About: I've been a pet owner for 30 years and have been a part of a dog rescue for the past 5 years where I have fostered and adopted out over 10 dogs. I currently have two dogs and a cat who are used to visiting animals in and out of the house. I'm currently working from home during the week so I'll have plenty of time to interact with your fur babies! I can provide boarding any day of the week, and can host more than 1 dog at a time. While I'm home the animals are free roam and are welcome in any room in the house . However if there is a concern with cat reactivity I can block off an area where visiting dogs cannot get to cat area. At night pets are kenneled in their own 4x4 foot kennel space.

“I highly recommend Kayleigh. I needed someone to take care of my older cat (Boots) with health issues for over 3 weeks while I was in Europe. Due to her health issues Boots needs to be fed twice a day. Kayleigh did an excellent job. Boots obviously enjoyed having Kayleigh take care of her. Kayleigh is very responsive and very responsible. I got pictures/reports every day and I never worried about Boots. I had to add an extra day at the end and that occurred effortlessly while I was still in Europe. Kayleigh took excellent care of Boots and I will have her take care of Boots again.”

I lucked out that she was available on short notice for a holiday weekend. Over the four days I was traveling, she visited twice daily and sent me detailed and well organized updates about how my two kitties were doing and what she did each visit. She sent photos for each visit and even asked if she could bring some of her own kitty’s favorite lollipops to share as a treat. When one of my cats wouldn’t take his meds, she followed up about how to handle and she also located a few items I had forgot to set out for her. I was able to thoroughly enjoy my trip without worrying about my kitties being lonely because I knew they were in great hands, especially because they’d been fighting lately and she accommodated my unique setup to keep them separated. About: I've loved cats since I got my first kitten at 7 years old. I have experience caring for cats throughout all stages of their Lifespan. My 4 year old cat needs friends to play with! I'm also getting ready to rescue a 6 month old kitten from Oklahoma. I also share a staffy with my boyfriend and love taking him to the dog park and for walks. I work from home so I'm almost always home with Apollo except for trips to the store or gym. I also have a sibling who stays at home, so there will always be someone home for your cat or dog I have a fenced in yard, and a cat and dog to keep your pet company! About: Hello! I'm a senior at Virginia Tech majoring in animal science. I’m taking classes over the summer so rather than working at another vet clinic, I decided to petsit so I have more time to study. I have been working on and off at vet clinics during school breaks for 4 years and I can't wait to meet you and your precious children (pets)! I will be available almost any time, given that most of my classes are virtual right now. Thankfully that means I have more time to hang with your pups! I live with a cat, and I try to limit her interactions with new pets as this tends to stress her out, so my availability is mostly directed at coming to your house to take care of your dogs and cats or take your animals on walks.
