“I'm a first time Rover user so I was new to the process and a little apprehensive, but I had nothing to be concerned about- Autumn was amazing! We had a meet and greet with her before our trip and she immediately made us comfortable about leaving the care of our kitties to her. It's clear she loves animals and our two 9 year old kitties loved her visits while we were out of town. She took great care of them and was extremely communicative with us the entire time. I will definitely request her services again in the future!!”

“Lizz was very attentive and tailored her cat sitting to our cats’ needs, as opposed to a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Lizz was very helpful with handling other miscellaneous requests around our house - unrelated to cat sitting. Lizz is very personable and friendly, and we felt very comfortable leaving her with our fur babies and access to our home. We will definitely request Lizz in the future!”

“I would trust Zoe to take care of my cat any time any day! They were so great with giving my cat Marny the love and care she needed while I was gone and was even able to trim some of Marny’s nails (something very hard to do haha). I appreciate the thought and care Zoe put into taking care of Marny and would really recommend their services when leaving on a trip. :)”

“Emily took care of our two cats while we were gone for two weeks and we came home to very well cared for and happy babies!! About: I began volunteering at my city's animal shelter at the age of thirteen, dog walking, and I quickly began taking on more responsibilities at the shelter from there. By the time I was fifteen, I was volunteering in vet services, helping with adoption events, and doing critter care, where I socialized and took care of small animals like rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and mice. During my time as a volunteer, I began a veterinary assisting program. I spent five days a week providing care to dogs, cats, horses, and rodents while learning proper medical procedures. Within that care, I attentively followed tailored feeding and kenneling instructions meant to keep the animals safe and healthy. Through my time at my tech school, I gained my OSHA 10 healthcare-focused certification, my HIV, Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and I graduated with my veterinary assisting certification. After graduating, I began working at my city's animal shelter as a Student Day Laborer and Veterinary Assistant, as well as pet sitting for people living in and around my city. At the animal shelter, I handled dogs with various behavioral challenges, including nipping, jumping, barking, pulling, lunging, and multiple kinds of reactivity. I maintained a clean and tidy environment by cleaning up many kinds of bodily fluids and parasites to ensure the comfort and health of the animals. During my time there, I fostered several dogs from the euthanasia list to provide them with proper enrichment and training to make them less frustrated and more adoptable. I have experience providing medical care and enrichment to puppies as young as three weeks old and senior dogs. I am a college student, but I am currently on summer break, so I am available every day except for Thursdays and Fridays. I am very flexible with my schedule when it comes to work and am willing to work with people on timing. I am capable of providing medical care and following specific feeding instructions that have been provided to me by the owner. I provide appropriate enrichment and exercise for different age ranges and breeds.

“Sierra is a great cat sitter, would definitely recommend! She did drop in visits for our two cats and did a great job with them. We will definitely rebook with Sierra for next time we travel.”

“Anna was terrific. I had just moved to a new town, where I didn't know anybody, a few days before when I had to leave suddenly for a family emergency. I needed to be gone for at least a week. My cats hadn't even had time to adjust after the move. Anna accepted a last minute request, and remained flexible as plans changed in the unsettled situation I faced. Her updates were thorough, and a break from the stressful situation I faced. My cats grew to love her, and I returned to three very happy and well adjusted cats.”

“Mikayla was very good with my senior cat (100+ in human years!). He was not at all upset when I returned home-which he often is when I leave him- and seemed quite content. She gave him his medicine on time and sent pictures along as well. Made my trip all the better. Thank you Mikayla!”

“We had a great experience with Jess dropping in to check on our kitten while we were away. They gave detailed updates and went above and beyond to make sure our cat was doing well and not feeling lonely. We really appreciate their service and highly recommend them!”

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

About: Hey there! My name is Giselle, I'm a psychology student at Western, but a bellinghamster born and raised. I have grown up with various pets with my favorites being dogs and cats of course. (Though I do have an awesome fishtank!) I've got a long history of dogsitting, housesitting, and babysitting around town! When it comes to pet sitting my number one for the animal is keeping anxiety low and quality time outdoors high. Love to go hiking on galbraith and other trails give that extra mile for the pups! I believe when it comes to pet care you gotta throw all your energy to them (no half-assing it) I care to give your pups the invigorating, joyful, and healthy exercise they deserve! Happy to stay the night and watch over packages, mail, and other various things! ☺️🐾🤘🐕 I've got great availability as a college student living at home, my schedule varies a little depending on the quarter but usually I only have classes in the middle of the day and work short dinner shifts at the Willows retirement home in town as a waitress This makes me very accessible for walks in morning/evening and a little potty break during the day. I am happy to stay over on a pull out couch and provide overnight support for your pet or just go back and forth from my home. Whatever makes you most comfortable! I have been doing housesitting, babysitting, and dogsitting for around five years and am responsible in always locking up the house and keeping things tidy. My saftey limits include: I am not comfortable with other people staying the night in the home whilst I am there as privacy and safety is important to me.

About: I’ve spent my entire life growing up around many animals and always being taught to treat each one like family. I’ve taken care of many types of animals, owned multiple exotic animals of my own, co-ran a pet sitting business where at one point I was watching 13+ animals at the same time, and am comfortable with every breed, from the never ending energy of a border collie to taking it slow with a senior dog. I am a young, responsible and professional adult, I love the outdoors and taking dogs out into it, I am someone who thrives in an organized environment and am patient and more than willing to work with animals that need to build trust. My top priority is always the safety and happiness of the pets I take care of, always ensuring they are getting the mental stimulation they need as well as knowing their behavior and being able to accordingly keep them in situations they are comfortable and happy in. I work part time as a baker, I have most availability during the week M-Th, but am available most weekend afternoons/evenings. I love getting out into nature and am very willing to work with you to fit dog walks, boarding or whatever else you may need with my schedule! I live in a townhouse with a large shared park/lawn/patio area a few seconds away from my front door. I also have many many walking trails and parks within a few minutes from me that are all off of busy roads/areas and take you through forested areas, marsh, and large fields. I always carry everything I might need in any emergency situation with an animal I’m taking care of, I am always very aware of my surroundings and am very good at catching animals behaviors before any situation has escalated and am able to prevent them, from both my animals and strangers. I have spent lots of time training and many hours learning about animals and the physical warnings they show in discomfort, I have always been able to safely remove or prevent my own pets as well as clients from a stressful situation. I have no trouble standing up for my animal if a stranger isn’t taking proper care of theirs and will always ALWAYS put myself between them and harms way.

“Finding a dog sitter who is not only reliable but also genuinely caring is really hard and Ari is exactly that. Ari dogsat for me for 6 weeks while i was on a trip. My dog, Ollie, is usually anxious around new people, but he took to Ari quite quickly. When I hired Ari, I was a little worried as Ollie isn't that accommodating but she handled him quite well. Ari sent me regular updates, asked questions and was very accommodating. She acted as a true professional and left me and Ollie happy.”
