About: Aloha! I’m Morgana, a longtime Oʻahu local, lifelong animal lover, and someone who’s generally happiest around animals, the ocean, or both! I have a degree in Marine Science from UH Mānoa and have spent years working and volunteering with animal care and conservation organizations here in Hawaiʻi and abroad. Animals have always been a big part of my life, whether they’re furry, feathered, or swimming in the ocean. I’ve also spent time working in a veterinary setting, which has taught me to pay attention to the little things, like changes in an animal’s behavior, appetite, or energy. Every pet has their own personality and routine, and I really enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel happy, safe, and comfortable. Outside of work, I’m a creative person who loves music, , hiking, and reading. I’m just as happy going for a nice walk as I am having a quiet evening at home with a furry companion curled up nearby. I’ve also spent years managing and caring for private homes also a prior Airbnb host/owner so I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with someone in your space. I’m tidy, respectful, communicative, and always try to leave everyplace I go a little better than I found it. One of my favorite things about pet sitting is getting to know each animal’s little quirks and building a relationship with them over time. Whether your pet is a cuddle bug, a playful goofball, or a slightly suspicious cat who needs a little time to warm up, I’m happy to meet them where they are and my goal is pretty simple: happy pets :) and owners who can enjoy their time away without worrying about what’s happening back home. And yes, I’m always happy to send photos and little updates along the way! 🐾 I work a hybrid schedule here in Honolulu, so my mornings, evenings, and weekends are when I have the most flexibility for pet care. I enjoy starting and ending my day with some fresh air, a walk, and a little animal companionship! Some days/weeks I have the ability to work remotely other times I will go into the office. For overnight stays, I’m happy to keep pets comfortable in their own home and maintain their usual feeding, walking, and bedtime routines. I know every animal has different needs, so I always like to chat with owners beforehand to make sure my schedule is a good fit. I’m especially happy to build ongoing relationships with local families and become a familiar, trusted face for their pets. I think the best pet-sitting relationships start with good communication and a little trust on both sides! I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet in person or virtual before booking so we can get acquainted, go over expectations, and most importantly, make sure your pet feels comfortable with me. Being local to Oʻahu makes this especially easy, and I love having the opportunity to meet families in person. When staying in someone’s home, I’m mindful of their privacy, belongings, and household preferences. I like to ask questions upfront rather than make assumptions, whether that’s about visitors, household rules, emergency contacts, or your pet’s favorite hiding spot. I’m also a big believer in keeping owners in the loop. I’m happy to share little photo updates, funny moments, and reassurance that everything is going smoothly. My goal is for you to feel like you’ve left your home and furry family members with a trusted friend, not a stranger.

About: As owner of Doggie Paddles for nearly 25 years,I'm confident regarding my ability to anticipate the needs of both pets and their owners. This doesn't mean I dont take a huge amount of notes from everything about your dogs health to the location of your breaker box. I've cared for every size dog from teacup to giant. Some impeccably trained, others not so much and have loved them all equally. I currently work from 830 am to 330 pm in an office in Temple Valley Monday through Friday. For cats, this shouldn't affect their care. For dogs it means I'd be leaving Kaneohe for your home to complete the mid-day visit. This isn't an issue as long as I know it's expected. I'm a non-smoker and rarely cook in an owners kitchen. Privacy/security is important to me. I'm off the grid as far as socials go and ask who knows your off island and what cars should be in your driveway.
