We were just a few days ahead of leaving for a vacation and were feeling uneasy about putting him into a boarding situation for the first time. Kathleen was quick to respond to my initial message and we scheduled a meet-and-greet for that night. She was warm and friendly and took notes as we discussed his schedule, habits and quirks. We felt 100% confident leaving Boats in her care. I loved that she sent frequent updates and LOTS of pictures so I could see what he was up to (which was having lots of fun playtime with her sweet dog, Levvy, and enjoying subsequent nap times!). I also screwed up the pickup time and she was understanding and accommodating, which I appreciated since I was out of state so couldn't get there any earlier. Lastly, she left a sweet thank you note and printed photo in with Boats' bag, which I thought was a sweet and classy move. I will DEFINITELY be asking Kathleen to watch our fur baby again!”

About: Leaving your four legged loved ones at home when you go on vacation is never easy. I strive to make sure they feel cared for and loved while you are away so you don't need to worry! I have over 18 years experience caring for animals of my own, rescue fosters, and shelter animals, and caring for others' pets while they are away. I am a lifelong animal lover with experience with cats, dogs, and small animals like ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, chickens, and more. I have cats and dogs of my own currently. Whether you are looking for a dog walker, a drop-in pet sitter, or a comfortable place to board your four-legged (or more or less) family members, I can be of service to you. I live in a single family home with a fully fenced in backyard, and a separate dedicated nicely sized bedroom dedicate to boarding. Whether I'm housing your pets or visiting your home, my goal is always to make them as comfortable and as happy as possible! I am currently working part-time from home. I am available for boarding, walking, and drop-ins, on a relatively flexible schedule. I am also offering sitter pick-ups and drop-offs as a boarding add-on. My style of pet care is catering to their needs and your desires. I have experience with shy, rowdy, low-energy, and other types of personalities. Each pet and each situation requires a unique approach.
