“Kathryn was amazing! So warm and inviting to me and my dog Romeo! The kids loved on him just like he was their own. I got pics of him everyday and I’ve never seen a smile so big on his face! She made him feel at home and made me feel at ease knowing he was being taken care of in a safe and happy environment! This was my first time boarding him and I absolutely will be calling her in the future! 10/10!”

“They were wonderful with my sweet Minerva! I got regular updates on how she was doing and they were so very kind. After an unexpected extra day of being gone, they even kept her an extra day happily. There was the cutest outside and inside area the pups had free access to. It wasn't like a kennel where she was cooped up all day. She had play time and fun with the other pups. She didn't even want to leave. As we were leaving, she kept pulling on her leash back to Brooke. This is a dog who doesn't pull on leash without being exceptionally sure of what she wants. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They also allow you to see the area the pups are kept before you book which was great!”

“Oh my word. Rebekah was a life-saver. We had a last-minute booking, and at the Meet & Greet, any fears I had were out the window. She is so friendly and welcoming that my pup ran right to her! She has a spacious yard, a spacious dedicated area for several pups to sleep and stretch and nap (complete with cozy chair), and her joy is incredible! You can tell she really loves her job and does so much to care for the pets she watches. Rebekah was so great with sending updates and pictures - we never worried about our pup at all! It was clear she was in exceptionally good hands with Rebekah! We picked up our puppy, and while she was so excited to see us, she still running up to Rebekah like she was already part of the family! Rebekah gave us a full rundown of the stay, and how much fun our pup had with her and when we got home, our puppy passed OUT from all the excitement, fun, and exercise she was able to have with Rebekah. That made our hearts so happy to know that our pup had so much fun while we were gone! We don't leave her too often because of some of her past experiences with her previous owner. Rebekah really cared for our pup and made sure she was able to just be a dog and have a really good couple of days with a new friend.”

“We were gone for 3 days and got constant updates and pictures and videos. When we picked up our Dixie she was wore out from all the fun she had. Could not recommend more. Will continue to use Heather anytime we need to go out of town. Thank you for treating Dixie as your own!”

“Sonja and Phil did an excellent job looking after our fur babies and we will certainly be repeat customers. They shared multiple pics and updates daily, which set my mind at ease as I am always anxious about boarding them.”

“Lana was amazing with my dogs! I needed a last minute sitter for my two pups at the last minute and she was nice enough to help me out. She is such a nice and genuine person that loves animals! My pups were very comfortable staying with her. Thank you Lana 🙏🏽”

“Amber, goes above and beyond. She’s very responsive and she communicates with me daily by sending pictures and text messages. She ensures that my pet is well taken care of and I can go on vacation and not have to worry. My dog loves going over there. She gets so excited she runs around in circles. I even recommended a friend of mines to use her service and she is very happy that I recommended her.”

“Leo was extremely well taken care of by a loving family. Plenty of space to run and have fun. Thank you Miss Yeni and Mr Ray for taking care of our beloved Leo”
“Kaiser has been to Connie’s a few times for day care. On the 13th we dropped him off for 13 days of boarding. As soon as he realized we were going to her house his tail started wagging and once we got there he couldn’t go in her house fast enough, he nearly yanked her arm off out excitement and. Not going to lie, leaving my fur baby for such a long time to go on vacation, was hard. Connie was very understanding of the helicopter doggy mom that I am. She sent me pictures of him every day and answer my texts as well. As a bonus, Kaiser made a bunch of new friends and Connie took the best Christmas pictures of him. Kaiser will definitely be going back.”

“Absolutely wonderful experience! By far the nicest, most attentive and sweet person you could find. Thank you Lorena so much for taking such good care of my little fur baby. We will definitely be back to see you again!”
“Lovely house and neighborhood. Great yard. Very kind and gentle with my dog. Followed care instructions. Great communication and sent pictures while I was away. Highly recommend”

“Rebecca was able to take our pet over Thanksgiving week as our regular sitter had an emergency. She met with Olympia and from there our we knew our pet was in good hands. Although we were away, we knew our pet had plenty of company to keep her to keep her occupied and entertained in our absence. Thank you Rebecca for opening your home for our girl and keeping her safe until our return.”

