About: Hello! Caring for and playing with your pup everyday wound be a privilege! I am a stay at home dad so your pup would always be with someone! I’ve had dogs my whole life, but in the recent years my passion for training my dogs has increased. I’ve had dogs anywhere from 2 weeks old to 10 years old. I’ve successfully trained my dogs to sit, lay, stay, give paws, walk without leashes, potty train, and many more things. Along with this, recently I’ve began working with other pet owners and their dogs to improve their dogs performance. I’m very excited to get to work with your dogs! We have been blessed with lots of outside space! We have a fenced in backyard so your furry friend can play with others! Our mission is to make your pup have a mini vacation while you do! We also love having weekly visitors! If you’d like your pup to have playtime frequently, you’ve found the right place! I'm a teacher and a lifelong animal lover with a flexible summer schedule, which means I'm home and fully available to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve while you are away. I've owned and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small breeds to large dogs, and I'm comfortable with a wide variety of needs and personalities. Our current fur baby family members include Mya, a 13-year-old lab/hound mix, and Mercury, a 3-year old kitty (who thinks he is a dog). Mya is a lover of all dogs, and Mercury goes with the flow when we have pups visit. I have experience with special needs dogs, including giving medication and extra support. As a teacher, I'm dependable, attentive, patient,and organized. I truly love caring for animals, making them feel safe and loved. During the summer, I'm available to pet care, walks, drop-ins, boarding, and giving lots of love to your fur baby. I have been helping a friend care for dogs through Rover, so I understand how important communication, trust, and reliability is when caring for your pet. One additional bonus - my home is full of animal lovers. I have 3 teens home this summer who absolutely love dogs and cats and enjoy helping give pets extra love, play, walks, and attention. Whether your pet needs exercise, cuddles, special care, or a calm and loving environment, I would be honored to care for them like one of my own. I have 3 busy teens and am volunteering at the Des Moines Playhouse a few hours a week, but am home most of the time. We have a partially fenced in yard in our planning to completely fenced in in the next couple weeks. We live on a quiet street which is a great area to go on walks.

“Ezequiel did drop in visits for my two dogs while I was away for a few days. He has great communication. He was very punctual. He was willing to accommodate my dog who is quite skittish, using my special leash and gate set ups to ensure she did not escape. My Corgi enjoyed him right away. Ezequiel did a great job feeding my dogs who have sensitives, allergies, and not the easiest feeding routine. He offered to wipe the dogs off when they came inside as it was raining nearly the entire time. Would recommend!”

About: I go by Emmy, by the way! Life-long animal lover and owner. I am currently spoiling two dogs, two gerbils, and a planted tank of various aquatic wildlife but have also had lizards and other rodents in the past. I have been mom to dogs who have lived to be 16 and some who lived to be 5 due to various ailments. I discovered I enjoy taking care of special needs dogs and give them the best life they can dream of, especially if they have a tough go before they come to me. I home make dog food, drive my dogs in their car seats for weekly pupcups, and have weekly spa days where I make them smell less stinky. As long as I can fit my own personal daily needs and routines, I can fit watching your pets or house whenever it is needed. I only ask that you be within 5 miles of downtown. One of my dogs is currently in training to get along with stranger dogs, so I will need to do drop bys (no outside animals in my home for now). In their own home, I would just stick to the routine as closely as possible. I also don't like just running in and out, I will give your pet all the love and attention while I'm there. I can also be a pet taxi or just drive your pet for pup cups!

About: Hello, my name is Tara! I specialize in moderate to high intensity walks if your pet likes extra activity, but we can also kick our feet up & people watch out the window! I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, where I developed a lifelong love and respect for them. Since I don’t have pets of my own right now, getting the opportunity to love and care for other people’s pets truly fills my cup. Feel free to message me or shoot me any questions! I work full time, so I can offer the following: Drop Ins 2x/day (over lunch or after 4pm) Walks 1x/day (after 4pm on weekdays & anytime on a weekend day) Whether your pet needs a long walk, medication, playtime, or simply some company while you’re away, I will treat them like they are my own while keeping their unique routine and comfort a priority. I have experience with pets who are anxious, shy, or need a little extra patience when meeting someone new.
