“Sarah established an immediate rapport with my very snarky cat, and spent some good time with her over the weekend. Feeding and substantial cleanup were accomplished to specifications. All went swimmingly.”

“Had a wonderful experience booking Vicki to check in on my cat while I was away for Thanksgiving! She was prompt in her responses, flexible with scheduling, and sent me lots of photos and updates every time she came over. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that my cat was well taken care of while I was away; Vicki had a very gentle and calm demeanor when my cat and I initially met her as well, so I knew my sweet pet would be in great hands. She also checked my mail for me and left it in my apartment for when I returned which was a very nice touch.”

“Melissa is such a thoughtful and wonderful cat sitter! She truly understands cats and was so wonderful caring for Jeremy. As he ages, he has new needs and quirks and she took all the info in stride and kept me fully updated. It’s a great relief to not be worried while away.”

“Alexandra was great to our two fur babies. She came to meet them in advance and they already seemed to like her. She was able to give one of our cats his medications each time she came, she played with them, and she gave them lots of love. She was also very prompt in her communication and provided lots of pictures each time.”

“Emily was absolutely wonderful! My 11 year old cat was snuggling with her when she visited. Emily took great care of my baby and sent me photos and videos of her when I was traveling. I highly recommend Emily and will definitely reach out to her next time we go away!”

“Victoria went above and beyond to take care of our kitty—over the holiday season and regardless of a blizzard that made travel difficult, she showed up! The updates and photos were so appreciated and thank you for bringing in our packages and deliveries too. Highly recommend and will book with her again!”

About: I have trained two puppies, and taken care of a senior dog who sadly recently passed. I understand the patience required for both ends of the spectrum. Currently my puppy is just 9 months old, and very sweet with all other pets. I can help with socialisation, or just general care and walking, whatever you need! I am a graduate student in a very flexible program, just working a few hours a week at Bard College, the rest of the time at home. I have access to a yard, and my friendly puppy to play with. I am happy to follow feeding schedules, and can maintain training routines. I have a crate if your dog needs their safe space.
“Katherine took great care of my cat while I was out of town for a few days. I was able to rest easy knowing Katherine would be there to check on her each morning. She was very communicative and professional, and I would definitely book again.”

About: I've cared for many cats and dogs, from pit bulls to terriers to English bulldogs. I have experience with puppy training, senior dog care, and oral medication administration. I'm a patient and compassionate pet owner, and I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love and care I would my own. I'm also a graduate music student in case your pet might want to be serenaded by a french horn :) I'm a musician and graduate student at Bard. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I always have a good idea of what my schedule will look well in advance. In addition, I am generally free most mornings, and can often be flexible. I'm very happy to provide your dog(s) with walks, food, brushing, bathing, and medication. I love to play fetch with dogs, go on walks or hikes, visit dog parks, cuddle, practice tricks, or any other enriching activity. With cats, I love to cuddle, play, and practice or try new tricks with treats.
“Grettel took great care of our cats! She was always on time for their feedings and spent lots of extra time giving them attention and love. She also sent me lots of videos and pictures! It was really nice to see how happy and cared for they were while I was away! We would definitely book with Grettel again!”

“Monica was an excellent cat sitter! She was very communicative, thorough and great at her job. I was nervous about leaving our new kitten so soon after adopting her, but I had these plans in the calendar for a while. Monica went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. I was very happy. Will definitely be booking Monica again in the future.”

“Kelsey took great care of my cat, Perse, with her drop in visits. She made sure Perse had food, treats, clean litter, and sat with her to provide Perse with pets and attention. She was also very communicative. Highly recommend!”

“Bridget went above and beyond to take care of our cat while we were away on a trip. Communication with Bridget was great and we were able to trust that our cat was in great hands. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Joe was fantastic! He came over to the house before we left to meet my kitty and discuss her care, which was really nice. Joe was very concerned about her well-being while we were gone and kept us posted with pictures and texts. I would be extremely comfortable leaving Juniper with Joe again.”

“Savannah was so amazing with our cat Tami She is truly a special cat lover and caretaker We came home to a calm and happy kitty! We enthusiastically recommend her!!!”

Lincoln Park cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah is absolutely the best pet sitter I’ve ever had from Rover. She is a real professional. She communicates with me by phone if I call or by text and photos and videos. She knows just what I want to know about and let me know it. I feel very safe and secure from my darling kitty. Eleanor when she’s there. Thank you, Sarah.

Victoria went above and beyond to take care of our kitty—over the holiday season and regardless of a blizzard that made travel difficult, she showed up! The updates and photos were so appreciated and thank you for bringing in our packages and deliveries too. Highly recommend and will book with her again!

Shana is always great with my lovely little moody princess of a kitty Suzie. Her reports are always detailed and she is great about responding to any questions or concerns i have. Shana is my go-to petsitter, and leaving Suzie for my visits with family is much less of an emotional hardship for me knowing she is in Shana's attentive care.
