“They were wonderful with my sweet Minerva! I got regular updates on how she was doing and they were so very kind. After an unexpected extra day of being gone, they even kept her an extra day happily. There was the cutest outside and inside area the pups had free access to. It wasn't like a kennel where she was cooped up all day. She had play time and fun with the other pups. She didn't even want to leave. As we were leaving, she kept pulling on her leash back to Brooke. This is a dog who doesn't pull on leash without being exceptionally sure of what she wants. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. They also allow you to see the area the pups are kept before you book which was great!”

“We always have the best experience with Kathryn! She took care of our girl so well and kept us updated consistently while we were away. Cannot recommend her enough!!”

“Since our first use of Rover, this has been the best visit/offering of service thus far! Sonja &Phil maintained communication and provided photos throughout her entire stay, provided proper feeding (I always give a little extra and sitters would never have any to return), and she came back well and in good health (not the case on 2 occasions with another sitter). I appreciated that Roxy was still able to get outdoors in a enclosed area and I'm sure she did as well because she loves being outdoors. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be looking to use their services again!”

“Rebekah did a wonderful job! I would highly recommend her. She was very thoughtful and attentive to my little dog, who is never been boarded anywhere. She did a great job!”

“Phillip was great with Bronx! We felt really comfortable leaving her with him and felt reassured throughout the weekend. He sent update pictures and let us know that she was doing ok. Bronx was a happy girl when we picked her up. Very communicative and overall great vibe! Will be using Phillip again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our sweet goldendoodle, Farley! Heather went above and beyond, caring for our old boy better than we could have ever imagined. She kept us updated with tons of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Farley was clearly loved, pampered, and treated like family. We will definitely be booking with Heather again—she’s the best!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Amber made us feel so comfortable about leaving our pup with her. We scheduled our vacation last year and I had forgotten to book JackJacks stay at a kennel we normally take him to. I’m glad that I did because Amber took such good of him. From the first meeting until we got back I felt at ease. She sent us pictures of him everyday and gave us updates on how he was adjust. My husband and I were a little concerned about her fence because our pup is small and he’s escaped from our backyard numerous times. Amber sent us pictures of JackJack playing on her screened in porch because she knew we were a little concerned. I would definitely book Amber to keep JackJack again. When we picked up Jack he greeted us but tried to go back into Ambers home, so that let me know that he also had a great time with her. ☺️”

“My girl Quinn had an awesome time at Connie's house for the week and was well taken care of. Pictures every day and very quick response to any questions. Highly recommend and I would definitely use Connie again on our next vacation.”

“Our girls were loved and very well cared for. 🩷 As parents, we could not ask for more. Svetlana is compassionate for your fur babies and you the parents. 🥰 We received videos that helped us to enjoy our time away, because we didn't have to wonder how they were doing. We are grateful for Svetlana. 🐾”

“We had a great experience with Yeny and Ray! They were wonderful with our Furbaby, Kyon. We received lots of sweet and funny photo updates that perfectly captured his personality. It’s clear he was well loved and cared for.. he misses them already! We’re looking forward to booking with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Lorena really helped us when we were in a bind. The person who was originally going to watch our dog just stopped responding to us after already booking with her and we had to find other boarding extremely last minute. She was so easy to work with and kept us in the loop by sending lots of pictures, much appreciated!”

“Our old pup absolutely loves staying with Julie’s family. She takes wonderful care of him, navigating his picky eating and various joint medications. He comes home so tired - from both the outdoor time and the social interactions, I am sure. I trust Julie completely with his care and will continue to use her for our dog sitting needs as long as she will have us.”

“Sarah and Jacob where awesome from beginning to end and we even made new friends out of them. I would highly recommend them to anyone and we are definitely using them again to watch our fur babies when we go out of town”

“Amazing!! My pup had a great time. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around and be dogs. Wonderful communication so you don’t have to stress while you are away. I won’t be bringing my dog anywhere else.”

“Meredith is an angel with our sweet pup! She kept him for the duration of our cruise, and updated us with several pictures and a video. She was able to cater to our specific feeding needs, as well as administering medication. We are so lucky to have a puppysitter that treats him with such love and care.”

