I've had great success with getting shy or aggressive cats to open up and become comfortable with me. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve owned, cared for, and worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities—from toy breeds to full-grown Mastiffs. My experience also includes working with cattle and ranch dogs, several hunting breeds, and spending time assisting handlers working with K-9 units. That experience has taught me how different every dog can be and how important it is to pay attention to their individual personality, energy level, boundaries, and routine. Whether your dog is a laid-back couch companion, an energetic working breed, a powerful large dog, or somewhere in between, I’m comfortable adapting my care to what they need. About: I’ve been a pet owner for nearly 30 years — from growing up with our family’s Border Collies and house cats, to raising my own Jack Russells throughout adulthood, to caring for two rescue kittens in college. I’m equally comfortable with dogs and cats of all personalities and needs. What sets me apart is the range of care I’ve provided. I’ve raised a Jack Russell puppy from the wild, zoomie-filled stage into a well-behaved, confident adult, so I’m patient, consistent, and great with puppies who need structure and gentle training. I’ve also cared for a 17-year-old senior dog during his end-of-life stage, which taught me how to support pets who need slower routines, medication, and close, intuitive attention. I fostered an entire litter of puppies and their mom from an overcrowded shelter, so I’m familiar with round-the-clock care, monitoring, and meeting shy or sensitive animals where they are. Between that and my own lifelong pet experience, I’ve worked with animals at every life stage and energy level. I’m a real estate agent with a team beneath me, which means I create my own schedule and have other agents I can rely on if I’m ever occupied. About: I have been working with animals since I was a child! I grew up on a farm with horses and our trusty yellow Labradors, learning from an early age the true meaning of taking care of others. I love providing dogs the happiest experience - I find such joy when playing, running, skiing, or hiking with dogs and seeing the BIG smile on their faces! Any pups that stay with me, my husband, and our goofy dog, Miles, will have a fantastic time, as well as guaranteed adventure (as appropriate!). About: Care for animals has been a passion of mine throughout my life. My experience ranges from years working in an animal hospital to simply dog sitting. I cannot wait to meet your pets! During the week we can be available at anytime and we look forward to pet care being an important part of our daily function in life! I care for animals by listening to the owners expectations and then adhering to subsequent schedules and routines to meet all of the pets needs and to make the pet as happy and comfortable as possible.
About: I'm an animal lover! We have two dogs (Border Collie mixes) and one cat. I know how important it is to feel like your fur friends are in good hands and I will make sure I do that for you. I have experience giving meds to both cats and dogs, if needed. We have two kids, 5 & 6 years old, who are very good and gentle with pets. They have a lot of experience with animals. All I ask is that your pet is also kid-friendly! They will be closely monitore together. You may have noticed in my photos that we also have chickens! They do have a large, separate yard, so they will be in their own area when we have visiting pets. They are well secured, so if you worry your dog might get excited and chase them, their fence will keep them safe. During the school year, I drop my kids off in the morning, might have short errands to run, home most of the day, then pick the kids up in the afternoon. Our dogs eat in the morning and the evening with many potty breaks in between. As for summer, we spend most of our time outside in the yard. My husband is a wildland firefighter, so I am home with the kids most of the time. As a photographer, my schedule is very flexible. I usually only do photo sessions during the evening and they're only a half hour to an hour long. When I have weddings, it's likely I won't be available because they are long days away from home and I wouldn't want to leave your pet alone for that long, my availability will be updated accordingly. Even with photo sessions and school, I am home a lot! I understand from experience how it can feel to leave your pets somewhere unknown. I will do my very best to keep to the schedule your pets are usually on. Feeding, potty breaks, medication, etc. I will make sure they feel at home, get love and attention, play time, walks, and anything else they would normally enjoy. Feel free to bring them a bed so they have somewhere to sleep. Our dogs sleep on our bed, but we will make sure your pet doesn't feel lonely at bedtime, too!
