About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them goes beyond just “watching dogs” for me! I spent nearly a year working at a doggy daycare, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, as well as energy levels-from playful 4 month old puppies to sweet senior dogs who just need a little extra patience and care. I grew up around dachshunds and dobermans my whole life, and I now have my own Dalmatian that I rescued from illegal breeding. I understand both high-energy breeds and animals with unique personalities. My experience in pet sitting, dog behavior, proper socialization, and enrichment allows me to provide care that is attentive, structured, and tailored to each dog’s needs and personality. Whether your dog loves playtime, cuddles, walks, mental stimulation, or simply a calm and restful environment, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for and loved while you are away. As a college student out for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. Aside from a job commitment one weekend a month, my availability is open for almost anything-walks, drop-ins, and daycare! Your pets comfort and safety are always my #1 priority. I provide a calm, clean, and welcoming home where your dog can feel right at home. I make sure they have both companionship and personal space when needed. I have a room in my home with a tall baby gate dedicated for dogs where they can decompress, and nothing will bother them if they want their own space. I also have a very playful and friendly Dalmatian, Siggy, who loves having company around the house. I will always supervise if Siggy would be around your dog, including a safe and proper introduction of the two dogs and continuously watching them when they would be playing.
“Ciera was awesome taking care of our cat and dog! She was very considerate and made sure our pets felt loved while we were away. She was always available to communicate with us while we were away. 10/10 recommend her services to anyone in the area!”

About: I’ve had my precious baby Sadie since February of 2020. I love going to visit my family and friend’s animals and taking care of them. I also love going on long walks and especially running. :) I am a college student on summer vacation so I have plenty of free time. I am eager for any new opportunities to pass the time and am almost always available! I can do anything needed to take standard to take care of dogs and cats. I love playing with them so I am happy to spend as much time needed to keep them happy and healthy!
About: Hi everyone! My name is Grace! I am 25 years old and I am a Registered Nurse at St Tammany Parish Hospital, where I have worked for the past three years. I have my CPR certification for people as well as knowledge of CPR for animals. I have volunteered at the Northshore Humane Society and have always loved helping my friends and family with their animals. With Rover, my goal is to take care of as many animals as I can via pet sitting and dog walking! My love for animals extends to another level due my family members’ allergies as I grew up, causing me to not be able to have a pet growing up. I would love to show your animals all of my love and care! I work as a nurse at St Tammany Parish Hospital 3-4 days a week, so I am available on a variety of days of the week! I make sure to keep the homes clean and how i left them & make sure the animals are clean when coming inside after having outside time.
About: I have been raising and caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. From birthing puppies to senior dog care. Who doesn’t love a furry friend! I am a teacher who is off for summer break and would love to fill my summer free time helping your special furry family members! I am currently living in an apartment living so I understand the need for dog walks. I will visit and provide lots of love and attention.
“Mary is amazing! First time working together snd meeting pups. It was like a 3 ring circus here with the dogs on special diets and the lust of medications they were currently taking. She could have easily run in opposite direction but took us and the girls on last week with a calming presence, grace and humor. She went above and beyond taking great care of the dogs and even meeting chimney service because we had a squirrel squatter. We couldn’t have gotten thru last werk without Mary. After a very long day and travel delays we got home to the most thoughtful letter and surprise. We are so happy and blessed to have met Mary. She treated everyone and everything with care, love and respect. Book now…Mary is awesome! Forever grateful!”

“Bobbi was great!! Very professional and a calm demeanor that my dog loved. My dog has medical issues so it was great to know Bobbi’s background and studies make her knowledgeable about taking care of special needs dogs. I highly recommended Bobbi.”

About: I’ve taken care of and lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I currently own five cats and one dog. I’m very good with them. I work from home in Covington so I have a very flexible schedule. I work for a radio station in New Orleans as a producer. I can work from anywhere as long as I have my phone and an Internet connection. I will make sure that your pet is safe and well taken care of.… Making sure not to let them get away or come to any harm. And of course having fun!

About: As a professional dog trainer, I’m especially comfortable caring for dogs with fear, anxiety, reactivity, separation-related challenges, or other behavioral needs. I understand that these dogs often need more than basic care—they need their environment and routines managed thoughtfully so they can feel safe and successful. I’m also experienced with puppies, senior pets, and animals who need extra patience or individualized care. My goal is to provide dependable care while respecting each pet’s unique personality, needs, and comfort level. Pet care is an important part of my work, so I’m able to build my schedule around the pets in my care rather than fitting visits in around a full-time job. I offer flexible scheduling for house sitting and drop-in visits, and I’m able to accommodate pets who need a little extra time, patience, or consistency. I limit my bookings so that each pet receives the attention and care they deserve. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. In your home, I maintain your pet’s normal routines as much as possible and follow your instructions closely, while also paying attention to body language and stress signals so I can adjust as needed. My experience as a professional dog trainer means I’m comfortable recognizing when a dog is uncomfortable, overwhelmed, or needs more space, and I take a proactive approach to preventing problems rather than waiting for them to happen. I’m also happy to accommodate special routines, medications, management plans, and other individual needs whenever I can.

I thrive on routine and so does the rest of my household! Whatever schedule you have for your pet will be followed as close as possible! We have a big yard with plenty of space to play and also have a very safe neighborhood for afternoon walks! Safety is a big priority of mine and because of that I don’t let the pups in the backyard unsupervised.

I work part-time at a restaurant and i work mainly in the mornings and some nights. Usually only to 10-3 or 5-10. So I don’t work a whole lot. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