“Stephanie was wonderful! Took care of my dog and kept me updated with pictures throughout her stay. She looked happy and well taken care of the entire time! Would definitely book with Stephanie again”

“Traci is amazing, very responsive and my dog has so much fun at her house! She goes out of her way to make special accommodations for my big boy and I couldn’t be more grateful to her!”

“We had a great experience boarding our miniature poodle mix with Eldeen and her lovely family. We could tell Daisey felt right at home when she first arrived. We had a meeting prior to boarding. Eldeen wanted to make sure she knew every need of our pup to have the best possible experience. My 11 year old daughter, my dog's BFF, gave the experience with Eldeen two thumbs up. You could tell Daisey had a good time because before we left she went up to Eldeen and her daughter to give them love. I would recommend them to anyone looking for pet care.”

“I booked Chris to watch over my disabled pup while I was away for a week. Not only is Chris a wonderful, kind, and polite person but he was also attentive to my boy’s every need. Chris maintained the strict schedule I gave him including daily medications and ample playtime to ensure my dog was happy and healthy while he was away from my care. Chris was responsive to my messages and even sent picture updates completely unprompted. I was never left wondering how my pup was doing because Chris went out of his way to constantly update me. After seeing the property Chris resides on, I was comforted to know that my dog would have plenty of room to run around and get his energy out. Chris’s own dogs were friendly and very excited to meet a new friend which I viewed as a great opportunity for my own dog to increase his socialization skills. I’ll be the first to tell you that I am extremely wary of who I allow to care for my boy and I can say, without hesitation, that I was impressed with the intention and gentleness Chris gave my pup. I will certainly be booking with him again!”

“Christie was thoughtful and ensured the safety of all of the pets that were in her care the week we boarded our dog. She did meets and greets with the pets and owners so everyone was comfortable. When we dropped our dog off she was excited to be there and couldn't wait to go in. Our dog enjoyed her time at Christie's. Christie provided videos of the dogs playing.”

“Once again, we returned home to a happy cat who had been well cared for by Steven. He always leaves great updates and photos! We continue to enjoy peace of mind knowing our Cody is in good hands when we travel!”

“Jessica was amazing!! I’ve never seen both my girls (Skittles & Ursa) so warm to a sitter so fast. She had a genuine touch and I felt incredibly comfortable having her take care of my furbabies.”

“Jenni has been there for me since I got my kitties and when I need her for emergencies. She quickly establishes rapport with the kitties, tend to their needs during their visits, and always goes above and beyond what the visits entails. She’s been my go-to for my kitties. Highly recommended!”

“Katie was very attentive and caring to our two cats while we were away. She made sure they were given attention and love and sent us details on how they were doing as well as adorable photos ❤️”

“My cat was very happy to spend time and play with Svetlana during my 3-week vacation. Svetlana visited him daily and managed all of the necessities plus play time with my cat. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend her services.”

“Morgan is an exceptional cat sitter! She took wonderful care of my three cats while I was away at the beach. She arrived promptly for each visit, sent thoughtful updates with pictures, and even rolled my trash cans to the curb on trash day! Her attention to detail and genuine care gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Morgan—she’s reliable, caring, and absolutely worth hiring!”

“Angel is fantastic and took great care of my 115 lbs cane corso. She paid attention during initial meeting, offered her feedback regarding the pup's training and demonstrated cool Rover app features.”

“Sonja is terrific! My kitties loved her from the moment she came in. When I got home, my kitties were calm, had full bellies, potties were clean, all was in order. I couldn't be happier with the care Sonja provided, I 100% recommend her.”

“Tiffany, David and their kids were amazing! I needed a last minute cat daycare option and they were incredibly sweet to say yes for a 6 a.m. drop off the next morning. Henry had a lovely time, which including a walk on his leash and a very cold AC vent when he got back. He didn't want to leave, which is a great sign!”

“Paige was accommodating about booking on short notice when my regular sitter couldn’t make it. Before my trip, she came over for a meet and greet and was super friendly! She provided updates about and pictures of my kitties while I was out of town.”

