“Emma was just a wonderful pet sitter. I received updates and photos on the cats twice a day, and I felt so totally comfortable with her taking care of our kitties and being in our home. She filled in at the last minute, and really saved our vacation. She went above and beyond several times and I can't thank her enough!”

He kept me updated with regular messages and the cutest photos, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. Dolly looked so happy and relaxed in every update—it was obvious she was in great hands. David went above and beyond, and I am so thankful for the love and attention he gave her. Highly recommend and will definitely book with him again!”

About: I genuinely believe every animal deserves detailed, patient, and loving care from pet sitters while their owners are away. I am patient and value my integrity when it comes to following through with every pet owners instructions even behind closed doors. I myself have two dogs and a cat, they range from senior to barely out of puppy hood. They all have different needs and I do my best to ensure those needs are met. Same goes for any other animals someone entrusts me to work with. As of right now especially in the summer I can do any days. I take care of them with love and patience. It can be very stressful for animals if their owner is a way, I try my best to give them as quality attention, and TLC as I can because all animals deserve that much at least.

About: Hello! We are Kelsey and Chase, a married couple who are lifelong animal lovers. We share our home with two senior rescues (chihuahua mixes) and our young son. We are excited to know your pet’s personality, energy level, and anything else we need to be aware of to give them a wonderful and relaxing stay with us (and to give YOU peace of mind). We look forward to loving and caring for your pooch as our own. We were inspired to become Rover sitters because we are anxious pet parents ourselves (ok, mostly Kelsey, haha!) and wanted to be the kind of sitters with whom people could feel comfortable and confident leaving their own fur-babies when they go away. We want your dog to feel at home with us! We will love on your beloved pup the entire visit and send lots of photo updates to ease your mind while you are away! For doggie daycare and boarding at our home — with the utmost respect and gratitude for your consideration, we kindly ask you to bear in mind that SMALL, senior or low key, chill dogs of any age will be the best fit for our household / own senior dogs. Your dog should also be comfortable with / tolerant of young children - we do not let our son bother our dogs, but he lives in our home and is sometimes boisterous! Our dogs love to eat scraps from under his high chair :) If you would like one of us to drop in or stay at your house — we can be much more flexible with the types of animals we take on! We are both very experienced with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. Kelsey is also an avid equestrian and happy to help care for your horses while you’re out of town. THANK YOU so much for considering us to care for your fur-child. Please reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet! We both work from home so have lots of flexibility for bathroom breaks and walks. Our dogs get at least 4 bathroom breaks daily and typically one 30-45+ minute walk, which your dog could join! Our dogs are fed 2x daily; we can feed your pup on whatever schedule you prefer. We can also administer oral medication as needed. Creating a safe environment for our pets is a top priority. We keep our home secure and keep our dogs leashed on walks at all times. We have a fully fenced backyard. We do not approach strange dogs on the street.

About: I have watched both dogs and cats since I was in high school, and have experience taking a wide range of dogs on walks from senior labs, to young goldens, to rescue greyhounds. As a teacher, I understand the importance of consistency and compassion when responsible for students, and those same traits are just as important when caring for your pet! As a teacher, I have a fairly early schedule which means my late afternoons are dedicated to going for walks myself. Because of this, my time is free for drop-ins to check on your pet, or to take your dog on a walk with me. I value your safety and comfort as well as the safety and comfort of your pet. When I am stopping by to take your dog on a walk, or drop-in to visit your dog or cat in your home I will be sure to follow all of your instructions for accessing your home and keeping it secure while you are gone.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was 6 years old. I was always the kid in the family, that walked the dog, because I wanted too, and spent time playing with them. Occasionally I got in trouble for bringing home strays. Since I was a young woman, I have always had cats as well. I do have experience with chickens, and goats too! When I was in college, I spent one summer working for a dog groomer, which was interesting. My Golden Retriever received her Canine Good Citizen Award, and I was able to occasionally take her to work to visit patients. At present, I have a 16 year old cat, who takes medication daily. I also have a 14 year old Westie with arthritis, and a 6 year old German Shepherd, I consider them my family. I am retired now, so can easily fit drop in visits into my day. I will have time to play with your pet, as well as feed them and do other chores. I am used to being very careful when entering or leaving my home, as I have an escape artist dog. I will be aware of that as well as following a schedule for feeding, giving fresh water and more. I am experienced with giving medication to both dogs and cats.

“Sheldon was awesome! We had him drop-in our doggie while we were away at an all-day event. At the initial meet and greet, he took time to get to know our doggie... easing into the introduction and got down on her level... and Sheldon asked us all the right questions. The drop-in appointment went perfectly. He was communicative, punctual, took lots of pictures, and gave specific details about our doggie. We felt very comfortable with him and were really happy with the service. Will definitely hire them again. Thank you, Sheldon!”

Kelsey & Chase W.
“Kelsey is a terrific addition to the Rover team. Rarely have I met anyone with a kinder heart, a deeper commitment to animal welfare, or a stronger work ethic. When she commits herself to something, she embraces that challenge 100%, and then some. She will be responsive to your needs and especially those of your pup. Dogs in Kelsey's care are assured of gentle, loving, and patient care. She takes the time to get to know each of "her" dogs as well as their unique personalities and needs, and she will treat each of them as her own. I have seen the love and care she provides her own dog - an elderly rescue that languished at a shelter until they were both lucky enough to find each other. We should all be so lucky! I love Kelsey, and you will, too!”

Julia J.
“Julia took great care of my cats, even though they are not very smart, and are very greedy. They loved hanging out and playing with her. She's very reliable, communicative, and an easy recommend.”

Katy W.
“I have known Katy for years and the one think I can absolutely say about her is that she loves animals. She has always had cats and dogs at home and feels about them just as she feels about her children. She treats them incredibly well and always wants what is best for them. Katy will always treat your animals with love and care.”

Brooklyn K.

“Brooklyn was great with my two kitties!”

Hannah E.

“Booked her late the day prior. She was a quick communicator, timely, and sent pictures of my little puppy. Would recommend!”

Tracy A.

“Tracy was great with my dogs. They are afraid of everything and she handled that very well. Made my trip better knowing she was caring for them.”