“Christie was thoughtful and ensured the safety of all of the pets that were in her care the week we boarded our dog. She did meets and greets with the pets and owners so everyone was comfortable. When we dropped our dog off she was excited to be there and couldn't wait to go in. Our dog enjoyed her time at Christie's. Christie provided videos of the dogs playing.”

“Julie and her family took great care of our dog Penny and treated her as their own. She had a spacious farm to roam and explore and other dogs to socialize with. This was the longest that we have left our dog but Julie provided regular updates of her visit. Our girl returned happy and tired!”

“Meredith is an angel with our sweet pup! She kept him for the duration of our cruise, and updated us with several pictures and a video. She was able to cater to our specific feeding needs, as well as administering medication. We are so lucky to have a puppysitter that treats him with such love and care.”

“**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stephanie is amazing!** Stephanie took care of my dog Max for 4 days, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was incredibly attentive, kept me updated with photos and messages, and made sure Max felt comfortable and loved the entire time. Her home was clean and safe, and Max came back happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much!”

“Tiffany, David, and the kids were absolutely amazing. We were a little nervous leaving our puppy Cooper with anyone since he was so young. when we came for the initial visit I was instantly at ease. All 3 kids played so well with him, they sent pictures of Cooper on walks, cuddling with the kids, and even took him on an adventure to a soccer game! We could not have asked for a better experience and Tiffany & David and the kids will be the first people we call whenever we need someone to watch Cooper. Thank you again!!!”

“Eldeen and her family make my dog, Ruben, feel like he has a second home. I know that when I leave him in their care that he will be taken care of like he’s at home. From the first meet and greet, Eldeen and her family, have made sure that I was comfortable leaving Ruben in their care. They are my go to sitter for Ruben.”

“Traci was wonderful for our girls! Very kind and attentive, sending us daily pictures to put our mind at ease that our girls were happy and well taken care of. She treated them like her own, and for that we are incredibly grateful!”

“Sarah and Jacob are awesome dog lovers who took great care of my big boy! He was so exhausted from playing so hard that when he came home he went right to bed and didn’t move. This was our second time using them and we will continue to use them!”

“Jenni, Thank you so much for feeding our little monsters. I am so so sorry they were mean to you :( I never know how they will react to strangers and I’m sorry they weren’t kind to you. Don’t worry about playing with them later, you can just leave food for them and go home. We appreciate it so much and we’re so sorry!”

“My cat was very happy to spend time and play with Svetlana during my 3-week vacation. Svetlana visited him daily and managed all of the necessities plus play time with my cat. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend her services.”

“Another great experience with Steven! He always sends the best pictures/updates and is very patient with our shy cat. Thanks for always taking such good care of Mikey & Sulley while we are gone!”

“Tiffany, David and their kids were amazing! I needed a last minute cat daycare option and they were incredibly sweet to say yes for a 6 a.m. drop off the next morning. Henry had a lovely time, which including a walk on his leash and a very cold AC vent when he got back. He didn't want to leave, which is a great sign!”

“Angel was awesome! It was last minute and I didn’t have to for a meet and greet. She came in and knew exactly what to do to help our labradoodle feel comfortable! Super responsive and 10/10 recommend”

“Glad to have booked with Rita! She sent pictures kept us updated and was very responsive. We really appreciated her fitting us in and being patient with Fancy since it was her first time. Fancy was definitely in good hands 😊”

“Jessica was amazing. She took great care of my diabetic cat while we were gone over the holidays and even made it to our house for an injection when there was a snowstorm. I also really appreciated her considerate notes on how my cats were doing.”
“Katelyn has been absolutely amazing with our two cats, and we are so sad we won’t be able to continue using her after our move. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and truly cares about the animals she looks after. One of our cats can be very stubborn about taking his medicine, but Katelyn never gives up and always handles it with such calm persistence. She’s also been wonderful with our other cat who takes time to warm up to new people. Katelyn gave him the space and patience he needed, and it made such a difference. We always feel completely comfortable and at ease leaving our cats in her care. She’s reliable, attentive, and goes above and beyond. We are so grateful we found her and will genuinely miss having her watch our cats. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Erika was so great with our two kittens, and we would highly recommend her to anyone! She was very thorough with following our instructions, alerting us when she was coming in, and even helping pick up some packages out front. Our kittens loved her.”