I’m gentle, observant, and always patient with shy or anxious cats. Whether your cat needs playtime, medication, or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved.
“Shelby took great care of our very reluctant senior cat, Jake. She went over and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable and safe in her presence. Jake will more than likely welcome her back with open paws because she respected his space. He might even let her pet him. As owners, we so appreciated the pictures she sent. It brought calm to us. We look forward to having her care for Jake again in the future!”
“Sara was terrific, as usual. She sent daily reports, with photos, of my cats. She was also responsive to questions. She even brought in a couple of packages that arrived while I was away. Will definitely book with Sara again.”

“⸻ Pedro had an amazing day with Yeny and Ray! He got plenty of playtime with his new furry friends, Charlie and Leo. When we got home, Pedro was happily tired and ready for bed. Yeny and Ray sent us photos and videos throughout the day, and communication was great. We’ll definitely book with them again!”

“Susannah is amazing! She was able to accommodate my last minute booking. She fed my pup with her pup's food because I completely forgot to pack his. She walked, played and kept me updated on my puppy. Gus gets a wiggle butt when he sees Susannah and her pup. She's been so great to work with.”

“Ligia is great! You can see that she loves what she does! She is super nice! Very responsive, communicative, and truly interested in knowing your fur baby’s needs. We felt at ease leaving Boomer with her. Thank you Ligia! We will see you again!”

“Svetlana took great care of our 2 dogs on a last minute notice for the day. She is so kind, and good with the dogs. Her house is clean and tidy (1 of my dogs likes to chew everything), and she has a nice large fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend her, and will definitely book with her again. Thank you so much!!”

Here’s a glimpse of how pet care fits into my daily life: Morning Routine: Early Walks: I start the day with early morning walks or playtime in the yard, ensuring that pets get their first burst of energy out and start their day on a positive note. Feeding Time: After exercise, it’s breakfast time. I follow each pet’s specific dietary needs and ensure they have fresh water. Midday Routine: Interactive Play: Mid-morning, I take breaks from work to engage in interactive play sessions or training exercises, stimulating both their minds and bodies. For those staying at my home, this might include a visit to a local park or a playdate with other friendly pets. Quiet Time: Pets also enjoy some quiet time while I focus on work, with cozy spaces available for napping and relaxation. Evening Routine: Dinner Time: As the workday winds down, it’s time for their evening meal. I maintain their feeding schedules and monitor their intake. “My husband and I were in the area visiting and wanted to spend the day in DC. Stephanie and her family watched our two dogs for the day. She sent us lots of pictures and updates during the day! When we are back in the area we will use her again!”

About: Hey! I’m Kaitlynn, I have 7 years of experience with animals. I was on rover a few years ago for 5-6 years and took a break after I had kids. I have worked with a travel vet for 2 years (before kids) and dog grooming! My love for animals hasn’t changed, I’m recently new to Rover again because I love working with animals and would love to start to get out there again. I give updates often and will have plenty of photos to share with you! My dogs are super friendly to all animals as they lived on a farm before. I’m hoping to help families while providing for mine:) Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I own my own business and work for myself, which gives me the flexibility to prioritize animals throughout the day. I can easily build my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins without rushing or being tied to a strict 9–5 job. Caring for pets blends perfectly with my active, hands-on lifestyle, and I genuinely enjoy having animals as part of my routine while I manage my business responsibilities. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and any feeding or medication schedules are followed closely. I also have two friendly dogs of my own who are very social and do well with other animals, which can be great for pets that enjoy companionship. In a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I respect their space, keep everything clean and consistent, and make sure pets receive the same level of care, love, and attention they would get from their owner.
“Christie was AWESOME! She sent videos of my Dallas frolicking happily in her spacious backyard which put my mind at ease that he was having a wonderful time in her care! She is very loving, and attentive dog lover and I’ll definitely be calling on her again in the near future!”

