About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and birds since I was a child. I've been told that animals really feel safe with me. I currently care for my 8-year-old cat at home and have been a dog sitter many times while families are away. I have also administered medication to cats, calmed anxious animals, and cared for high-energy pets. I love playtime with toys to get the zoomies out! I try my best to maintain the schedule and care of the pet owner to keep the animals in a familiar state. It would be my pleasure to help you with your next pet sit. I work from home and have flexibility in my schedule for feeding, walking, playing, and general care of your pet. I keep your furr-baby happy, fed, clean, and entertained while you are away. I can also send photos and check-in on their care. I do not board in my home because I have a sensitive cat. I can consider overnight stays at your home, if necessary. I always treat pets with the love and care they deserve.
“Nicholas has been very helpful as I have went back full time and needed someone to make sure Ms Dakoda gets some fresh air. He gave me updates on her during his drop in visits when I felt like Dakoda wasn’t showing too much interest in food or having upset stomach. Looking for someone who will give you details on your baby I say Nicholas is your guy.”

“Leah is the dog workout master. She works our little 80lb puppy hard. He was whining after she left. She is very polite, respectful of our home and you can tell she truly loves dogs. Thank you Leah. You are a Rockstar.”

“Ms. Dominique followed all my instructions and was very communicative with me which I truly appreciate, I came home from work to a happy fur baby and we couldn’t be more happier with your services. Me and Cash look forward to many more drop ins to come”

“Cecile was a great sitter for both my Pomeranian and Tabby. She was on time, gentle and thoughtful. She made our trip a lot more enjoyable knowing our “ kids” were well cared for.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for pets. I got my first dog when I was 7, and since then I’ve cared for four dogs, two lizards, two parrots, and a pet pig. I’m passionate about understanding each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m patient, responsible, and Pet CPR Certified. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or extra care while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same love and attention I would give my own. 🐾 I’m available most of the time and have a flexible schedule. Please feel free to reach out and ask about availability—I’ll always do my best to accommodate your dates and provide reliable, loving care for your pet. Holidays are welcome too! I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medication instructions (if needed), exercise, playtime, and any special care preferences from their owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their home and their pet’s familiar environment while providing reliable companionship and attentive care. I always take time to understand each pet’s personality, boundaries, and needs, whether they are playful, shy, or need extra patience. About: I currently have a senior dog of 10 years old, and a cat that is 5. I've had my dog since she was 11 months old, and my cat since he was 8 weeks. I've also cared for my friends' cats and dogs via drop in visits, and housesitting. I'm comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes, as well as different temperaments like anxious, reactive, etc. I currently work full time from home during the day, but I am flexible. Just let me know what you need and we can discuss. I make sure that I build trust with your animals. This is very important, and I feel this is similar to building trust with humans. I won't rush your pet into liking me, nor engaging with me. I go at their pace. I play close attention to animal behavior to make sure they feel safe and comfortable.
“Rammiyah took great care of my cat while I was out of town! She sent adorable pictures, took time to do a meet and greet, and was great at staying in touch. I would definitely recommend her for your pet needs”

“Ivanis was fantastic! She cared for our dogs, administered medication, and spent quality time with them during her hour visit. Highly recommend Ivanis for anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Khalil and Vania were responsive to my request for service. They were professional in all correspondence. The meet and greet went well and I decided to book them to provide drop-in cat sitting for my 3-year-old Calico cat. I received photos and videos throughout my trip away. I was thankful for the updates and happy to know that my cat was receiving quality care that included feeding, litter box cleaning, and social interaction and play. I would book with them again and recommend.”

“Katie was an instant hit with our cats and us! We met her once before we left and we left feeling very confident that our cats And home would be cared for. She sent pictures everyday and left notes. We will use her again for sure! ❤️”

Now looking for another aspect of the vet field of helping your fur baby or babies. I do work full time but have Friday-sunday off as my regular schedule. So I'm fully available to take care or stay overnight for pet care for those quick weekend getaways. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lithonia. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
