About: Hi, I'm Irene :)! I'm an all around animal lover, but especially dogs. I have a husky named Nova, so I have experience caring for and understanding dogs and cats of different personalities (huskies are part cat too, right?). I love spending time with them, playing, going for a walks, hikes, runs and making sure they're happy and safe. Although I enjoy activity daily, I also can handle the needs and care for lower energy/senior dogs. I'm responsible, punctual, and just enjoy being around animals. About: I’ve worked with dogs professionally for the last 4 years. Have 3 years of pet CPR/first aid training. In my 4 years I’ve spent lots of time researching the best ways to bond with each breed using play and their natural instincts. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a fully (high) fenced backyard. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. Please know that I live with my partner (who loves animals more than anyone I’ve ever met) and if I have an appointment or errand during drop off, he helps to stay back and do the hand off.