About: Hi there! I’m a caring and reliable dog sitter who truly enjoys getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I have experience with all kinds of dogs, including those who are shy or anxious, and I always take a calm, patient approach so they can feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. With anxious dogs especially, I focus on creating a gentle, low-pressure environment by slow introductions, calm energy, and routines that help build trust over time. I pay close attention to body language and adjust to whatever each dog needs in the moment, whether that’s space, reassurance, or a quiet walk. I also make sure to follow all care instructions closely and keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pup is doing. My goal is to be someone you and your dog feel completely comfortable with, like a trusted friend who shows up and cares every time. All dogs need to be current on their vaccinations (including bordatella) and flea/tick preventative. Please provide a screenshot of their most recent shots through the Rover app. If I have more than one dog: I do separate them while they are eating, when I am away from home, and at night. PLEASE NOTE: If you plan on booking for extended stay, our price is $40 a night for 5 days. I'm currently not employed so your pet will be attended to at all day! Any accommodation you need for them, I can surely provide at any time. I have a fenced yard and currently no other pets in the house, meaning your pet will have 100% of our time and attention so they don't feel out of place!

“A true professional and very good with our babies. It's clear that she loves what she does. She is very responsive and very kind and caring towards our dogs.”

“Jessica was amazing! She walked my two dogs, a high strung chihuahua and elderly dog (14 y.o.), for 30min for 4 days. She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”

I’m also able to adapt easily if the pet has any conditions or disabilities that I need to accommodate to. I’m always available at any time whether it’s mornings or nights. I may have trips but whenever I’m home, I’m always looking for something to do. I always make sure they’re comfortable with me before petting then it playing, considering I never want to force anything. I make sure to feed them on time and take then out whenever it is needed. I also love walking my own dogs all the time.
“I truly appreciate the excellent service I received. She was very attentive and made me feel like she genuinely cared about my dog. I especially appreciate her accepting my request last minute and still providing such great service. I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to my friends.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for 10 years, whether mine or those belonging to family. I have trained puppies as well as taken care of my dogs that have reached their golden years, and helped them over the rainbow bridge. My top two priorities are communication and safety. Any need you have regarding your pet is of utmost importance because pets aren’t just animals - they’re family! I have two dogs at home, one is 1 1/2 years old and the other is nearly 4. We walk 3 times daily, as well as plenty of enrichment time inside. Enrichment depends on the day, it can be playing with toys, eating treats from snuffle mats, lick mats, or just running around with them until they’re as tired as I am! Safety is my biggest priority. I follow instructions very carefully, I keep a close eye on your fur babies both in the house and outside. I can send real time updates that way you know exactly what is going on at all times, and I will always make sure to ask questions when needed. I can recreate your pets routine as closely as possible, and I will always bring positive energy!
About: We provide care in our home and treat your babies like our own. We walk them multiple times a day, love on them, take them on field trips when possible, we spoil them rotten. We can help with crate training, potty training, house Manners etc. We have experience with Senior dogs ( most recent passed this December 2024 at 15 years old). I have had diabetic pets so am willing to administer meds as required. I have volunteered with a local rescue for 4 years now and have fostered for that long as well and have experience dealing with many difficult behaviors like resource guarding, counter surfing and more. Here at Bark n Kuddles we are a husband and Wife team so our dogs are very rarely alone. I teach high school so during the school day my husband takes the pups on walks, and outings and provides play time and snuggle time. When I am home we share the responsibilities and our kids are trained so they love on your babies too but they know boundaries and are very good at being mini pack leaders. The only time your pet would be alone is if we had to go somewhere as a family where dogs could not come but we have two pups of our own to keep them company but again that is rare that someone is not home. We only take one or two clients at a time as we have a small home but we take the dogs out on walks (Distance depends on the dogs need but could be 2 to 3 miles easily) and I have access to a big fenced in yard that my family owns should dogs need off leash time and play time (under our watch at all times of course). We do crate dogs when home alone for their safety and to protect the house but they get yummy kongs with frozen treats and other treats as long as owner is ok with it. We love on them how the pups want to be loved on. If they want to lay next to us we let them. If they prefer to just chill off to the side that's all good too. We also follow all owners instructions whether in our home or yours and give your baby the attention they need to keep them happy and safe while you are gone.
About: Hello! My name is Marissa. I have had a dog in my family all my life. In fact, when I was a transfer I took up dog obedience and agility training with my family dog. I have taken care of all types of dogs including seniors as well as puppies. I also volunteer at the animal shelter and there I deal with all types of dogs from various backgrounds so I have experience with behaviorally challenged dogs as well. I have also taken care of cats and some have grown very attached to me. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! During the summer I have very open availability and I am free most weekends and during the week all day. Since I work as a teacher, during the school year I am only available before and after work as well as on the weekends. I am very respectable of others property while still giving the animals personalized attention. I make sure to spend as much time as possible with them. I work with them and have learned to be very patient with other cautious animals.

