About: Dogs have been my constant companions throughout my life, and I've loved training and caring for them every step of the way. Currently volunteering with the La Plata County Humane Society has only deepened my commitment to animal welfare. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I'll keep you connected with plenty of photos and updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Since I work from home, your pet will rarely be alone. I do not have any hobbies or obligations that would take me away from them for more than a few hours. If your pet has any special needs, I am sure I can accommodate. I will care for your pets however you may wish! I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks or to the dog park, or simply lounging at home with them. If your pet has any special needs, I am sure I can accommodate.

About: Have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life! Never had a year without living with dogs, cats, and the many other lovely creatures I have as pets. I’m all about getting outside with animals and having fun! I’m currently a F+B manager working nights and have Sunday and Mondays off. Every morning, 6am -12pm, open for any adventure and/or pet care. Love taking care of senior dogs and running with high energy pups. I have no fence around my yard and keep all dogs on a leash or tether when outside and always accompanied when outside. I live right on the Animas River and love to walk my pets down. I have a 3 year old female dog Daisy and a 1 year old black male cat named Felix. Both are friendly and love making new friends! Will always take care of a clients pet and home like it’s my own.

About: I grew up on a farm and ranch with horses, cows, dogs and cats where I developed a love for all animals. I rescued my first dog on my own in 2010 and spent 11 fantastic years with him until he passed from cancer. I have experience administering pet medication and caring for animals with disabilities and illnesses. I am currently staying at home full time with my toddler so I have nothing but time to love on and care for your pets. I live on a wooded 12 acres far from the main road. My property is unfenced so my large dog wears a Halo GPS collar when she is outside. I have a doggy door that exits outside into a small dog pen. I will gladly follow your preferences for leashing and outdoor time with your pets. I love all animals and will treat yours like my own.

About: I grew up with cats (5 to be exact) and a dog. Since that time, I have lived with a dog for the past two year. I have been cat and dog sitting for three years in Durango and in my previous home in Salt Lake City. I love most animals and have a lot of patience and love! I work remotely 9-5 from Monday-Thursday, so I can be home with your pet all day! I can walk them before and after work, and let them out to use the bathroom anytime during the day. My only requirement is a quiet space to work and good internet. I will be patient and loving with your pet. I know it takes time for pets to warm up to new people. I am good at approaching animals slowly and calmly so that they feel safe with me!

About: Hello! I live near Purgatory Ski Resort and work in town. I have a hybrid 4/day work schedule. I am very flexible and can come to your house or they can stay at mine. I love dogs and getting them out and about. I love taking fur babies on adventures downtown or up in the mountains :) I am currently working a hybrid office job which is very flexible. My days off are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and I work from home Tuesdays and Thursdays. I would plan to take them out for the day to get your pup some exercise. I don’t have a yard but I have a nice neighborhood to walk in.

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was about 8. I’ve always loved the opportunity to meet people’s pets, I form a good relationship with them pretty much instantaneously. I love being able to help people go on their vacations or get through their work day knowing their animal is being taken care of. My complex doesn’t allow animals, and after the passing of my own pup it’s been nice to meet so many new lil fur friends. I’d love to help you! I work at least 4 days a week, but luckily I have a pretty flexible schedule; that being said, any time I’m not at work would be spent with your fur child. I’ve been trained in dog handling and I’m very gentle but also assertive when the situation calls for it. I’m good at feeling out the animals comfort level and letting them warm up to me in whatever way will be the least stressful for them.