“Shelby took great care of our very reluctant senior cat, Jake. She went over and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable and safe in her presence. “⸻ Pedro had an amazing day with Yeny and Ray! He got plenty of playtime with his new furry friends, Charlie and Leo. When we got home, Pedro was happily tired and ready for bed. Yeny and Ray sent us photos and videos throughout the day, and communication was great. We’ll definitely book with them again!”

“Svetlana took great care of our 2 dogs on a last minute notice for the day. She is so kind, and good with the dogs. Her house is clean and tidy (1 of my dogs likes to chew everything), and she has a nice large fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend her, and will definitely book with her again. Thank you so much!!”

About: Growing up surrounded by the wagging tails of dogs and the gentle purrs of cats, my love for animals has been a lifelong passion. With over six years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to the care of your beloved pets. My background ensures that I am well-equipped to handle any situation with calm and confidence. In addition to my professional experience, I have been an active volunteer and foster for a local dog rescue organization for the past five years. During this time, I have fostered over 70 rescue dogs, providing them with the love, care, and stability they need to thrive and find their forever homes. My extensive experience with both dogs and cats, combined with my veterinary skills and dedication to rescue work, ensures that your pets will receive the highest level of care and attention. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or medical needs, I am committed to making your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you are away. As someone who works from home, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent and attentive care to each pet throughout the day. Here’s a glimpse of how pet care fits into my daily life: Morning Routine: Early Walks: I start the day with early morning walks or playtime in the yard, ensuring that pets get their first burst of energy out and start their day on a positive note. Feeding Time: After exercise, it’s breakfast time. I follow each pet’s specific dietary needs and ensure they have fresh water. Midday Routine: Interactive Play: Mid-morning, I take breaks from work to engage in interactive play sessions or training exercises, stimulating both their minds and bodies. Potty Breaks: Regular potty breaks are scheduled to keep pets comfortable and maintain a routine. Afternoon Routine: Exercise & Walks: Another round of exercise or a walk in the afternoon keeps pets active and happy. For those staying at my home, this might include a visit to a local park or a playdate with other friendly pets. Quiet Time: Pets also enjoy some quiet time while I focus on work, with cozy spaces available for napping and relaxation. Evening Routine: Dinner Time: As the workday winds down, it’s time for their evening meal. I maintain their feeding schedules and monitor their intake. Evening Walks & Play: We finish the day with another walk or play session, ensuring they are tired and content for the night. Nightly Routine: Before bed, I provide another potty break and some final cuddles or quiet time to help them settle in for a restful night. Weekend Routine: Extra Attention: Weekends often include extra activities like longer walks, visits to pet-friendly places, or more extended play sessions to make the most of the extra time. Working from home allows me to be present and responsive to the needs of each pet, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve throughout the day. This routine provides a balanced blend of work and pet care, creating a harmonious and happy environment for everyone. Caring for Pets in My Home: I live in a Townhouse with a fully fenced in backyard. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of space for them to explore and play. Each pet gets individual attention tailored to their needs, including regular exercise, feeding schedules, and plenty of affection. I have designated areas for sleeping, eating, and playing to ensure their comfort and happiness. Additionally, I maintain a pet-friendly home with secure fencing and pet-proofing measures to ensure their safety.Caring for Pets in Your Home:When I care for pets in their own home, I strive to maintain their usual routines and provide a familiar environment to minimize stress. I follow the specific instructions provided by the pet owners regarding feeding, exercise, and any special care needs. Daily visits include playtime, walks, and social interaction to keep your pets happy and engaged. I ensure that your home remains clean and secure, and I am diligent about updating you on your pet's well-being. My goal is to provide consistent, reliable, and loving care to make your pets feel comfortable and content in their own space.
“Christie was AWESOME! She sent videos of my Dallas frolicking happily in her spacious backyard which put my mind at ease that he was having a wonderful time in her care! She is very loving, and attentive dog lover and I’ll definitely be calling on her again in the near future!”

