We 100% trust her in these situations, and she communicates well regarding what they are doing while she is with them. You won't find anyone better.”

About: I’m experienced with senior dogs and cats, as well as playful puppies and kittens. I provide gentle, attentive care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy or a senior cat who needs extra TLC, I’ve been there. I’m warm, reliable, and always put pets first. As a college athlete with a part-time job, I’ve learned how to manage my time well—and pet care fits right into my daily routine. I care for my own cat and dog at home, so caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. My family also runs a reptile business, so I’ve grown up around all kinds of animals and feel confident and comfortable with them. Whether your pet needs a walk, snuggles, or special attention, I’m ready to give them reliable, loving care. I routinely care for my own pets and my siblings’ as well, so keeping things clean, organized, and calm is second nature to me. I make sure everyone is fed on time, comfortable, and happy—whether that means playtime, quiet time, or a little extra attention. I’d bring that same level of care and respect into your home, treating your pets and space as if they were my own. I always aim to leave things better than I found them and make sure your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away.

“Hailey was an excellent caretaker of our kitty! Hailey provided drop-in visits and was a great communicator. We'd be honored and delighted to hire Hailey again!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life but really started taking care of them when I was about 5. Throughout my childhood I had 6 dogs, all of different breeds and sizes. I frequently dog sit for my boss when he goes home (from out of state) or on vacation. I also have experience with cats, turtles, ferrets, rabbits, and possums. I’m normally able to walk/stop in to visit after works hours during the week (5:30pm). I have a lot of availability on the weekends, when I’d be able to stay overnight or have dogs stay overnight. I do live in an apartment complex with lots of friendly neighbors and their dogs! There are great walking paths throughout my whole complex so there would be no issues going on long walks! I’m all for snuggling on the furniture, as I want your babies to feel as comfortable as possible!

About: My pet care career goes back 20 years to when I started dog-sitting for Stella, the black lab across the street. Since then, my clientele has grown to encompass many friends and family members who trust me with their animals. I pride myself on adapting to the needs of clients and their pets, adjusting my approach to give custom care to your beloved creatures. I have time to care for pets throughout the day and overnight. Because I have a job with a flexible schedule, I can adapt my routine to suit your needs. Your pet's safety is my #1 priority, and I want to do everything I can to ensure you feel good trusting me with their care. I let animals approach me first and get comfortable before I go in for snuggles, kisses, or pets. I also pay close attention to the body language of your pet and other animals in the environment, avoiding any potentially unsafe interactions or situations. I actively supervise pets in my care, staying alert to any signs of danger or illness. As a pet owner, I am familiar with using the emergency clinic at MSU and the Greater Lansing emergency vet in Williamston and can get your animal there quickly if needed. Lastly, I understand the anxiety of leaving your pet in the care of another person, so I respond promptly when you contact me with questions or concerns.

About: I have had a dog in my family since I was a toddler. In my life, my family has had one Golden Retriever, and 6 Pomeranians. We rescued 3 of these pups! And all at one time, we had 4 Pomeranians - making me have to really help out with training and dog care. My family has always been passionate about animals, specifically dogs. We emphasize the importance of taking care of a pet as if it’s a family member. I grew up helping take care of them: Training, walks, runs, bike rides, meals, hiking, car rides, cuddles, brushing, baths, vet appointments. Additionally, I always ensure my rescue dogs feel comfortable in their new home. Naturally, all dogs are easily comfortable with me. I always drive hours home just to spend time with my fur babies with my parents. Once I learned about this app, I instantly downloaded it. I’m so excited to spend my free time doing something that makes me happy! I currently work full-time in lansing from 8:30am-5pm M-F. I love animals and have extra time so I would like to make additional income! I am available after work or on weekends as long as I get enough notice. I will be sure to spend time with the pet when I’m taking care of it. I will go on walks, go outside, and play with the pet. My apartment complex has a a lot of trails to walk pets. I will do whatever the pet owner asks from me and ensure the pet has my attention while I’m with them.

I am retired and when you book me for a house sitting know that I will stay with your fur baby from the time you leave until the time you return.I have been with some animals as pass over the rainbow bridge and have comforted the fur parent. I have administered medicine including insulin to animals. Having a nursing background helps with giving meds. I am a retired RN. I am reliable and caring. Your dogs will have plenty of play time ,nice walks and lots of cuddles. If your cat is anything like mine they will let you know when they are done playing I have a large fenced in yard. Simara enjoys running and playing keep away with her orange football. Obi likes to walk the perimeter. If the owner does not have a yard I will bring the dog to my house to run the fenced yard. Kaitlin C.
“Kaitlin has lived with our dogs and cats her entire life. All she knows is to love them as members of the family: to play with them, share deep conversations, pour out her heart to sympathetic ears in times of trouble, to make room on the bed for multiple furry visitors, and to grieve when they pass. With that love, though, is a strong sense of responsibility. As an adult, Kaitlin has cared for other's furry friends. She knows that they miss us when we have to be away and that they need someone to care for them and to spend time with them so they are not lonely. As a member of Rover, she will take care of your pets' daily needs as well, keeping to agreed-upon schedules so your furry friends will be happy and healthy when you return.”

Lansing dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brooke and Caitlin were absolutely incredible. This was my fiancé and I’s first time using Rover and they helped us figure out exactly what services were right for our dog and 2 cats. Our dog is an anxious boy, and they were amazing with having patience while he warmed up to them. They sent plenty of photos and report cards everyday keeping us updated, and they were very quick to respond to our messages. We ended up having some trouble getting back home from our trip and they worked with us to make sure our furbabies were taken care of even with our delayed arrival. We will absolutely be booking with them again.