About: As an avid outdoor enthusiast and dog lover you can be sure your dog is getting the attention and exercise they need! I try to take the dogs out 2 times a day for walks and every couple of hours for potty breaks. I do have a wonderful pup-o of my own, Luna so your doggo has some company. Is your dog more of a runner? If so I’ll pop on my mountain bike and let them do some trail running... more of a lazy doggo? How about some ice cream? Just kidding... no ice cream! About: My passion for helping animals, in this case helping humans with animals, brings me joy. I am a pet owner myself and will treat yours as my own. I am a long distance hiker and overall an outdoorswoman, who can get your pup lean and properly snuggles and loved. I work with felines, rodents, and reptiles as well. About: I’ve worked with animals my entire life! I’ve cared for horses and other pets with varying levels of medical and dietary needs and I’m comfortable with any type of pet and can stay on top of any unique medical needs they may have while giving them companionship! Since the age of 6 I’ve cared for a horse with very specific and high maintenance needs and I’ve even worked as a wrangler and caretaker in Yellowstone where I cared for over 30 horses at a time. I’m great at basic in home vet care and medication distribution if that is necessary! I’m very detail oriented and great at sticking to whatever specific schedule may be needed! I’m currently working a very flexible schedule and am available for drop ins, house visits, and any type of care you may need! I currently have a very flexible schedule and I am able to come for visits, provide outings, bring your pet to my house or come to your home. My home is directly on a trail head so I am able to provide fun outings for your pet if they are staying with me. I am a runner so if you like your dog to run I can take them running. I also enjoy walks and will meet your dog with whatever their needs may be.

About: I have 2 mini dachshunds & a golden retriever that the loves of my life. I take care of friend and family dogs as well and have taken care of up to 9 dogs at once! I love animals and it brings me joy to spend time with them and make them happy. I manage a country club in Durango, I work evenings typically not going to work till 2:00-3:00 so I have tons of morning time to spend with your animals! I get off around 9:00 every night. I do not offer bringing other pets into my home. In others homes i find it important to bring pets outside and ensure proper enrichment!

About: Love taking care of furry friends- I’m a reliable pet sitter and dogwalker and very grateful to have always had neighbors with pets to care for! Open to long or short-term sitting, and dog running for active pups. Happy to help with medicine or other treatments for older pups’ needs. Flexible schedule, let’s chat! Mornings and evenings during the week are best, and can be available for boarding on weekends as well. Depends on what’s easiest for yall. I have a dog friendly home within a few blocks of city parks and trail systems, no other pets currently live in the house. We have a dog door and a small fenced-in side yard.

About: Hello! I have cared for my own pets my entire life, but also have many years experience in fostering, pet care, volunteering with animals, dog walking, and house sitting. I am currently training to become a certified dog trainer! Rem & Tan is my small business entity, named after my fur babies. My goal is to become a full-time trainer, service dog trainer, groomer, walker, sitter, and much more. My ongoing education will be apart of my daily work with pet walking and sitting, to ensure every animal gets exactly what they need! I am currently pursuing my training credentials and Rem & Tan! My schedule is open. I am available 24/7 with notice. I can do early mornings and late night walks/check-ins! I have a fenced front and back yard. The back and side yard will be the main outdoor area to ensure safety. I have a spare bedroom set up for animal care, we have a crate available depending on your needs, but do ask you to provide the necessary items for your animals happiness and comfort! I have one dog, as my other recently passed. She is an active but well behaved Heeler. I do plan to bring her on dog walks, park visits, socialization meet ups, with permission. She is my sidekick during my studying to become a dog trainer. I'd love for her to gain more socialization and friends :) - If you have a pet you prefer is cared for solo, that's fine too! Every animal is different and I will make sure they get the best care specific to them!

About: I have been a dog owner my entire life and started Rover after I lost one of my dogs a few years back. Currently, I work for the fire department and am looking to help other dog owners care for his or her pet(s) as if my own. My pricing is absolutely negotiable* If your pup loves to walk/ run and play, so do I! I am also willing to take your dog to the groomer, to dog parks, on car rides, brush him or her myself as well as brush teeth and of course lots of pets and cuddles *Willing to negotiate pricing on a case-by-case basis- message with any inquiries I am a wildland firefighter in the summers so from November-early/mid-May my time is very flexible. There is some part time work that I am committed to but I’m able to be accommodating most of the time. I always like to chat with the client/ pet owner about their pet and his/ her needs. At a clients’ home, I want to ensure their space is respected and treated to their standards and their pet is comfortable.
