A typical day
A typical day for me starts with checking in on the pet to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and ready for the day. I follow their feeding schedule exactly as instructed and refresh their water bowl. If they need medication, I give it on time and keep an eye on how they’re feeling. During the day, I make sure we have plenty of fun and playtime. That might include long walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, or just running around outside to burn off energy. For cats, it could be laser pointer games, feather toys, or cozy cuddle time. I always try to match their energy level and personality so they stay engaged and happy. I also spend quiet time with them, whether that’s belly rubs, brushing, or just sitting together so they feel safe and loved. Before the day ends, I clean up any messes, refresh food and water if needed, and send updates and pictures to the owner so they know their pet had a fun, safe, and enjoyable day.

Khaleigh was great! We always feel nervous leaving our pets and she helped us feel relaxed and comfortable with them in her care. She was able to follow our instructions for 6 pets (3 cats and 3 dogs) including medication administration, senior dog care, and mobility assistance. She communicated with us and we felt they were very safe and cared for.