About: I’ve always had pets my whole life of all different kinds. I’m patient and playful with animals. I have cared for mostly seniors and puppies. I currently sit a senior Boxer with arthritis so I have experience with administering meds and providing comfort. I’m working with only one family with three dogs right now, so my availability is pretty open! I also do well with a lot of pets, as I live on a small homestead. I do best in a client’s home as I believe it makes the pet the most comfortable. I also have too many animals in my personal home to feel comfortable allowing my animals to interact with other pets. My pig isn’t the biggest fan of dogs these days. I prefer a backyard when possible so I have space to play with your buddy, but I also love a long walk. Whatever is most convenient and comfortable, I can work with just about anything.
“Stephanie was absolutely fantastic walking Rudy and looking after our pets while we were away on vacation! She was incredibly attentive and gave detailed updates on how Rudy was doing. I would absolutely recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a dog-walker.”

“Paige took great care and did very well with Eli on his walks, she even made sure he was content with a nice treat at the end. I would highly recommend Paige and will definitely be utilizing her services again.”

“My girl Quinn had an awesome time at Connie's house for the week and was well taken care of. Pictures every day and very quick response to any questions. Highly recommend and I would definitely use Connie again on our next vacation.”

“Traci is amazing, very responsive and my dog has so much fun at her house! She goes out of her way to make special accommodations for my big boy and I couldn’t be more grateful to her!”

“Ligia took great care of our pup again! She was happy to play with her Ducky and I felt comfortable leaving her. She knows how to take good care and help the dogs feel at home. Thank you!”
“We were in a bind since the dog kennel was booked. River app came in handy to find someone to watch our dogs. Aside from watching two mini- doxies for a day and a half, our dogs benefited from being around new people and new environment to help them socialize more. At first I wasn’t sure how they would do in a strangers home but they seemed very entertained and taken care of. Tiffany sent us photo updates as well which was nice to get.”

“Omg! Hannah is the sweetest! This is the first time my family has used ROVER and we were blessed to find Hannah! We didnt just choose Hannah.. she in return chose us! She loved and cared for our fur children as if they were her own! She was so considerate for our wants and needs for our furbabies and in the end I just wanted for both her and our furbabies to just enjoy each other's company during their stay with her. We honestly could have not been any more lucky to have found Hannah.. as a person she is just a sweetheart. Everyone please keep in mind that we cannot expect for our furbabies caregivers to provide to our furchuldren the exact way we do at home but I can guarantee Hannah will try (and probably succeed) and give your babies love and care that anyone would hope a pet to receive. Thank you Hannah for being you!”

“Marah provided exceptional care for our Kion. Kion instantly connected with her and her family. Throughout his stay, Marah kept us updated with regular messages and photos. She treated Kion as if he were her own, showering him with the same love, cuddles, and attention he receives at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be using her services again in the future. Highly recommend Marah for anyone in need of a caring and reliable pet sitter!”

“Jordan and his family was amazing with Monty. He was very quick in his responses with continous updates while taking care of my dog. His home provided the perfect space for Monty to roam and be free. Will definitely use again.”

“Great communication! Super sweet sitter. Blue came back happy and healthy. Crystal and her family took great care of him while we were away for several weeks. We will use her again!”

“Highly recommend! She took amazing care of our dog, kept us updated with messages and pictures. We felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in such great hands. Will definitely book again!”
