“Marian watched my senior kitty and made sure he got his meds. I can always tell when he’s been well cared for and he absolutely was! I’m already booking Marian for another stay!”
“Jordyn was amazing and dropped in every day while we were gone to take care of 3 of our cats! Great communication and went above and beyond. Will definitely be asking Jordyn to take care of our cats again whenever needed.”

“Hunter is so much more relaxed when I get home from work after Natalee has taken him for a walk! Very happy to have Natalee available for drop in visits and walks!”

“Chantel took care of our babies while we were away for the weekend. She sent lots of fun pictures that included loves and ball playing. Chantel will definitely be pet sitting for us again. ????”

“I'd give 10 stars if I could!! Mika was seriously that amazing with my kitty that's not always so friendly to strangers lol. She made my fur baby feel right at ease and even playful despite the stress of being home alone overnight. She took great care of her and even went above and beyond cleaning up some cat puke on my rug! Great communication and tons of pictures and updates everyday that I was away. I can't recommend Mika enough for timid pets. She's truly a cat whisperer!!”

“Sarah was a phenomenal pet sitter to my older chihuahua! Every pet sitter has different qualities that make them stand out. For Sarah, I think she excels in communication with pet owners and doing more than the bare minimum on her drop-ins. My dog is “precious” when it comes to going potty and she often won’t go right away, Sarah took her outside at least twice during each of her visits… to give my pup a couple chances to do her business. That’s so appreciated when my dog is at home all day with very limited out-of-crate time while I’m away. I will absolutely continue to seek out Sarah as a pet sitter in the future! Thank you for treating my Ginger so well!”

“Best sitter hands down. Has taken great care of our furry family and knows how to take care of smaller critters like guinea pigs! She always has our back when we need pet sitting would 100% recommend.”

“Karen has done about 6 drop in visits with our two pups. She is responsive, friendly, and very clearly understands our two large dogs. If we need to be away from the house for an extended period of time we know our dogs are in good hands with Karen.”

“Alex took such great care of my cats! I could tell they were getting attention and I could see the progress of them getting more and more comfortable with her with each visit. Loved the adorable photos she sent!”

“Danielle was fantastic with my kitty! Sent lots of pics and let me know how she was doing as this was my first time leaving. My kitty was sassy but eventually gave in and let her give her lots of pets. Highly recommend her!”

“Cathy is amazing. She took great care of our kitty Fiona. We couldn't be happier! It is so nice to be able to leave home and know that Cathy will treat our kitty like family. Thanks so much!”

About: I am a huge animal lover of all kinds. I have worked at petting zoos and regular zoos, volunteered at animals shelters and animal sanctuaries, and own two cats myself. I have watched many of my family and friend’s pets and homes throughout the years. I have experience with all sorts of animals, from starfish to horses to golden doodles. I go to school Monday-Friday, my schedule being Monday: 8:30-4:30 Tuesday: 9:30-10:30 Wednesday: 8:30-9:20, 12:30-4:20 Thursday: 8:30-3:20 Friday:8:30-9:20, 12:30-2:20 After those times or during any gaps I am available to house sit or drop in as needed I am a responsible young adult who has a lot of experience with animals and has cat sit many times in the past in client’s homes. I always send them pictures of their kitties and give them a brief on everything once I’ve finished. I know how stressful it can be to leave pets at home, so I try to make it as comfortable for them as possible!
About: I have three dogs of my own, smallest being 20 pounds and the biggest is 75 pounds. I am comfortable walking and sitting any size dog that is well behaved. I am also completely okay caring for other animals in the home during drop-ins , or while dog sitting! Getting out and being active while being around animals is a great way to get some extra cash over the summer before my baby is due in November! I am working part time as a barista and currently doing night shifts so I am open in the mornings and afternoons most days. I just completed my two years at SFCC so I have a pretty open summer other than my part time job that I am willing work around! Please let me know if you have any questions :) I am a 4th grade teacher who is currently enjoying my summer break with my family of four. My schedule is open for the next few months! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following their established routines, providing feeding, fresh water, exercise, potty breaks, companionship, and any special care instructions. I prioritize safety, comfort, and regular communication with pet owners.

“This is first time I've ever used a dog sitter, I was a little nervous my dog wouldn't respond well as he's so attached to me and doesn't like it when I'm gone. But Emily put my mind at ease both during our meet & greet and when she did check in. Getting pics really comforted me & assured me my dog was in good hands. I will definitely use Emily again!!”

About: I have helped with many people's pets who needed walked. Also have done pet sitting with house sitting. I have enjoyed meeting animals and getting to know them. I'm currently working part time and able to make plenty of time to walk and do drop in visits for other people's pets aka fur babies. I like to learn how each fur babies home is and get to know the neighborhood to keep them in an environment that helps keep them calm in their natural home area.

About: I got my first dog when I was 18, a large lab named Bogey, and I immediately took on full responsibility for his care and training. From that point on, I managed his daily needs, structure, and behavior while also navigating college life. That experience taught me consistency, patience, and how to stay attuned to an animal’s cues, energy, and emotional needs in a real-world, hands-on way. Growing up, I also had a cat, which helped shape my comfort and understanding of different animal temperaments and communication styles. I’ve always loved cats and still hope to have one again in the future, but I’m waiting for the right time. In the meantime, not having a cat of my own actually allows me to fully enjoy time with other people’s pets and be more present with them. I’m very comfortable caring for animals of different sizes and personalities, especially big dogs, and I naturally take on a calm, attentive, and responsible role in their care. I also find that my ability to stay grounded, patient, and observant translates well into understanding both animal behavior and human behavior. I’m highly attuned to animals’ needs and take pride in creating a safe, stable, and caring environment for them I work full time from 7:30am–3:30pm, with flexibility before and after work to give pets attention, care, and consistency throughout the evening. I already build daily walks into my routine and would genuinely love having a dog join me, since it fits naturally into my lifestyle. Outside of work hours, I’m very present and attentive, and weekends are fully open, which allows for extended time, activity, and stability in care. I also have prior experience watching dogs for neighbors, family, and friends, and I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I’m confident in my ability to adjust to each animal’s needs and provide consistent, reliable care. I’m comfortable caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home depending on what best meets the pet’s needs. I am comfortable housing a cat in my home, as it is a safe and stable environment for them. However, I would be cautious about boarding a dog in my home at this time due to my fence needing repairs. For dogs, I am fully open to staying in the client’s home or visiting consistently throughout the day to ensure reliable care, routine, and attention. I prioritize maintaining the pet’s normal environment and schedule, and I am flexible in adjusting my care approach to provide consistency, exercise, feeding, and companionship as needed.
Whitman pet parents share their Rover experiences
Elyse was a great match for me kitty Billi. Billi was a bit skittish at first, but it's clear Elyse had worked with cats before and was very patient. I got photos of a happy kitty playing and content to be cared for. I came home to a clean house and everything was neat and tidy.
