“This is our Nala's second stay with Jacque and her family. They did a great job taking care of her with patience and understanding, as she is not quite the warm and fuzzy type with new people. She had an experience with a trainer when she was a puppy which left her very fearful and sometimes aggressive towards anyone outside of our family. With lots of patience, Jacque and her family were able to peel some of that fear away. All the pictures and videos of her playing with other dogs and sitting on the couch and hanging out with the family is a huge deal for Nala and for our family. About: I have owned and cared for 4 dogs (1 lab, 2 beagles, 1 mutt), and 5 cats (3 orange tabby cats, 1 longhair black cat, 1 calico) in my lifetime, and I always play with the pet at the party. My favorite dog is the beagle and my favorite cat is orange but I love them all. I am available nearly every day and most evenings. I know how to quickly win over a pet with genuine display of empathy and affection. Knowing the spot to scratch also helps. I have very long legs and walk miles daily, so I can outwalk most dogs and keep up with them as they chase birds and mongoose. If they are not yet tired from the walk, I love playing tug-of-war afterwards. My life goal is to own a large yard, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I am working towards that goal every day. I am currently working part-time as a theatre teacher. My teaching hours are 9-3 on Tuesdays and 11-3 on Thursdays/Fridays. I do theatre and improv most weekends in the evenings. Otherwise I am very available! I only use leashes that are secure. I keep a tight grip on a leash and wrap it around my fist to be safe. I am good about checking and securing gates.

I don't mind if your pet needs pills, has a special diet, or needs extra care. I'm only available during the week as I work from home part-time and have plenty of time to exercise and care for your pet(s). I have a backyard with ducks that they can play with as long as they don't attack other animals. It's not fenced so they would be supervised the whole time. Otherwise, they can stay inside our spacious 3 bedroom home. There is a park 5 minutes away that I can walk them to and let them off-leash if you think that is okay.

I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, routines, and energy levels! Last year I moved to the Big Island and house sat a farm for 10 months ( there were donkeys, chickens,cats and dogs there that I took car of). Felix is moderate-high energy at times but i’ve noticed he stays away from dogs when i have them over but is still curious of them and will spy from his hiding spots. About: Hello, My husband works as a scientist and I work for the department of education as an athletic trainer. We have a 2 and 5 year old that love animals. I am comfortable giving injections or pills if need be. We like to stay as active as possible and go on hikes, beach, walks as much as we can. The area we live is safe and quite place. There is a duck pond right next store and a park right across the street. My husband and I have been pet lovers since we were kids. He was raised with cats, birds and dog. While I was raised with dogs. We recently lost our English Bulldog of twelve years and even though we would like to get another dog in the future we would be happy watching your pets in the mean time. We do have little kids. They are 2 and 4 years old. We would prefer to watching dogs that are use to little kids. I don't work till the afternoon so morning walks are a must. About: I’ve had pets at my family home since day I was born and I’ve taken care of various friends or families pets while they’ve been on vacations or in emergencies. I’ve raised puppies and kittens, so I have experience with younger animals as well. My baby back home in Minnesota is a Newfoundland, so trust me I’m ok with big dogs, and my husky is a ball of energy so I can take dogs with strength. I’m also interested in running with dogs! I currently am a barista at a Starbucks in Waikiki, and work 3-5 days a week normally around 30 hours, but otherwise I do online school; so I can do class from anywhere at anytime and have a lot of free time. My pets are used to having walks, or being in gated off areas. My husky is a sprinter so I’m good at being aware of what doors I’m leaving open and making sure she’s securely where she should be.

About: I grew up with a Vet dad, so we always had animals around and were always learning how to give them the happiest, healthiest life ever! I work from home with 3 female cats. All girls are fixed and not aggressive to new comers but we are big on maintaining distance until your fur baby is ready to socialize. Since I work from home, I am always around for the cats and love to make my home a fun environment. I have high windows with cat hammocks, lots of toys, scratchers, a cat wheel for unlimited exercise, and comfy beds to keep your cat entertained, comfortable and relaxed. I maintain a chemical and scent free home, cleaning our litter boxes 2x times a day, and make sure that our treats are low in calorie with wholesome ingredients. All high climbing areas, hammocks and tall scratchers are at view of where I normally work so I keep a close eye to ensure their safety, and keep all human food and treats far from their reach. I am all about safety, health, and relaxation so during the working day your cats will hear soothing music meant for anxious or scared cats and have automatic water fountains with filtered water for hydration. I also have a few battery powered toys to keep your cats mind stimulated even when myself or other cats aren’t actively playing with them.
About: My love for animals runs deep. I have two wonderful cats that I adore. I often take my friend's dogs on walks and runs and would love to take yours too. I make sure to get playtime with your cats too and plenty of pets unless they prefer their space. I am good at reading animals' vibe and knowing when to leave them alone or engage. Of course, if you have any special requests, I'd be more than happy to complete them. If I watch your cat here, they would get to be with me in the largest room which is the office where I spend most of my time so they don't feel alone. I have hiding places and places to lay out in the sun. The room can be closed off in case they don't want to be around my cats. I don't mind if your pet needs pills, has a special diet, or needs extra care. I'm only available during the week as I work from home part-time and have plenty of time to exercise and care for your pet(s). I have a backyard with ducks that they can play with as long as they don't attack other animals. It's not fenced so they would be supervised the whole time. Otherwise, they can stay inside our spacious 3 bedroom home. There is a park 5 minutes away that I can walk them to and let them off-leash if you think that is okay.
About: Most recently in March 2022, I enjoyed housesitting a sharpei for 3 weeks. Before that I housesat a very adorable golden doodle for a week. In 2021, my friends would often leave their dogs with me when they would travel lasting from days - weeks. I recently completed the Google UX Design Certificate. Therefore, I’ll be job hunting full time; I have time throughout the day to walk, feed, and hang out with your dog! Since I will be housesitting, your dog will be familiar and comfortable in their own home, decreasing the possibility of anxiety and maximizing their comfort!

She is always works to fit my schedule and be available, takes good care of my pup, and keeps me appraised of any issues (there are usually never any, but for example my dog at one point didn't want to walk bc his knees are getting old, nothing to do with the booking, and we were able to work together to find a solution). More than that, recently I got stuck for 11 hours on a layover returning home and my booking with Madi had already ended. I was so worried about my dog though being stuck inside for that long,and not being able to use the bathroom for 11+ hours, so I reached out to Madi and she made time to come let my dog out so he could use the bathroom while I was stuck away in another state in the airport!
