Brad was amazing with our dog! He was incredibly conscious and respectful about maintaining any routines and training we had already established with our dog and was great with our sometimes unruly boy! I was very impressed with how communicative he was and took very well composed and extremely cute photos to send us! I would absolutely recommend Brad!

Jessica was great! She took time out of her night to come visit Koda the night before she walked him and see how they did with each other! She was also a great walker and was willing to just hang out with him outside of his kennel and play with his toys! We will definitely be going back to Jessica again!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with working dogs, big dogs, feral cats, farm animals, and everything in between. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks (in the Ankeny/Polk City area) or weekend check ins in the metro, while you are out and about being social. My husband works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor/Beaverdale areas. Some nights he may even join if he’s home. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy. I’ve worked with highly trained dogs, and will honor any and all training your dogs follows.

About: Pets are the best things in the world! I’ve grown up with my own pets and nothing makes me happier. I have pet sat 30 pets in my time and I’d love to watch yours too! I’ve even fostered 3 dogs in my own home, all of which have been adopted. Adding a pet is just an extra step to everyday routine and I’d love to share all my love with them too! I work full time, but again pets are family! They are something you cater to everyday and make time for no matter what. Everyone has their own needs and so do pets, so I will be make sure they are well taken care off based off each individual need. I have a fenced yard, no other pets in the house (as of now). Depending on the dogs needs/ owners wants I can accommodate to what is needed!

About: Hi, I’m Shane! Calm, steady walker who keeps things simple and safe. I’ve spent my whole life around animals, and I’m the kind of person who pays attention to the small things: body language, pacing, comfort, and routine. I like to consider myself patient, predictable, and confident, and that’s exactly how I approach every walk and visit. I’m available throughout the week and flexible with timing. If you want someone dependable who communicates clearly and treats your dog like an individual, I’d love to meet you and your pup! I currently care for multiple dogs and cats at home, so I’m used to feeding schedules, meds, crates, and different personalities. If your dog has special needs or quirks, I’m happy to follow your routine exactly.

About: My home environment is calm and child-free, a great place for older or shy/calm pups! I have two senior rescues who love taking naps and are good with calmer dogs but able to get along with almost all pups super high energy may not be the best fit. They don’t mind cats at all. I volunteered with KC Pet Project before moving back to Des Moines in 2024 and fostered a variety of breeds, logging more than 100 hours in my first few months of volunteering. I only have 2 Rover pups at a time (boarding and/or daycare) to be able to provide the care and attention your pet needs and have a size restriction to small to medium dogs. More often than not, I sit for only one Rover dog at a time. I work remotely when not traveling for work and have a flexible schedule for walks and potty breaks. I Rover for fun as it fits my schedule for pets that are a good fit for my two rescues. My two senior dachshunds enjoy cozy blankets and napping on heating pads so a pups who enjoys a calm environment are a good fit for us. Be prepared for lots of photos and updates throughout the day! I work full-time but am mostly remote so I can let your dog out frequently. Happy to go for walks and explore the park near us! I can easily crate your pup and they are welcome to snuggle on the furniture or sleep in the bed (will crate if that is their routine). I have no kids in my home and it’s a pretty relaxed and quiet environment. We have dog ramps for any pup needing them.

About: I have grown up around Large dogs. I've been fortunate to have some of the most loving dogs to raise. It's one of the most rewarding things I have done I my life.Over the years I have done in home dog care. Availablity: week days, weekends I have trained all of the dogs I grew up with and my current dogs. I've had a certified therapy dog and I'm really proud of that accomplishment. I love playing with all pups and would be willing to work on any training aspects of your dogs needs if you would like. I enjoy spending time with dogs by going on long line walks in the woods, finding some water to swim in, or going to see the beautiful area of Grays Lake. I love all dogs of all ages and my back yard even has a ramp for my seniors to gently make it to my yard. Senior dogs have a very special place in my heart. I will have plenty of time to play with your pets. I can spend quite a bit of time with your dog if that is what you would like or I can do quick drop ins. Your dog is important to me. I have a fenced in back yard and two personal dogs who can help keep your fur baby busy if they want to engage. I am always watching the dogs when they are in the yard. Your dog will have access to a safe and clean yard. My yard also offers a ramp for senior dogs. It does have steps at the top and bottom. It offers a safe way for dogs to get into the yard.

I wish I could give even more of a tip (rover won't let me give more than 30%), but Monica did an amazing job today. My dog had an accident in the house and she cleaned it up even though she didn't have to. Words cannot describe how awesome Monica is. 12/10 would recommend to anyone.

I hired Abby to walk my dog, Bear while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. Our regular animal sitters work during the day and Bear is used to going to work with me during the day so I wanted to have a break for him. Even when he was being stubborn and wouldn't walk for her, she'd still try, spend time with him and make sure he was happy and cared for. I appreciated her flexibility in tending to his needs, even if it wasn't the walk she was expecting. She's great to communicate with and very good to our animals

I had a really great experience with my dog walker Cory There was a small misunderstanding at first because my old address was still on my profile, and he arrived there thinking it was the correct location. Once we realized the mistake, he didn’t hesitate at all—he immediately said he’d head over to my new address. I really appreciated how understanding and flexible he was about the situation. It could have easily been frustrating, but he handled it professionally and made sure my dog still got the walk. Great communication and very kind. I’d definitely recommend him!