“Ligia is by far the best doggy sitter in the world! I had never left my fur baby with anybody else before but Ligia reassured me that he would have a great day and he sure did! Every time I leave Harley at her house, I get pictures of him playing with other dogs and constant updates on how he’s doing. Ligia has helped Harley be able to socialize with other dogs and the best part is that I know he has a fantastic time with her. He’s always super excited to go to her house and play with his best friend, Ducky. I am so happy and blessed that I found Ligia! I absolutely recommend her and her services. Harley and I couldn’t be happier!!”

About: Hey! I’m Kaitlynn, I have 7 years of experience with animals. I was on rover a few years ago for 5-6 years and took a break after I had kids. I have worked with a travel vet for 2 years (before kids) and dog grooming! My love for animals hasn’t changed, I’m recently new to Rover again because I love working with animals and would love to start to get out there again. I give updates often and will have plenty of photos to share with you! My dogs are super friendly to all animals as they lived on a farm before. I’m hoping to help families while providing for mine:) Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I own my own business and work for myself, which gives me the flexibility to prioritize animals throughout the day. I can easily build my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins without rushing or being tied to a strict 9–5 job. Caring for pets blends perfectly with my active, hands-on lifestyle, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my routine while I manage my business responsibilities. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and any feeding or medication schedules are followed closely. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who are very social and do well with other animals, which can be great for pets that enjoy companionship. In a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I respect their space, keep everything clean and consistent, and make sure pets receive the same level of care, love, and attention they would get from their owner.
“This was Khloe first time with Cindy and she was so comfortable there. Cindy said it took her about an half an hour to get comfortable but after a few belly rubs she was fine. Cindy sent pictures and was wonderful. I will definitely book her again!”

About: Hello hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a 20-year-old dog lover that recently picked up petsitting in December! 😋🫶🏽 Until recently, I’d grown up with pets my entire life. Since my last childhood Pitbull, Roxy (one out of three total dogs) passed away in July, it’s been difficult adjusting to life without them to share it with me. My schedule feels hollow and incomplete after having spent the last four years with two senior dogs. These four years have given me experience waking up both late and early to tend to a pet’s many needs, and stay up as long as needed to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Living in a house of dog lovers, your pet(s) will be both well-cared for and showered with love all throughout their stay. 💕 Having our late girl’s passing so recent, we still have all the living necessities available for use if need be. This includes pet beds, food/water bowls, functional kennels, poop bags, and (unopened) toys. We adore our dogs, and are ready to cherish yours just as much before they return back into your loving arms. Petsitting will provide peace of mind for both me and my clients. Whether you’re away for a short or extended period, rest assured your pet(s) stay with us will be easygoing, well communicated, and overall an experience to remember! 😁 I’m currently being considered for a full-time position outside of Rover. When I eventually enter the workforce, petsitting will likely become a background gig I can no longer give my full attention to. Since it’ll be my first job ever, adapting to a new schedule will cause me to become heavily split between sleep, work, and my own physical health, which will conflict with petsitting until I find a decent balance. More info will come when I get the job! 😄 Our family and neighborhood is strict about leashes, so despite our open deck and yard, while outside your pet will NEVER be without a leash or left unattended. Provided collar and leashes would be appreciated! We have a room designated for crates in case of emergencies, and will not hesitate to use them in the unlikely circumstance that we need them. Our lives were once surrounded by two pitbulls and a chihuahua that we showered with love daily. Expect that your pet(s) will be treated as if they were our own! ❤️

“Super prepared with treats and extra poop bags. Very responsive when I reached out the first time about meeting for weekly walks and when I reached out about a last minute walk. I appreciate having someone with experience and patience as my little monster is still young and learning.”

“Brianna was great! We did a meet and greet beforehand, and I could immediately tell she was someone I could trust with my dogs. She was very attentive, followed all my instructions, and kept me updated throughout the week with messages and pictures. Communication was easy the whole time, and it gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing the pups were in good hands while I was at work. I’d definitely book with her again in the future.”

