good service , good communication , I took my little boy to Shawn place , it was is first time to stay away from us and when we came back to pick him up he was happy . Thanks for the great service you gave to Flocky :) .”

“My dog had a wonderful time with Addison! He was friendly and communicative during pickup, drop off, and during care. When I picked up I could tell Puck had a wonderful time and Addison shared fun stories about his day. I'm planning to use him as a regular sitter for my pup!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

“Denise took such good care of our dog. Of all the persons we have been with rover, hands down she is the best. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to be taken care with patience and love, definitely Denise is the person who you are looking for. ?”

“Annie was super responsive when we were searching for a dog sitter for the day and made herself available at the very last minute. Our dog seemed to have a great time and was exhausted and happy when we picked him up in the evening.”

About: Update: Based in Bellingham Washington, currently looking to board/housesit for aniamals in Bellingham. I am a full time dog trainer and animal caretaker. I am also available for hire for canine training. I am in the process of receiving my national professional degree for Large and Small Animal Accupressure. I am also available for hire on the northern coast of Oregon, available for animal sitting in-home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well. So please, go on your next vacation with your mind at ease, knowing your pets are well cared for and are on a vacation of their very own at our beautiful farm in northern Bellingham, complete with acerage, rolling fields and plenty of room to run and play. Wishing you a beautiful day!
“I am so grateful to have found Jayde as a sitter for Lucy. She is flexible, knowledgeable and kind. Lucy had some health issues after I adopted her, and Jayde has been able to work with the needs of our schedule and individual situation. She makes everything effortless. Jayde is a jewel of a person and a wonderful pet companion.”

“Garfunkel had a blast meeting Jennifer and spending her days playing with her and the other pups outside! Garfunkel is typically quite anxious, but Jennifer quickly put her at ease.”

“Alexandra is a great! Highly recommend. Great communication and pictures my dog can be high maintenance as a loud husky and she handles him with ease and her husky as well is very sweet and well behaved.”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“Kendra was amazing! She is very kind and loving with pets. I received pictures of Princess throughout the day and Princess looked so happy! If you live in the Palm Springs area, or are visiting (like I was), and need someone to look after your fur babies, I would 100% recommend her. ❤️ Thank you, Kendra!”

“My yo-yo is a three month puppy, I had an emergency and I appreciated Wei took my last minute request . I was so anxious at first. But Wei sent pictures and videos constantly. It is so reassuring. It is not easy to take care of a baby, but they are amazing! They took her out every two hours, played with her, be her company all the time. yoyo even learned to walk stairs! Their house is so clean and beautiful . Yo-yo loves their park-like backyard! Highly recommend!!”

“Chelsea provided us a safe, secure daycare option for our two dogs - one of which is quite fearful and difficult to board at most facilities. Our 'troubled friend' came home happy, along with his generally well-adjusted pack-mate who also did not appear stressed at all. We have already booked two more visits with Chelsea and couldn't be happier with the service that she provides.”

“Leslie took great care of my Nikki. She has never been at daycare and loved it very much especially the homecooked meal that Leslie prepares for her dogs. What a great place . I will bring Nikki back to Leslie anytime and highly recommend her.”

About: I grew up on a small organic farm, where we raised everything from sheep and goats to rabbits and quail. We also had 5 cats and a dog, so caring for animals was a part of my everyday life from a young age. That experience has given me the confidence to care for pets with different personalities and needs. As I got older, my love for animals stayed with me. Whether your pet loves long walks, play time or wants someone to keep them company i’ll make sure they feel safe and well cared for. I recently graduated college at WWU and I am currently working part time, so I can easily fit around your schedule and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I work Tuesday and Thursday and I am off in the afternoon. I live close to a few parks that are dog friendly and make a great walk. Inside, pets are free to roam throughout the house.
About: I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was little and trained all of the dogs I have owned as well as helped a lot of my friends train their first puppies. I do it all from head to toe and I truly love it as it brings me joy! I am currently working parti me and mostly studying from home so I have loads of time for the fur babies and super flexible ! I have a fenced yard and crates if need be. Baby gates as well! In your home I will follow your specific rules as instructed.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 179 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Goshen. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Goshen commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 179 sitters in Goshen, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
