About: Hi! I'm a teacher and a lifelong animal lover with a flexible summer schedule, which means I'm home and fully available to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve while you are away. I've owned and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small breeds to large dogs, and I'm comfortable with a wide variety of needs and personalities. Our current fur baby family members include Mya, a 13-year-old lab/hound mix, and Mercury, a 3-year old kitty (who thinks he is a dog). About: I have well over 24 years caring for dogs. I believe a house isn't a home without a dog. We (me and my family) lost our dog, Teddy, about 11/2 years ago. It has been very hard living without him. I still look for him at the door whenever I come home. We are still heartbroken from his passing. Someday we hope to find the courage to love again. About: My family had dogs growing up so I have some experience walking and playing with dogs. I also have had my cats for about 7 years.