We walk 3 times daily, as well as plenty of enrichment time inside. Enrichment depends on the day, it can be playing with toys, eating treats from snuffle mats, lick mats, or just running around with them until they’re as tired as I am! Safety is my biggest priority. I can send real time updates that way you know exactly what is going on at all times, and I will always make sure to ask questions when needed.
About: I have actually grown up my entire life with dogs and cats and currently own a cat of my own. He is the light of life and I don't know what I would do without him. I know it can be stressful for you to leave their side for any amount of time but I promise they are in good hands. Of course pets also get stressed out as well and I want to help diminish those factors for both the pet and the owner. I have also taken care of a guinea pig in the past and have a pretty good knowledge of reptiles. Of course I will not assume anything about a pet without receiving proper care instructions from the owner. I work mostly evenings at our local live performance theater. So I am available most days of the week for normal 9-5 hours except for Wednesday and Sunday. My shifts are about 3-4 hours long so I will be able to take care of a pet at night as well. I would listen to the owner about what their normal routine would be and make sure if the pet needs play time or walks that they are well taken care of in those regards.
About: I have cared for pets of friends, family, and neighbors since I was in middle school, and enjoy being with animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m a fast learner and will care for your home and animals as if they were my own. I can handle long walks, cleaning up accidents, following special feeding instructions, play time, and even just hanging out on the couch with your pet. If your pet has special medical needs, please message me about details and I will let you know if I can help! In addition to my time spent caring for dogs and cats, I also have experience in house sitting, plant care, and exotic animal needs. Just send me a message and I am happy to help with whatever I can! I’ve recently graduated from JMU, and am searching for the right direction to take my career into. For now, I have dedicated the majority of my time to caring for animals. I have a lot of availability and flexible hours right now! I am happy to go to your house, where your pet is more at home, but also can keep pets at my place during the day, if needed!
About: We provide care in our home and treat your babies like our own. We walk them multiple times a day, love on them, take them on field trips when possible, we spoil them rotten. We can help with crate training, potty training, house Manners etc. We have experience with Senior dogs ( most recent passed this December 2024 at 15 years old). I have had diabetic pets so am willing to administer meds as required. I have volunteered with a local rescue for 4 years now and have fostered for that long as well and have experience dealing with many difficult behaviors like resource guarding, counter surfing and more. Here at Bark n Kuddles we are a husband and Wife team so our dogs are very rarely alone. I teach high school so during the school day my husband takes the pups on walks, and outings and provides play time and snuggle time. When I am home we share the responsibilities and our kids are trained so they love on your babies too but they know boundaries and are very good at being mini pack leaders. The only time your pet would be alone is if we had to go somewhere as a family where dogs could not come but we have two pups of our own to keep them company but again that is rare that someone is not home. We only take one or two clients at a time as we have a small home but we take the dogs out on walks (Distance depends on the dogs need but could be 2 to 3 miles easily) and I have access to a big fenced in yard that my family owns should dogs need off leash time and play time (under our watch at all times of course). We do crate dogs when home alone for their safety and to protect the house but they get yummy kongs with frozen treats and other treats as long as owner is ok with it. We love on them how the pups want to be loved on. If they want to lay next to us we let them. If they prefer to just chill off to the side that's all good too. We also follow all owners instructions whether in our home or yours and give your baby the attention they need to keep them happy and safe while you are gone.

“Ligia was awesome while watching my crazy Pitbull!! She was very patient and has alot of knowledge of working with dogs!! I will definitely be using Ligia in the future and will refer her to friends as well!”

“A great vacation for my high energy pups! Christopher was very responsive and was awesome at accommodating for my shepards. Lots of space for them to run and play. Would recommend!”

“Marissa was a great communicator and responded quickly to my original request for boarding for Luna. Scheduled a Meet and Greet that worked for both of our schedules to ensure my pup got along with hers and her cats. She is knowledgeable about dogs and Luna seemed to have really enjoyed herself between playing with Marissa's two goldens and her very patient cats. Lot's of pictures daily. I would feel comfortable boarding Luna with Marissa and her family again! If she recovers her energy from playing so much :-)”
