I grew up with all sorts of pets( horses, dogs, cats, fish, chickens, parakeets, reptiles) and have always been an “animal” person. I am comfortable giving medications and I am very detail oriented. I have been described as responsible, reliable, and respectful. I know hard it can be to leave your furry family member with someone new. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and health would be my top priority. I would love to meet your dog or cat(or horse,or chickens,or livestock, or reptiles!) and love them like my own(who aren’t spoiled at all ;) ) I currently work part time, so I would have plenty of time to make sure your pet is properly cared for daily. I do not work on the weekends and would be happy to walk or play with your dog/cat all weekend. I am quick to respond to any potential issues that may arise in the moment. I am keen on reading pets behaviors and body language and can act appropriately. I am very responsible and respectful not only of your pets, but of your space as well.

About: Hi! My name is Kristen and I come with many years of pet care experience and ownership. I had cats growing up and watched my neighbor’s pugs when they went on vacation. Now I have my own dog, which is the ultimate training for pet care! Additionally, I have experience caring for puppies as a foster parent for the SPCA. I’m currently a first year medical student at Western, where I have a mixed schedule of in-person class, Zoom class and studying at home. While at home, I enjoy study breaks by playing with your pup and taking them on long walks with my own dog. I love taking the dogs on local hikes and adventures around town. I am very active so your dog will come home happy and tired! I have two fenced yards and three dogs living at the house, so your dog will not be lonely! If your pup was to join our pack for the day or an extended stay, they would have full access to the house and yards, along with TONS of dog toys.

Growing up I was always the trusted one to stay back and keep the animals safe, happy, healthy, and of course give them lots of love. I absolutely adore puppies. I have 3 high drive dogs of my own who I’m very dedicated training. I love to incorporate some manner building/training with all the pups I get the honor of being with. I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. If you need someone to go on a walk with ur pup, someone to drop in for some play time, or to hangout with them the whole day then I’m your go to! I can’t wait to meet your fur kids! Thursdays and Saturdays are my most free days for walks but I can be available for drop ins around my work hours! I work full time as a dog groomer- dogs are seriously my whole life! In my home my personal dogs are crate trained! So if you have a pup who isn’t the biggest fan of other dogs, don’t you worry!! dogs who will be riding in my vehicle will be placed in a crate for their own safety. I do ask for dogs who are staying at my house to be kennel trained for their own safety. Things are always put up and dogs always have eyes on them when out and roaming around. Sometimes dogs can be un easy being somewhere new, so a kennel for night time is a great spot for them to unwind and keep as safe as possible. I do have a fenced yard to stretch their legs, get sniffs, and some awesome play time!
