About: I'm very good with making sure a puppy is happy, healthy, and played with! My neighbors often leave their dogs with me. Although I'm a beginner with cat care I've learned a lot and I'm willing to listen and learn more from you! I'm always free just home with my cat so don't worry about texting me if you have any worries or just want to say hi. I totally get it! They'll be spending time with me all day so they'll never feel lonely and will have my attention cause I love dogs and cats. I have a two bedroom apartment and I'm willing to take your dog or cat outside if needed, there's a large field to walk around in near the sports center every dog loves!

About: I watch dogs in my home. Your dog will have plenty of play time with my dogs in my fenced in yard, daily walks, and I enjoy training basic commands and leash walking. *Note: I am not the right fit for dogs who need to be the only dog in the sitter’s home. As a mental health therapist with an anxious dog of my own, I am particularly attentive to your dog’s body language, signs of discomfort, and unique personality. As a dog owner myself, I empathize that it truly sucks that you can’t just text your dog to ask how they’re doing when they’re in another person’s care. My aim is for the next time you arrive at my home, your pup’s booty will wiggle and communicate it all! In the meantime, I welcome your check ins and am happy to send you plenty of pictures and detailed updates. I work from home M-F with a flexible schedule that allows for plenty of yard play and neighborhood walks. Because my work hours are different each day, mid day dog walking is not possible for me unless you live in the Hyattsville/Bladensburg/Riverdale area of Maryland. Communication, safety, and advocating for your dog’s needs are of utmost importance to me. For example, my dog loves trail runs, hikes, and trips to the dog park. Should your dog enjoy any of those activities, you can trust that I will be attentive to their needs and advocate for them in different environments. If you’re not sure but want me to try, I’ll be attuned to your dog’s cues and respect their communication. I will not push them past their limits - they need to know I have their back. I have one large and one small crate should your dog be used to crate sleeping or in the process of crate training. Let’s discuss what your dog needs to feel comfortable when we connect.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, piranha, bunnies, turtles and rodents. I have always loved and seen animals as the more primal side of our nature but that’s one of the purest forms of love that one can give! I am currently working full time at NIH, and after about 3:30pm, I work with animals around my community. Weekends I like to volunteer with people struggling with bigger dogs and temperament issues. Walking and leash training is key in my experience I have a fenced in yard and one cat that has been spayed and ready to have some company for good time and to keep them safe!

About: I can do anything from walking to giving baths or from filling food and water to providing medicine 🐾 I’m okay with dogs of all ages and sizes from puppies to pitbulls and from the sick to the elderly 🙂 I work remotely so it fits in quite easily. I live in Buffalo Grove and my office is in Evanston (when I do decide to go into work), so really anywhere in the suburbs I’m willing to drive to! About: I had a dog for four and half years but sadly he passed away in March at a very young age. I used to love taking my dog for a long walk around the neighborhood. I know all the potty training and how to feed them. I’m a first time mom so I stay home during the week. On the weekends like Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays I work. I would definitely do it during the weekdays I have a big gate in the backyard. There’s another dog in the house but he’s mostly in the basement. I used to take my old dog in the front very trained up.

About: I grew up with a bunch of smaller pets, mostly fish and hamsters, and finally convinced my parents to adopt a dog when I was in high school. I moved away from home and miss her dearly, but I’m excited to bring the patience and love of animals I learned with my pets to yours! I’m experienced with shelter animals after volunteering at one for some time and am so excited to meet your pet! I have a 55 pound standard poodle named Roshe that I adopted in 2023, and will need to have a meet and greet before hosting your pet. I work full time, but can work from home 2-3 days a week, and my fiancée works from home all of the time, making it easy for the two of us to care for your pets! I've walked a variety of dogs at my local animal shelter for some time and can handle pets with a variety of needs. I'm pretty active and can get your dog all of the exercises they need while keeping them safe.
