About: I grew up on a farm here in Dane County and have experience looking after many species: large animal, small animal, fish, reptiles, birds, and of course cats and dogs! I have officially been petsitting since 2018 but have watched the pets of friends and family much longer than that. I received my degree in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences from UW Madison in 2023 with an emphasis in nutrition, and I worked at a pet food store for 6 years previous to that, so I am happy to accommodate any special feeding requests. I own two large protection breed dogs myself, but have also owned and petsat small breed dogs, so I have no size or breed exception. I am happy to work with reactive dogs as long as you help me to have a thorough understanding of what scares/upsets them. Please reach out to me if you have any questions! I am happy to do overnights, stay long term, or do just quick drop ins. I currently am working 8:30-5 M-F so I am typically unavailable during those hours. I am happy to do overnights, long term stays, drop in visits, or walks I make sure to go over all of the owners requests and requirements and to follow all rules. I am clean and tidy and will leave your house as I found it.

About: I grew up caring for pets of all kinds, and for the past six years have cared for a behaviorally complex (but wonderful!) rescue pup. Our journey has taught me a ton about training, and about patience. As a result, I am very understanding of dogs and other animals that deal with reactivity — we are a shame-free household! Samantha was phenomenal. Very communicative and took great care of our girls on her drop ins. I always get nervous meeting a new Rover, but she made sure they were able to go potty, played with them, and snuggle them. Would highly recommend her and hope to have her stop by again in the future
I cannot say enough about how wonderful Sophie was! She is an excellent communicator—always replied quickly and clearly to messages, and when in person, she not only listened attentively to all the things I was sharing but also consolidated it into a plan for her time with Action Jackson, which she formulated and articulated before she left our meet-&-greet. During the days of drop-in sitting with my kitty, she was amazing with some last minute flexibility, which helped me a ton. She sent several pics for each drop-in and wrote about how things went. You could see she executed her plan and provided active play for my kitty. She even helped with logistics of dropping off / picking up my keys. Could not have been more grateful for her help! Truly recommend!!
Ann continues to be a top choice for me when it comes to finding a sitter for my 13 year old cat who has several medical needs. She has always left my home better than she found it, going as far as washing dishes in the sink that I left behind. She provides the most through, heartwarming updates, and is extremely punctual and reliable. I was so glad I had Maddie watching my cats while I was gone. She kept me updated with photos and any other little info that she thought would be helpful for me to know while I was gone. It put me at ease to know my cats had her checking on them consistently and showing them love.
Calvin went above and beyond to make sure that my cat was happy and well cared for while I was out of town. He was very communicative, sending regular updates and photos. He was always happy to help and incredibly flexible. I would highly recommend Calvin to look after your pets.
Ruby was a fantastic cat visitor! Communication was clear and timely throughout, and I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in good hands.
