“Steven went above and beyond what we expected for our three cats. He really is a star player in the Roverr app due to his love of animals. We requested twice daily cleaning over a five day period. Even though we told him he could be quick, make it easy.. He actually engaged with our cats in a loving way and took care of the pet needs very well. He treated them like we do, and that's very meaningful to us. He made smart, kind choices - and the daily write ups meant a lot to us while we were away!! We felt we left our cats in the best hands possible, and it was better service than you get anywhere these days. Thanks for a great experience.”

“Morgan is an exceptional cat sitter! She took wonderful care of my three cats while I was away at the beach. She arrived promptly for each visit, sent thoughtful updates with pictures, and even rolled my trash cans to the curb on trash day! Her attention to detail and genuine care gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Morgan—she’s reliable, caring, and absolutely worth hiring!”

“Emma is a wonderful cat sitter! Our boys can be super particular, but she did a great job of endearing herself to them. Super attentive, responsive, and pleasant to work with. Would book again in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. I work full time at a grooming salon as a pet bather. And I have experience working at an animal hospital and a pet sitting company. I’m able to watch any sized dog and any age from puppies to seniors. I also offer simple grooming services! I regularly take multiple dogs on hikes for at least 1 hour and am used to watching large groups of dogs at a time I’m currently working full time, 5 days a week. I am free all day Tuesday, and Sunday. But I’m also free after 4pm any other day . I can pet sit overnight any day and do drop in visits in the morning, evening, and at night. I am unable to board dogs at my own home but at a clients home I can take your dogs for both short and long walks. I can even take them to a park for a nature hike. I will feed them at their scheduled times and if wanted by owners I can crate them. If medication is needed I am comfortable with giving it to them. I will give them plenty of love and lots of playtime. If wanted I can also give nail trims, brushing, ear cleaning and baths as I work full time as a pet bather.
“Sonja is terrific! My kitties loved her from the moment she came in. When I got home, my kitties were calm, had full bellies, potties were clean, all was in order. I couldn't be happier with the care Sonja provided, I 100% recommend her.”

About: I have three rescue dogs who are my whole world, and each came with their own quirks. I’ve learned how to help nervous pups feel safe, build trust, and settle in with lots of patience and love. My schedule is pretty open, and I’m usually available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and cuddles. Just tell me what works best for your pup. Safety is always my first priority, and I’m pet CPR certified for extra peace of mind. I take my time getting to know each dog’s comfort level and routine so they feel safe and relaxed. In your home, I keep things calm and familiar and follow your rules exactly. I’m patient, observant, and make sure your pup is never rushed or overwhelmed.
“Madison took great care of my cats while we were gone. She even went above and beyond when one wasn't well, calling and offering to help in any way. Highly recommend her!”

About: Like so many of us on Rover, I've been in a dog family since I was a baby, and I currently have 3 of my own in my home! While in college in Seattle I volunteered at the Woodland Park Zoo where I was exposed to a variety of caretaking with farm animals, as well as working in a summer program assisting with the dietician for Colobus monkeys! Recently I finished a year long tenure of work with Dog Krazy in Downtown Fredericksburg, where I befriended so many of the local dogs and owners. I've assisted in my spare time with pet care within the company, as well as taking charge of the wellness of my grandparents American Yellow Labs. My first dog I owned as an adult, my heart dog Sua, is an English Black Lab who I took to a comprehensive dog training school while living out west. I've continued her training, as she is now 7 years old, and have a steady, consistent fortitude for applying training methods to assist with behavioral training. I love animals of all kinds and am eager to meet your loved ones! I'm currently in a voluntary sabbatical of work while I transition into a firefighting academy. My schedule is completely open for all of your pet's needs! Your pets will be treated with as much love as all of mine have been given over the years. I'm adaptable to your requests, as well as the pet's needs if there are any accommodations that are needed. I welcome dogs of all sizes, I even encourage the bookings for the bigger pups! I aim to make their experience comfortable, stress free, and as enjoyable as possible. You will be provided with updates during the service through text and photos as well!
“One of the best dog sitters I’ve ever had in a very long time. She’s very patient very kind and she plays with my pups. Lillian Buddy takes them out. Give a report and also come back again just to make sure that they’re relax. I work in Washington DC and I am very grateful for her to be with my Lillian and Buddy Always recommend her.”

“We had Raven watch Simba and Storm again! She is great either way them and she is really good communicating with us and sending pictures. The cays always seem well taken care of whenever we come home.”

About: I've been caring for pets since I was a young child. I've learned how to identify and read body language of animals and have a unique way of bonding with and calming anxious pets of all sizes. I have a very loveable 2 year old pit bull that has been socialized her whole life with cats, dogs, and humans. She is a happy wigglebutt and is very easy to get along with. Your pet will have a big back yard to play in and and nice calming room to rest in during its stay. Rest assured while you are away from your furry family member. I work from home, so your pet will get plenty of exercise, love, and attention. For days that I may travel, I will ensure my calendar is updated to reflect non-availability. I have a room dedicated for pet boarding. There is a TV that will play the dog or cat channel depending on who my guest is. There is roughly an acre of fenced in yard in the back of my home and also a walking trail near the home. I will follow your instructions for care and/or medication application to the T.

About: I've had at least one cat almost constantly for the past 55 years. I've had at least one dog practically every day for the past 30 years. My dogs have all been large breed animals but I have also provided care for members of my family who have a small dog. I currently have 2 cats and a dog. I've given medicine orally and through injection, clip nails, and conduct basic grooming. Tricks, treats, and cuddles are my specialty. I retired recently and am looking for work in an area that I love. As a retiree, I am available every day of the week and at flexible hours. I'm also available for overnight stays. I prefer to keep the stress level to a minimum by keeping your pet in their home environment. I'm available for overnight care and daily walking or medical care.
“The care that Barbara provided to my kitties while I was out of town was exceptional. She sent daily updates and pictures, and gave some pets and cuddles to my little love bug, Twix. I would absolutely use Barbara’s services again in the future.”

“Jessica did a wonderful job checking on our older cat who can sometimes be particular with who he shows affection to and has some quirks. She left great pictures and updates and that put us at ease on our vacation.”
“Sarah and her family took excellent care of our kitty while we were on vacation. Even though our cat is very shy and didn't allow much interaction, they still managed to send us photos and updates, as well as taking care of her physical needs. I will definitely be calling on them again, and I highly recommend them! Very trustworthy and reliable sitters.”
