“It’s always hard to leave a family member home with a sitter. Janey is different. She cares for your pet as a member of her family. I’ve met Janey a few times before leaving on my 4 night trip. I started with a meet and greet. Then I scheduled a 4 hour house visit. So by my scheduled trip I knew that Colbie would be comfortable with her. I had a few “asks” of her during the stay and she fulfilled them up to my expectations. I knew after the first night that I didn’t need to get pictures and updates from her. I was able to enjoy my vacation to its fullest. As I returned, I asked if she would do it again and she said yes. I will be using Janey again for upcoming monthy house visits and another vacation or two. Can’t go wrong with Janey.”

About: I have been an avid dog lover my whole life, growing up with many dogs in the home. As a teen I trained a golden retriever, Cooper, to be a therapy dog and he was the youngest dog ever to be certified by the Humane Society’s therapy program. I also worked at a vet office assisting staff with dogs in their care, taking them on walks, administering medication, and helping dog parents handle high energy or nervous dogs during appointments. During college I walked a local dog named Ridley weekly and when I moved to LA for a year I walked and pet sit a good boy named Prynce. I love walking and caring for dogs, it’s a joy to meet new fluffy friends and have a great time outdoors. I am a recent college graduate looking to start my career in wildlife conservation and am hoping for part time work while I apply to jobs. My schedule is very open! The safety of the dog comes first! I am very meticulous about following the directions of the owner and will always be available to call or text for any questions or updates on your pet.

About: I have owned and cared for 4 dogs (1 lab, 2 beagles, 1 mutt), and 5 cats (3 orange tabby cats, 1 longhair black cat, 1 calico) in my lifetime, and I always play with the pet at the party. My favorite dog is the beagle and my favorite cat is orange but I love them all. I am available nearly every day and most evenings. I know how to quickly win over a pet with genuine display of empathy and affection. Knowing the spot to scratch also helps. I have very long legs and walk miles daily, so I can outwalk most dogs and keep up with them as they chase birds and mongoose. If they are not yet tired from the walk, I love playing tug-of-war afterwards. My life goal is to own a large yard, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I am working towards that goal every day. I am currently working part-time as a theatre teacher. My teaching hours are 9-3 on Tuesdays and 11-3 on Thursdays/Fridays. I do theatre and improv most weekends in the evenings. Otherwise I am very available! I only use leashes that are secure. I keep a tight grip on a leash and wrap it around my fist to be safe. I am good about checking and securing gates.

About: Dogs of all sizes and breeds were a part of my family growing up. I've pet-sit for friends on trips, including caring for a senior dog, and multiple pets (2 pups and 3 cats) at once in the same home. I've fostered a few times, including a puppy being treated for heartworm but, my current place doesn't allow me the opportunity to care for animals. I'm able to provide care for your pets in your home and neighborhood. If they're on a special diet or require a specific feeding method, please let me know. I also have experience in giving baths, applying treatments, and administering medication. When taking pups on walks, I like to be mindful of the time and temperature so the pups aren't walking on burning asphalt. I also like to be mindful of cleaning up after your pups, so we're not leaving a mess for the community if we can help it. I can check-in on, play, feed, walk, and give attention to your pups. I'm available during the week and on the weekends, including nights. If you require walks &/or feeding outside of my available neighborhoods, there might be some additional fees depending on distance and time of day (if applicable). I'm able to pet sit in your home so that your pups are more comfy and relaxed. I like to provide a calm atmosphere for them, giving them lots of attention based on their needs, and try my best to stick to their routines. I'm available to stay the night or do drop-ins. I'm not a partier, and believe in taking care when handling other's things so rest assured that your home is in good hands.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since last year. My neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and take care of their pets whenever they go on vacation. I'm currently applying to work at various hotels. I'm avaliable after 2 pm on weekdays, and I'm also avaliable on the weekends, but it varies depending on what I have going for me that week. In my home I feed, and walk our dog. I play with him. and make sure he gets the proper attention he needs. I also make sure he is secure at night. When walking him, if he wants to meet other dog friends on the way, we do that, but I make sure both dogs are calm and happy before engaging.
