“Our shy cat loves Willow! She was able to find him napping in a closet on the first day and from the cute pics she sent us it looks like he warmed right up to her. Good to know he’s got a friend while we’re away!”

“Awesome job again watching the kitties! Steven gave all the medicine and made sure our cats were fed, had litter boxes cleaned, were played with, and doing well. He also brought in packages and turned off a leaking humidifier. Thanks!”

“Kelly was great at communicating with us and sending pictures as well! Our dogs were thoroughly tired after their visit and had a great time, would highly recommend and look forward to working together again!”

“My cat was very happy to spend time and play with Svetlana during my 3-week vacation. Svetlana visited him daily and managed all of the necessities plus play time with my cat. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend her services.”

“Holly is absolutely great with my cat, and I feel much better knowing she is caring for her. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants the absolute best care for their pet.”

“Can’t say enough about Ligia! She did an excellent job caring for Loki and Odin while I was on travel. Odin (the alpha) usually fusses and is upset with me when I return from travel. Not this time. They both were less stressed and had a calmer demeanor. Ligia’s daily visits and interactions put them at ease. So thankful and appreciative!”

“Reliable, Trustworthy, and easy to work with! I will be hiring Erika in the future. She helped me over the Christmas & New Years holiday by stopping in to check on my house cat. She provided thorough messages after visits and good pictures.”

“Jessica is very professional and easy to talk to. She made sure everything I wanted done was done the right way. She was very patient with our two young male cats. We are so grateful her your services. Thank you, Jessica!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we are so thankful that we found Chris to care for our cats while we were away. Our family really appreciated how well he took the time to play with and cuddle our cats while he was there caring for their other needs. Thank you!”

“Tiffany, David and their kids were amazing! I needed a last minute cat daycare option and they were incredibly sweet to say yes for a 6 a.m. drop off the next morning. Henry had a lovely time, which including a walk on his leash and a very cold AC vent when he got back. He didn't want to leave, which is a great sign!”

About: Like so many of us on Rover, I've been in a dog family since I was a baby, and I currently have 3 of my own in my home! While in college in Seattle I volunteered at the Woodland Park Zoo where I was exposed to a variety of caretaking with farm animals, as well as working in a summer program assisting with the dietician for Colobus monkeys! Recently I finished a year long tenure of work with Dog Krazy in Downtown Fredericksburg, where I befriended so many of the local dogs and owners. I've assisted in my spare time with pet care within the company, as well as taking charge of the wellness of my grandparents American Yellow Labs. My first dog I owned as an adult, my heart dog Sua, is an English Black Lab who I took to a comprehensive dog training school while living out west. I've continued her training, as she is now 7 years old, and have a steady, consistent fortitude for applying training methods to assist with behavioral training. I love animals of all kinds and am eager to meet your loved ones! I'm currently in a voluntary sabbatical of work while I transition into a firefighting academy. My schedule is completely open for all of your pet's needs! Your pets will be treated with as much love as all of mine have been given over the years. I'm adaptable to your requests, as well as the pet's needs if there are any accommodations that are needed. I welcome dogs of all sizes, I even encourage the bookings for the bigger pups! I aim to make their experience comfortable, stress free, and as enjoyable as possible. You will be provided with updates during the service through text and photos as well!
About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12, when my family got our first dog. By the age of 16, we had adopted a young puppy which gave me early experience with both adult and untrained dogs. Over the years, I’ve walked, fed, and cared for dogs of all sizes, from Beagles to German Shepherds and Greyhounds. I have been fostering for the past 5 years, taking in puppies as young as 6 months to seniors as old as 12 years. In 2024, I adopted my own high-energy pup (part German Shepherd), which has deepened my understanding of training and exercise needs for active breeds. I haven't had a cat personally, but I have looked after cats for friends and neighbors when they go away. I also have experience looking after rabbits and guinea pigs. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, or shy, I’m committed to providing safe, attentive, and loving care. I love all animals and want to help give your pets the love and care they deserve when life happens and you need some help! I understand that routine is important for pets, so I try to stick to the routines you have already set in place while I am looking after your pets.
About: I've had at least one cat almost constantly for the past 55 years. I've had at least one dog practically every day for the past 30 years. My dogs have all been large breed animals but I have also provided care for members of my family who have a small dog. I currently have 2 cats and a dog. I've given medicine orally and through injection, clip nails, and conduct basic grooming. Tricks, treats, and cuddles are my specialty. I retired recently and am looking for work in an area that I love. As a retiree, I am available every day of the week and at flexible hours. I'm also available for overnight stays. I prefer to keep the stress level to a minimum by keeping your pet in their home environment. I'm available for overnight care and daily walking or medical care.
“Haley was just perfect! We needed a sitter for our cat very last minute and she was able to come over same day to meet Oscar and see where all his stuff was! She was fantastic in remembering his feeding schedule and within a day our shy with strangers kitty warmed up to her. Her pictures every drop-in were just what we needed while we were away! I would definitely recommend her!”

Artillery Ridge cat parents share their Rover experiences
Madeline was a great sitter! She sent daily updates and took care of my fur-kiddos like they were her own! I appreciated her attention to my pups needs and adjusting her stays to be a little longer to make sure the pup ate & felt loved. 10/10 and will certainly be using her again! Thank you Madeline!!

I'm so glad I chose Madison to take care of my cats! She was communicative, thorough and very good with the kitties. She also sent lots of pictures. Because of time issues I wasn't able to have a meet and greet first, so I sent written instructions. She followed them to the letter! I will definitely be calling on Madison the next time I need someone to look after my fur babies 😻
