We work from home full‑time, so your pup gets tons of attention, frequent potty breaks, playtime, and snuggles all day long. We don’t have children, but we do share our home with our Pomeranian, who enjoys calm, well‑mannered dog friends. In the afternoon and early evening, we do another round of walks or backyard play, dinner on their normal schedule, and then wind‑down snuggles so they can relax and feel at home before bedtime. In our home, safety and comfort come first. We live in a quiet, clean, loving home with a large, fully fenced yard with turf, so dogs can enjoy fresh air and playtime in a secure space. We don’t have children, and we only host one guest dog at a time, which keeps things calm, low‑stress, and focused on your pup. Our own 7.5‑year‑old Pomeranian is friendly with calm, respectful dogs, and we do a careful meet & greet to be sure everyone is a good match before a stay. We follow your dog’s normal routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, and bedtime, and we’re comfortable giving basic medications and following detailed instructions. Doors, gates, and leashes are always double‑checked, and we supervise outdoor time so your dog is never left unattended in the yard. We know it’s a big deal to trust someone with your furry family member, so we keep communication open and easy. We send regular photo and video updates, let you know how your dog is settling in, and reach out with any questions. About: Aloha! I (Ari) adopted "Dogtor" Juju on the Big Island of Hawai'i when he was just 6 weeks old. Before moving back to Orange County (where I was born and raised), Juju eventually became famous on the Big Island for his incredible ability to invite even the most aggressive dogs to feel safe -- including known "killer" dogs, antisocial dogs who hadn't made a single friend in their entire lives, and older dogs with terminal illnesses who hadn't wagged their tails in months. For this valued skill, which makes communities safer and more joyful for all beings, he earned the nickname “the Killer Whisperer.” Play is so important for dogs, and is absolutely healing when it comes to building confidence and trust. Juju helps other dogs break their aggressive or antisocial patterns, and his methods are tailored to each dog’s unique temperament. A healing session might look like him just coexisting calmly in the same space with your dog without any of the habitual tension that may typically be experienced with other dogs. I’ve been told by hundreds of owners that Juju is the first friend their antisocial or aggressive dogs have ever had. Results will carry over to how your dog will interact with other dogs in the future, as they will now have experience with non-violent dog-to-dog interactions. Dogtor Juju is great with puppies, too -- with his sensitive approach tailored to each dog's temperament (he is great at reading body language cues), he models social etiquette and harmonious co-existing with other dogs and humans. Dogtor Juju facilitates group play as well between dogs who have never met before, de-escalating tension and creating an atmosphere where all dogs feel safe to connect non-violently. I have had dogs ever since I can remember, and began cat-sitting at 10 years old. I adopted an intuitive approach in training Juju, using primarily vocal commands to teach Juju recall skills and safe off-leash play. I am also a musician and have witnessed beautiful moments of de-escalation with aggressive dogs through playing my ukulele or singing (which breaks patterns of barking and sends soothing sound waves into situations of high tension). I’ve done a bunch of dog-sitting and walking jobs in Hawaii (outside of the Rover app), and I truly love getting to know each unique being I take care of, and creating rituals of familiarity with them (through providing structure and patterns of what to expect) so they feel safe to explore and play. About: I’ve had my own pets since I was young. I have a turtle and a cat but unfortunately, I just lost my second family dog of old age and my first due to cancer. I’m not quite ready for a dog just yet but I’d love to be around them more! I make my own schedule right now so I have a lot of time to play and hangout with pets! I also walk everyday so it would be nice to have a companion! In my home now, it would be easy to care for a smaller dog since I live in a condo but I live right on the canal with a very lengthy path for walking pets!

About: I had dogs since I was very young. As a child, I wanted to grow up to become a vet, but I realized I'm allergic to cats, and some dogs. Even with allergies I'll still watch them because I love them and that's what allergy pills are for 😆. Care taking animals at home is one of my dream jobs, and I'm very lucky to be able to have a safe space for my furry friends to hang out at. I've been fostering with Paws of Hawaii for almost 3 years. I love being able to help provide a home to those in need, and it's so much fun seeing all the different personalities. I just love being surrounded by dogs. I like to train simple and fun tricks with them! My house basically became a doggy day care with fosters and dog sitting my friends furbabies! I'm currently working part time for music and acting so I have a lot of time. I spend most days hanging out with my dog, a foster, and sometimes my friends dog when I get asked to dogsit. I have a fenced yard, 1 dog of my own, and usually 1 foster or 2 fosters. We hang out multiple times a day out in the yard, to play and relax. They are allowed to roam around the house, I'm very attentive. I also have a crate for when I need to leave the house. All dogs are crate trained, and fed in the crate at my house. I change out the water frequently and give them filtered water.

About: Hi, I’m Chloe! I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds, and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, routines, and energy levels! I’ve also cared for family and friends’ pets for years, helping with walks, feeding, and keeping them company. I really love animals and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Since I’m not currently working, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets my full attention. I’m home a lot, so I’m able to keep a close eye on them, stick to their routines, and make sure they get lots of care, playtime, and company throughout the day I live in a townhouse with my dog Roxy and my three kittens. Roxy is a small Chihuahua, very energetic, friendly, and used to being around other animals. My cats are also very social and comfortable in a multi-pet home. It’s a calm, pet-friendly space where animals are part of everyday life. I also love staying active with walks, trips to the dog park, and going to the beach when the weather’s nice. About: I've always been the girl on the street to watch neighbors dogs, pigs,kids,farm animals, you name it. Last year I moved to the Big Island and house sat a farm for 10 months ( there were donkeys, chickens,cats and dogs there that I took car of). I have a golden retriever of my own and grew up around all sorts of animals. I'm also Vegan so you'll know there in good hands <3. I work part time and have weekends off, I usually take my dog on hikes or to the beach every single day. I work 10 minutes from my house and my shits are 4 hours long, I have 2 roommates that could also help take them potty if I'm working. I have a fenced in yard and a safe environment for your pets. Your pets have to be friendly with other dogs because I have a year old golden retriever .

About: *please note that if you have more than one animal Rover will increase the standard fee. Depending on the dogs/ages/breeds price can be negotiated* *Extended dog-sitting at your place is a dual service. Essentially house-sitting as I will be there the entire time so one less worry* I have had jobs both caring for pets in a daycare experience as well as walking and caring for pets overnight. I am natural with animals, especially; dogs. I understand positive reinforcement as well as keeping the dogs/cats under the same training as the owners. I believe animals should be treated with the same respect as our human counterparts. I have personally had a Dalmation and English Bulldog as my furry friends. I believe that doggy daycare / pet visitors should be the standard if the owners are unable to be home with them. Dogs can suffer from anxiety just like humans and it is important that we acknowledge this need. If you're here then that means you care about your pets well-being. Thank you 😊 I am not a "vacant" dog walker (or dog sitter) doing this for extra cash. I am doing it because I love to do it & I will provide your animal the best possible treatment according to it's needs.
