About: I have had both dogs and cats my entire life and even had a ferret at one point. I am a dog walker and cat and dog sitter (or cat walker if you would like!). Some of my current clients have been with me for 5 years. I also volunteer at a local shelter. I can drop in after 3 on most days since I am a student and weekends I am more flexible so I can work around your needs. I have a closed yard for my German Shepard and my cat is strictly an indoor cat. We use a mixture of dry and wet food for both animals and have frequent potty breaks for the dog.

About: TLDR: I am animal-obsessed and will take good care of your babies! I am located in Central Lawrenceville and work from home. I am a cat-mom to Galax (9) and Zuzu (5) and have cared for many cats and dogs through Rover over the past two years. I also have experience watching friends dogs and cats over the past 9 years, and worked at a doggy day care for a short time where I helped care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and abilities. Now, I work from home which gives my cats and I time to bond and play. I am also able to notice any slight change in behavior, which is crucial to being a cat owner as most cats hide sickness very well. I look forward to giving your babies attention and caring for them while you're away and fully understand that it can be nerve-wracking to leave them. Ultimately, it's my goal to understand your pets boundaries and provide the best care possible given their needs. As long as I have enough prep time and clear instructions, I can commit to visiting your animal up to two times a day or as needed. I am particular with who cares for my cats when I am out of town, and expect the people who I will Rover for to be the same way. I always walk the caretakers through detailed instructions of how the cats should be cared for and emphasize that they need much more than just someone to feed them. I also understand that every animal is different and it’s important to respect their boundaries.

About: I've cared for various kinds of pets over my whole life and at one point was able to become an AKC trained dog trainer! I've since changed jobs to a patient sitter at a nearby hospital and miss the new animals being in my life. I'd love to get a chance to meet your pets and help care for them! I work 3 inconsistent days from either 630am-pm or 630pm-am throughout the week but can make changes as needed to work up to 3 days a week for a client outside of that! I feel that all pets have a wide range of personalities and needs but the important thing is to work with them to achieve their physical and emotional needs! I have 2 cats with vastly different attitudes and I make sure to tailor my care for them in specific ways like being a safety person for my cat while she's eating or training my partners cat to ask for attention and treats more politely. When it comes to dogs I have a training in positive reinforcement and dog behaviors and will try to engage with breed specific enrichment on top of whatever schedule the pet parents have for their dog.

About: I LOVE playing and running around with dogs and am happy to take your dog on long walks or on a romp in the dog park. I'm currently on sabbatical, so I have lots of free time to spend with your pets... and I will because I miss my pet time! My husband is allergic, so Rover is how I get to spend time with furry friends. For dogs, I keep an eye out for dangerous situations when on walks with dogs and ensure that we give a wide berth to any possible threats. For cats, I make sure that I respect their boundaries and don't stress them out as we're getting to know each other. I am also very careful when entering and leaving to ensure they don't escape.

About: I've taken care of dogs (either my own or pet-sitting) for the past 15 years. I have had many friends and family members rely on me to keep their pets fed, walked, played with, and loved while they are out! I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication etc. My work schedule is fairly flexible, so it's super easy for me to fit pet care into my daily/weekly routines! I keep my home clean and safe for pups to venture around. I will send lots of pictures so you know your pet is happy and well taken care of. I have a fairly flexible full time job where I am able to work from home as needed. Additionally, when I need to be in person it is usually only for a few hours maximum. So I have plenty of time to be playing with and caring for your pups! I live in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of great spots for fur babies to use the bathroom and get their exercise in! I spend a lot of time after initial drop off trying to make your pet as comfortable and relaxed as possible! I'll also send you lots of pictures to alleviate some of the stress of leaving your pup with someone else. I spend a lot of time giving the pets I care for the same love and attention they would receive at home.
